“ Go get your families and any neighbors living around your home, take them to any of the said locations directed which is close to your home, and guard that location as much as you can because you are guarding your family, their safety is left in your hands, do anything possible to never allow anything or anyone to get past you because when they do, your family is the one going to suffer your weakness, go and make them proud now....... Do you hear me!!!?”.
We all replied the same answer to deputy Jeremiah. I took a last look to Mary and Jessica, who where both looking at me, the gave me a nod with their heads, signalling me to stay strong, right now, I should protect myself because they would be on another mission of their own. 
It was so sad watching them go, but there's nothing else I can do about it, if I want to see them again, I should protect my family well and myself too, so when we win this battle, they can still return to me.
     All the vampire began heading out after listening to the command given to them by their respective group leaders. I watched them leave the cave before running off the cave just like the other policemen rushing to go protect their families.
     Reaching home, I saw the door was locked from outside, shit, my mum was not home, I guess she's in the hospital then, working late hours. The cave is the closest post I wanted to take her to, the cave is a location inside the woods too, where the attackers would be coming from, it will be the first place to be attacked if found out, but it is way too hidden, making it the safest spot too.
     Leaving our home, I began running towards the hospital, looking for any weapon at all which I can use to at least try and protect myself, I am not yet licensed to carrying gun unlike the other officers, so I have to protect myself with anything handy.
I ran to one of the officers directing the civilians around, asked him of where he was taking them, he said the school, not actually where I was going, I guess I should just head on my way then, we were to follow orders, everyone on his family members, had to really leave the heroic act and go protect my mother, I took a kitchen knife and a baseball bat from one of the neighborhood, will definitely return it if I survive. I took off again, getting past many officers handling their tasks, my mum is the only one I have left, have to protect her with whatever I got, she lives for me and me for her.
     Getting to the hospital, I saw the policemen now guarding the hospital entrance, policemen positioned around the hospital, blocking any entrance for the vampires, I went through and headed upstairs in search of my mum.
The hospital was flooded, finding her definitely won't be an easy Job but I have never been the type to give up hope even when the odds are against me.
I later saw her in one of the offices around, she was trying to calm people around down, directing them and giving them hope that everything will be alright, that the policemen are taking care of everything, so confident on what she actually don't know, something more than a storm is coming.
I hugged her from behind, the side of my face placed on her back, she quickly turned around and saw me staring right into her eyes, in a twinkle of an eye, tears come flowing down her cheeks, she wasn't expecting to see me, I know I was in her mind no matter what, she really wanted to see me, but I don't know yet the information given to her by Michael, so I don't wish to complicate things.
     “ My son..... How, how come you are here?, Micheal and deputy Jeremiah told me that you guys were off town for some basic training, why are you back in such a troubling situation ”.
Yeah, now I know, what a great excuse collaboration, sounds reasonable though, and at least I am glad that it was a news that wouldn't make her bother about me too much. 
“ Every recruit were called back because of the sudden situation, so we came running back to protect the town ”.
I explained. Now she's going to be worried that I am going to be involved in the fight happening, don't even know the information given to them on what's happening, fresh tears came down running down her cheeks.
“ Heard there's a terrorist group in town, just be careful and stay close, follow the orders so you won't be a victim of the casualties, you are way too young to get involved ”.
“ I know mom..... But believe me mom, I would be safe wouldn't let you down ”.
