We actually don't know where we're heading to, just roaming inside the woods for the past four to five hours, getting rests as we walk towards where we thought will lead us to what we seek. I could possibly say that it is better I have requested living the town with my mum than getting myself into a grave danger just to remain in a town where death is just next door. If only they knew the kind of task this is, they will realize that we are nothing but sacrifices to what we are going up against, having seen what we are after can do, I guess we are also as good as dead, even if they're not, I am nothing but human, I can possibly see my end if a slightest mistake is made.
     I'm a man, a warrior who shouldn't run away from fight, we are on nothing but a mission to go get some evidence to prove ourselves innocent. They didn't send us to go on a battle against these creature of sought. I am the one with the camera on my backpack, even if he didn't get the chance to get hold of Miriam, at least we can take back some pictures.
     It was night already, and we have to sleep, I'm really exhausted, doesn't know whether they're feeling same thing as me. Grabbed some snacks on my backpack, eating it while on alert, quite scared of what might happen tonight. Other attacks at the town was mostly at night, so I don't think there's going to be an exemption tonight. 
     I opened my eyes immediately, not knowing when I passed out, some of the snacks still remaining on its paper. I guess I was too exhausted from the long walk, you can never cheat nature, just has to accept it when it comes knocking.
“ Look who's up, Prince charming here turned into some sleeping beauty or can I say sleeping handsome...... Quite surprised you didn't need my kiss to wake up ”.
Jessica joked. I'm not in the mood for her sarcasm, we should try staying alert, or maybe I should just give myself the break, I am no vampire with super strength like them, more like they don't even sleep at night because they were wide awake right before I slept off and now that I woke up. I need the sleep, because we leave at dawn.
     It's still quite early for us to proceed with the journey, but we have to, don't want to spend a lot of time in here after all, will have to cut down my rest period and not draw them back. Me and Mary never spoke much yesterday and it seems like she was avoiding having a conversation with me, possibly thinking that I am mad at her and wasn't trying to show it. That's her concern, whatever she's thinking isn't what I am in for right now, I am ready whenever she feels like we have to just overlook our differences.
     “ Really glad that last night went by without an attack, thought that they would come out of nowhere and pounce on us ”.
I said, trying to bring up a topic for us to talk about. “ Is that what you dreamt of last night...... Wow, you really had a relaxing night ”. Jessica continued making fun of me. I turned to Mary and she looked away immediately, funny though. We continued on our way, but something out of the ordinary began to happen as the sun began to rise, shining quite bright than it was used to in the town, Oh, I really miss this bright sunlight, one of the natural things that didn't come with us into the town. 
“ We are out, we have to take cover from the sun, let's hurry, I am burning up!....... I don't think I can take it longer, the first cave you see on your way, or any shade, search for us their ”.
Jessica said in pains, their skin glittering and a slight flames evaporating from their skin. They took off immediately, leaving me behind.
     I continued walking alone in the thick woods. At this point, I am not afraid that any vampire will pop from nowhere, instead I am wary of any wild animal, predator that might possibly make an attack towards me, just lost my protections because of the sun. I guess I should start running if I ever want to meet up. I'm wondering how my mum is doing, she haven't called yet, maybe Micheal said something to her or he already took care of things in a way that's not keeping her worried enough to call. I had the sound of broken branch distance behind me, and that of broken leaves, turning around, then I realized that I am standing right in front of danger. You're done Joseph, you are done.
