I'm getting back to my sense as my teeth were still sunk into the jaguar before me, Jessica was doing the same by my side as we shared dinner. 
Eating now was the last thing that crossed my mind, actually, nothing was on my mind, I can't even remember how we got here or anything at all, I kind of feel blacked out but can now remember how both of us had to run away from Joseph so as to find safety from the sun. This was the only place close to us,so we decided to find shelter in here, our skin so burnt out like we were survivors from a huge fire blast.
     Turning around, Joseph began stepping back, confusion on his face as he wave his hand behind him as if he was trying to find a tree he could hold so that he won't lose balance and fall. Jessica began to walk towards him like she was still hungry and was trying to attack him.
“ Stop that Jessica, it's not funny.....”.
I said. One of my knee still on the dirty floor and the other leg standing firmly on the ground as I rested my elbow on it.
“ Stay out of this drama queen, we are just having fun ”.
She said jokingly. The look on Joseph's face changed from confused to seriousness, not happy that Jessica was intentionally coming towards him just to scare him. 
He walked past her and came to where I was, kneeling with one knee right beside me.
“ I am really happy to see you guys alive ”.
He said, emotion in his eyes. He was dead serious with what he just said, he do missed us and wanted us around. Better for him that he showed up with some friends, if he had found us all by himself, I don't know if he would be alive to say a single word. 
We needed to heal and we needed a lot of blood. This three dead wild animals here wasn't even enough for us, but at least we are content with the much we had. I don't have to spoil the mood by telling him he was lucky to have come with friends, instead, I let myself flow with the emotion he's showing to me, telling me how much he wanted us around.
     “ You know I am here Joseph ”.
Jessica said, jealousy in his eyes. Joseph didn't listen to her, he just stood up, taking my hand with him, my hand which was stained with blood, jaguar's blood, he then looked at Jessica and asked her to come closer. The Jessica I knew will call it a bluff since she doesn't listen to no one, but this time, she came, stooping herself so low to Joseph's command, despite all the jealousy in her eyes.
Joseph hugged both of us together, me and Jessica rested into him like both of us wanted the same thing, we had an intense look between ourselves, before falling into the peace on the air and decided to knot the hug by putting our hands together.
     Joseph told us the miseries he went through when he was in search of us, he had to run from a panther, then vampires and lastly, the jaguars, yet here he was, in one piece, or if I am not mistaken, he still have a broken ankle. Jessica roasted the jaguar, it wasn't actually for either of us, but for Joseph who seems to have ran out of food. 
It's already midnight, we go tonight or else will would be stuck here throughout tomorrow, waiting for another night to arrive. Joseph already found out the hideout we were in search of, this is now going to be the real task, getting Miriam and walking out of there with some more convincing evidence.
     “ I can see them, they look much like they are having an initiation or a group meeting or something, I can't really tell...... Maybe me should go closer, we can make out a clear view ”.
Joseph said, while taking a distant look through the camera. I looked at Jessica who turned to look at me too like we were in sync, both of us know this was as far as Joseph can go, anyway further can result to the vampires getting his human scent which would attract their attention, something we should never allow to happen because the numbers there were too much for us, they were like thirty in number, outnumbered us totally.
“ Joseph..... You will have to stay here and watch, anything out of place you see, you have to take cover, we can take care of ourselves, don't make any mistake, because any will surely cost us the mission ”.
