I kissed Joseph on the lips in front of Mary before walking off, she can continue staring at me all she wants, it's none of my concern, this isn't the first time we kissed, I don't know or care whether both of them are into something, just did what I felt like, incase we go there and never make it back, at least I will go with the taste of his lips in my mouth. I'm not hearing any footsteps behind me yet, neither am I hearing any word from each of them, it's their problem, not mine, Joseph was actually the one who started it, not realizing that there would be no end, I don't even know the look on his face right now, but something I know for sure, someone is pissed off and angry, yet can't possibly do anything about it.
     We are taking each step gingerly, not to signal or draw attention towards us, they're gathered round one particular man who was dressed like in the 30s or something like that, can't actually explain the time zone he came from.
     Something terrible is going on here, it could have been called science or experiment if it was humans, but they're vampires and there seems to be something extra ordinary in the actions taking place.
It's not a great chemical combination when a vampire is drinking another vampires blood, but this man in the middle is doing just that, but in a different way that seems like he drinks blood and ingest something else inside of them which will turn them into this creature we once fought against.
     “ It was true.....”.
Mary said beside me, my attention turning to her, so she never believed our testimony or what?, They thought we were insane or lying.
“ We have to go back now, we have to go warn them what's coming Jessica or else it would be too late to notify them on time ”.
     Sometimes I can't believe this girl here, did she remember that we were also thrown away from same town she wants to go and release information too, who's gonna listen to her, they never listened to us when we was telling them what we went up against. At least Joseph came with camera, he can capture as much as he can from that distance, but for Miriam, I am definitely getting my hands on her.
“ We were ordered to return with Miriam for proper questioning, if we don't, then this mission is a total waste because they won't see our efforts as enough to accept us back and get ready for the storm coming ”.
She kept her mouth shut, don't know whether I just spoke sense into her or she was just disappointed by my claims, either way, I am going back with Miriam.
“ Arrhhh!!!......”.
Shit, that was Joseph's voice, something might have happened to him, Mary left me immediately and head back to check on him, the vampires gathering around heard the scream too and began charging towards that direction, the man stayed back, but he wasn't the one I came here for, I have some scores to settle with Miriam.
I chased after them, luckily she was the one behind, something I just wanted, she might have noticed my presence and turned, but she wasn't as fast as me and can never be. I pushed her with me down the valley as we began somersaulting down, crashing on different obstacles until we got to the end. I was quick to get back in position, not giving her a single allowance or space, I punched her jaw, throwing her off balance as she tried to stand, I pinned her down there and began doing my work, punching her repeatedly on her face, blood covering her view, she's definitely going to need some blood if she survives me. I grabbed her by the hair, tilting her head up, eyes staring right into hers.
“ Turns out you can never outrun me after all, I told you before...... I remember warning you too about getting your filty hands on Joseph, now you have succeeded in stepping into a land mine that's going to shred you in pieces ”.
     I stranded her up with a rope and dragged her with me. I can't seem to hear or smell anything about Joseph or Mary, I was tempted to go look for them, but that will end up with this miserable bitch escaping. I carried her with me, just hope not to attract any other vampires roaming the woods in search of Joseph.
As much as I wish to take Miriam here back with me, I have to find him, he saved me from danger, I should be there to save him too. I stringed Miriam to a tree and went on to find him.
