Celine and Nick finally reaches the small town of Walnut Creek. They were greeted by the gust of winter wind, as if they are being welcomed.
"So, where are you going now?" Nick suddenly asks Celine.
"I'm going to my parent's farm, which is called the Montecarlo farm. How about you? Where are you going?" Celine asked in return.
"Oh, I'm going to my grandparent's place." Nick smilingly answers. 
"Let's have fun on our holiday vacation, okay?" Celine was ready to say goodbye.
"See you at the rehearsals after the holidays." Nick nodded in return.
They were about to part their ways when Celine heard someone calling her name.
"Celine!" 
Celine smiled when she saw Sally, and her brother Simon, who both steps out from the pick-up truck. Sally excitedly ran towards Celine. 
"Sally and Simon! I'm glad to see you again after a long time!" Celine happily greeted her childhood friends.
But instead of answering Celine, Sally's attention instantly focused on Nick.
"Who is he, Celine?" Sally instantly asks her.
"Oh. Introductions are in order. Sally and Simon, I want you to meet Nick, a good friend of mine from the big city. Nick, they are Sally and Simon. They are twins and my childhood best friends." Celine introduces them to each other. 
"He's so cute!" Sally gasped in open admiration.
"Don't be too straightforward, Sally! You're embarrassing Nick!" Celine scolded her childhood friend.
"What's the big deal? I'm just telling the truth! Right, Nick?" Sally cajoled.
"I'm cool with it. Thank you." Nick smilingly responded.
"Are you coming with us, Nick?" Sally smilingly asks him.
"Sorry to burst your bubble, but he's going to stay with his own relatives. Now, stop pestering him and let him go." Celine strictly reprimanded Sally.
"Don't worry. We'll meet again soon." Nicky mysteriously reassures them.
After a few minutes, Celine, Simon and Nicky are now driving their way to the Montecarlo Farm.
"Tell me... Are you and Nick a couple?" Sally interrogated.
"Of course not! We're just friends!" Celine quickly answers.
"Okay, then. I'll have a chance with him." Sally excitedly announced.
"Go for it, girl. Goodluck." Celine sarcastically said in return...

Nick is helplessly standing infront of the gate of his grandparent's ancestral house. He is currently talking to his father over the mobile phone.
"Grandma and Grandpa is there in the city ?You're kidding,right?" Nick asks in disbelief, while shivering in cold.
"Well, they wanted to surprise us so they secretly made a trip to the big city." his father explained from the other line.
"Well, if that's the case, I'll go back to the city tomorrow. And don't worry about me, I'll be staying in my friend's house for the meantime. Say hi to grandpa and grandma for me, okay?"
Once the call ended, Nick stares at the snow which is falling non-stop.
"It's time to visit an friend and enjoy a cup of tea!" he murmured, while walking away...

At the Montecarlo Farm. 
"I'm finally home again, at last." Celine happily whispered to herself, as she finally step a foot inside their family mansion.
She dreamily roamed her eyes around the house where she grew and , and she's so happy because nothing has changed. She feels like being a child again...
"Celine, dear. Dinner is ready!"
Celine's mother, Celeste Montecarlo, calls for her.
"Okay, Mom!" she answers back, and then she quickly went towards the dining room.
Her eyes sparkled with so much excitement when she saw all of her favorite dishes prepared by her mother on the table.
"What are you waiting for, dear? Let's eat!" her father, Nathaniel Montecarlo, smilingly stated.
After saying a prayer of Grace, the three of them finally started eating together as a family again.
They are already enjoying their dinner while chatting, when one of the house helper suddenly approaches Mrs. Montecarlo. 
"Madam, someone is looking for Celine." the helper informs them.
"Are you expecting any guest, sweetie?" Celeste curiously asks her daughter.
"No..." Celine shook her head in return.
"Did they tell you any name?" Nathaniel asks the helper again, while getting more interested about the mysterious guest.
"The young man introduced himself as Nick, and he said that he is Celine's friend in the city." the helper spoke again.
Celine almost spit on her drink when she heard Nick's name.
"What the heck is he doing here?" she unbelievably wondered aloud.
Both of Celine's parents are now looking at her, while giving her a knowing smile...

Few moments later. 
"I must say that your cooking deserves a Michelin star, Mrs. Montecarlo. Celine is very lucky to have a mother like you..." Nick praises Mrs. Montecarlo's cooking.
"Oh, thank you, Nick. We're also glad that Celine have a friend like you... Right, darling?" Celeste said to her husband.
"I couldn't agree more. You should eat some. more, Nick!" Nathaniel encourages his daughter's friend.
"Yes, Sir! Thank you very much!" Nick smilingly thanked Mr. and Mrs. Montecarlo, as he continued eating with so much gusto.
After eating dinner, Celine's father and mother invited to have a cup if coffee while chatting.
"Oh wow, so you and our daughter are on the same musical play?" Mrs. Montecarlo asked.
"Yes, Mrs. Montecarlo. Celine here is the only female lead, and we're glad that she feels comfortable working with dour boys..." Nick explains the dynamics if their musical play.
"Oh, really? That's sounds interesting!" Celeste nodded in return.
Celine is now getting bored and awkward with their conversation, so she decided to change the subject.
"Look at the time! It's getting late now... Aren't you going back home, Nick?" she decided to ask him.
"Did you forget what he said awhile ago? Nick can't go inside their ancestral house because it's locked, and his grandparents are both in the main city. We'll invite her to have a sleepover here." Mrs. Montecarlo informs her daughter.
And before Celine good protest, Nathaniel agrees with the idea.
"Thank you and I apologize for causing to much trouble on you already. But I'm going to accept your invitation!" Nick happily accepted. 
"You're very much welcome, son. Our daughter's friends are also considered as our friends." Nathaniel enunciated.
"I can't thank you both enough, Mr and Mrs. Montecarlo." Nick sincerely said.
"Make yourself at home, Nick." this time, it was her mother.
Meanwhile, Celine secretly rolls her eyes heavenward when she heard her parents welcoming Nick.
"What is he planning to do?" she asked to herself...
