I listened to all Dave had to say and it really wasn't a pleasing story to listen to, I have been told that there's always two parts of the story, but at this part, I can tell that this one coming from David was definitely the truth, no doubt. I haven't experienced that act in reality, those who ended up divorced, but I have heard a lot about it and no one finds it funny. David said that it was also his mother who filed for the divorce after Uncle Dale even apologized for what she had been the one who committed the crime, she divorced Uncle Dale, took half of his money and left Dave here with him, not even showing signs of battling for who's going to keep the son.
Most cases like this, the woman plans on taking everything from the Man, I have read some books relating to this, but as David said, he has not seen or even know of her whereabout until now, though Uncle Dale is trying as hard as possible to fill up that void, he sure knows that he can never replace the Mother whom David grew up around, right now, I feel more sorry for the pain Uncle Dale might've gone through because of his wife.
“ I understand all you've said Dave, but one thing Is for sure, both ladies are not the same, you can't expect me to judge Stella just because you aren't great with woman, just let go of the pain Dave, not all women are the same, you will understand me more when you got to meet mother superior from the Orphanage, she's the wisest person I have ever come across in my short life and she got all the respect she deserves from me, always looking out for what's best for everyone, both the kids and the adults in the Orphanage ”.
I don't know whether he's getting convinced by what I am telling him, but still, I have to make sure she changes his view on how he sees women, especially on how he view my girl Stella. David let go of the issue, walking out of the sitting room, his expression wasn't impressive, I guess he wasn't regretting telling me all that, because I really learnt so much from his story that I have began to kind of regret why I never asked about her all this while. My food has almost turned cold whilst still on the table before me, no need to go heat it up again, just going to eat it that way.
About Three hours since Dave left the house, he returned home with his Dad, more like he had gone to the gym after we were done with that conversation, I couldn't go with him because I was quite exhausted from the date I went with Stella, I wonder how she's doing now, she has never called and haven listened to Jack's advice about relationships lately, he has advised me not to make the first calls to her, I don't see how beneficial that advice is, I have been exercising it for a while right now, but right now, I can't no more.
“( Hey Ella... How have you been doing since you got back?....)”, I asked, lying with my back on the bed, still tired from today's activities. “( I have been sleeping Jones, just waking up right now after a long period of getting serious nap....)”, she said over the phone, sounding really tired.
“ ( I guess I should allow you to continue with your rest, you really sound tired and exhausted, call me when you're up) ”, I requested from her, my cheeks hurting because of the wide smile portrayed on my face. “ ( Sure, I will handsome...) ”. She disconnected the call, I guess I should take the time out and get some sleep too.
Coming out from the room after a long sleep, the time on my device says 21:33p.m. I guess I have just been sleeping for two hours and some minutes now, already missed dinner and my stomach is rumbling.
Bringing my food out from the kitchen and sat on the sitting room couch, I decided to turn on the television to keep myself busy until I was done eating. On the screen viewing back at me was my portrait, it's reporting about a missing person and it was me, I turned the television off immediately out of fear and uncomfort, should I turn it off or continue watching so that I could hear about the News being reported, the picture of mother superior popped up in the screen, not a picture actually, but an interrogation program where she was been questioned about me, I know that look in her eyes, the down part of her eyes almost looked swollen like she hasn't been getting quite a lot of sleep, she has never given up searching for me yet, how I wish there's a way I can reach out to her, let her know that I was really great great hands.
I turned off the television after the report was done, I kept down the food, losing my appetite instantly, how I wish I never saw this in the first place, I wouldn't be getting really worried right now.
It was a restless night for me, I thank God that it was Sunday tomorrow, the sleepless night wasn't going to affect me on any occasion because I will be staying back home all day.
How come?, Why do they have to search for me until now, it's almost a month and some weeks already passed, of all time, why should It be now again?.
I don't know how many people might've seen this news because it's coming late when everyone was already in bed, just as I saw this, someone else will too, someone close, anyone.
