I was on my toes, the feeling of wind passing through the side of my ears as I was on my toes running as fast as I have never done before. My ankle is still in pain because of the injury caused by Miriam, but at this point, the predator after me is far more worst than my dislocated ankle. I can hear the sound of the panther behind me getting closer as I continue running, at this point, I have no single hope of making it out of here alive, but that doesn't mean I should just stand and wait for it to devour me. My mind is blank at this point, have nothing that comes to mind for me to do, I can't even look behind me to see the face of the predator after me, all I could make out was the thick feeling of the wind that feels like I was a spaceship following from the sky, could possibly develop fire because of the gravitational force trying to pull me back, making me feel like my speed right now is a wasted effort because the more I run, the closer the panther gets to me. Each time I stamp my dislocated feet on the ground, it feels like a needle is been chucked at me, trying as much as I can to withstand the pain washing through me.
     Should I continue running or should I just run into this structure like cave distance away from me?, Can I even make it there?, What if the predator behind me happens to pounce on me before I get there?, Can I possibly find a rock the size of my arm or a broken branch that can serve as a weapon to manage buy more time for my life?, I am completely clueless right now and my life is on the line.
     Just some feets before the cave, I was thrown off balance as I somersaulted on the hard floor, losing balance and crashing my body on a tree close by. I winced in pain, tear dropping down from my eyes as I saw the panther gently approaching me, at this point, I am totally lost, I can't do anything else but stare, its eyes focused on mine as if it knows no fear, before I could watch it take another step closer, it ran towards me, eyes closed and hope lost, waiting to see which part of my body is going to receive the sinking in of its fangs first.
I heard the growling of the panther, it sounded more like it was in pain rather than happy for its meal right in front of it, I gently opened my eyes and saw two vampires tearing it apart, trying to drink its blood, the panther was fighting to resist, but they were too strong for it, using there claws to hold it still and there fangs buried in the panther's flesh.
My chest rising and falling, fear evaporating out from my body as if my body was full and can't contain anymore of it, my heart beat were too fast, almost hitting so loud and clear in my ears. I think I am going to be next after the panther, they were just behind the shadow of the cave where the sun was shining behind the rock and can't get in there, other vampires came out behind them to join them in devouring the lifeless panther which has already given up the struggle, eyes wide open and fixed on me, yet lifeless.
     They stood up, all of them, looking at me they can't seem to attack me because I was outside the sun and for me, I was too afraid to stand on my feet or even make it out of there. I began to crawl back, backing away from their reach as they just watch me, hunger and anger in there eyes, my heart pounding so hard, can possibly pounce out from my chest.
     With shakey body and trembling with fear, I got up and began to walk away, trying not to look back, trying not to watch those angry eyes as I walk. Looking back is not an option right now, because I can possibly have a high blood pressure at this moment, having seen in front of me two deadly kind of predators who were after my life. I began regaining my full sense, bagan to jug little by little, my mind telling me to run as fast as I can but my mind doesn't seem to know how to run for now, so I am trying my best my jugging, at least I could do that one than wait for those vampires to come tear me apart.
Where are you Mary?, Jessica?, I can't do this alone anymore, I am in danger and alone, there's a high chance that many other dangerous animals in here will soon come for me.
