The next day. Only two weeks before the Gala Night starts, Director Alford called for a meeting. It was obvious that all of the cast members are under real pressure now. "We're almost at the end of the race, and now we're going to work harder that before. But first, let me give you a good news." the Director announced, as he unrolls a medium-sized poster. All of the cast lets out a gasp of surprise and excitement. It was their official poster for the musical play, and it looks absolutely impressive and amazing! "We're also sending the tickets at the participating outlets. We really have to give our best shot. But for the meantime, guys.We need to put up these posters around the area. And be sure to ask permission to the authorized person before putting up the posters. Is that clear?" the old director asked for everyone's approval. "Yes, sir!" everyone said in unison. "Celine, do you want to pair up with me?" Justin asked her with a smile. "Sure!" Celine smiles back, as she's really excited for their posters. Celine and Justin happily walks together, as they get ready for work... =============================== "Okay, that should do it!" Justin said, as they finally puts up their poster at the bulletin of a Homeowner's association. "Thank you so much for giving us permission to put posters on your bulletin board, Sir." Celine politely thanks the President of the Association. "You're all welcome. By the way, I'm looking forward on watching your Musical Play." the old man smilingly stated. After a few more chats, Celine and Justin finally said their goodbyes. "We're finally down to the last one!" Celine chirped at Justin. "That was quick, isn't it?" Justin happily responded. Meanwhile, someone is watching them secretly from afar, without them knowing. And it was Drew.
============================ Half-an-hour later.... "Why do we have to do this as well?!" Nick whined, while doing the painting work for their stage designs. "---And why do you keep on complaining?Your hands should do the work.not your big mouth!" Director Alford yelled at him. "Yes, sir!" Nick replies, like someone in a military camp. Nick, Gale, Justin and Celine secretly watches the old director talking to Drew and Nate. They can feel the animosity between Drew and Nate. "I smell trouble." muttered Nick. "The devil is planning something again." Justin wondered aloud. "Guys, let's forget about them and let's just keep on working. We still have so many things to do..." Gale reminded all of them. Meanwhile, Celine is in deep thought while doing her own work. Why does it look like something happened between Nate and Drew and they couldn't talk about it? She's becoming more and more curious about their history... ================================== At the center stage. The rest of the cast are now doing costume, lights and stage rehearsals. Drew is standing at the middle of the stage. He closed his eyes for a brief moment as the spotlight momentarily blinded his vision. After a few seconds, he was able to adjust to it. "Okay, Nate. I think the lights are good to go. You can switch it off now." commanded director Alford. Nate is currently at the Control Room checking all the stage lights and other technicalities. He followed the old director's order. He switches off the spotlight, and the stage is dark again. "---Nate, could you move the light to the upper left ceiling?" the Director instructed Nate again. Nate willingly obliged, and did what he was instructed to do. Different neon lights started to move around. Different colors were dancing at the stage. The director observed the light's movements for a few seconds, then he spoke again. "Alright, you can switch it off now, Nate." Inside the Control Room, Nate pressed a certain button, but it didn't stop. "What are you doing, Nate? I said stop the lights!" the old man anxiously reprimanded, while giving hand signals towards Nate. "But I already pressed the button!" Nate exclaimed, while panicking. "W-What did you say?" asked the shocked old man, and he knew that something is terribly wrong... "D-Don't tell me---!" Nate lets out a nervous gasp, when he realized something. Drew is in imminent danger. "Drew, get the hell out of there!" Nate tries to give him a warning. Director Alford and Nate watches in horror as the falling debris is about to hit Drew. "Drew!" Nate calls out for him... ============================= The other casts on the backstage stopped talking and looked at each other as they heard a terrifying sound. "W-What was that?" Celine breathlessly asked. "No idea." Nick answered. "The sound came from the stage!" Justin informs them. "Let's go find out." Gale told everyone. "What on earth could've happened?" Celine wondered aloud. All of the went to the stage to see what was the commotion... =========================== The incident caused a minor damage, but the Director and Nate quickly went towards Drew at the middle of the stage. "Drew, are you alright?" Director Alford exclaimed, while holding Drew's shoulders. Drew still looks so shocked, and he was unable to speak. "Talk to us, Drew!" Nate worriedly shouted. Drew snaps his head up, as soon as he recovers from shock. "YOU DAMN BASTARD!" he suddenly hollered, as he attacks Nate. "What the hell Drew?!" Nate yells back, while looking confused. "Don't give me that innocent look, Nate! You can't fool me! You purposely did it so that you can take the main role!" Drew screams again in fury. His hands grasps Nate's collar. "Stop it you two!" Director Alford roars at them. ============================= Celine, Nick, Gale and Justin was in big shock when they finally reached the stared. They stared in shock when they saw everything... The debris scattered on the floor, and the brawl between Drew and Nate. "What's going on, Nate?" Gale asked them, in a confused manner. "As you can see, we have a problem here. And what are you standing there for? Help me with these two!" Director snapped at us. Nick and Gale quickly went out to help, while Justin stayed with Celine. "Just like what happened before..." Justin whispered, in a weary tone. "What do you mean, Justin?" Celine curiously asks him. Justin lets out a deep breath, before he speaks again. "You'll know when the right time comes, Celine." Celine nodded in return, as she wants to respect Justin's silence...
