FINALLY, the Championship game between Waldorf High and St.Charles Highschool is finally over.
The basketball court is almost empty, except for some members of the basketball team.
Michaela is sad because their school did not get the Championship title. Their rival, St. Charles High, won in the end.
She's overwhelmed with so much emotions right now. This is the day she has been waiting for the most. This is the day she will confess his true feelings to someone that she has secretly loved for a long time.
"Goodluck with your confession today, Michaela. Don't you dare chicken out on a the last minute, okay?"
Michaela snaps out from her reverie when she heard Sarah's voice behind her.
Sarah's been her bestfriend for a year already. They started being best of friends during their freshmen year, up until their current sophomore year...
"I'm actually nervous right now, Sarah." admitted Michaela.
"You can do it. This is the right time for you to tell Daniel how you really feel about him. If you don't do it, you will never know how he feels about you. Summer vacation is coming soon, and I heard he'll be in another place to spend his vacation. You have to seize this opportunity to confess to him!" Sarah persuaded her.
"Come to think of it, you've got a point. It's now or never." Michaela nodded in approval.
"Alright then. What are you waiting for? I saw Daniel alone in the locker room. I think he's really sad about our team's defeat. You should go and confess to him." Sarah suggested, while patting Michaela's shoulder.
"Thanks, Sarah."
After a few minutes, Michaela is now making her way towards the locker room...

When Michaela finally reached her destination, she saw that the locker room door was open. She took a peek inside, and she immediately saw Daniel putting his stuff inside his bag.
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath to calm herself.
"This is the perfect timing you've been waiting for, Michaela. You need to confess your feelings to him." she tries to encourage herself.
A few seconds later, she knocks on the door and enters the room. Her heart is beating so fast that she's having a hard time to breathe.
Daniel immediately looks at her when he felt his presence.
"Oh, hi there, Michaela? What are you doing here?" greeted Daniel.
"Well, I just want to say hello. And I'm sorry about the Championship game. But we all know that each member did their best, and we're really proud of you, guys." Michaela sincerely stated.
"Well, at least we never gave up until the end. Thank you for supporting us." Daniel stated.
Michaela clears her throat before she decided to speak again.
Daniel frowned in return, while looking at her.
"Are you all right, Michaela? Your whole face is red! Do you feel sick or something?"he suddenly asks her.
"You see, I've been feeling weird whenever I talk to you or whenever I'm near you. My heart is beating so fast, and I'm really having a hard time to breath." Michaela finally starts with her confession.
"What do you mean?" Paulo asked, as he's getting more and more confused.
"I-I'm in love with you, Daniel. Do you have feelings for me too?" Michael can hear the strong beating of her heart after she confesses her feelings to her friend.
Meanwhile, Daniel wasn't able speak because he's caught by surprise with Michaela's sudden love confession.
Yes, he loves Michaela, but not in a romantic way. He loves her as a friend, and just like a sibling. Nothing more, nothing less...

After a year... 
Michaela kept on looking at the wall clock inside the classroom where the College Entrance Exam is currently being held...
"Only five minutes left for you to finish your papers! If you're done checking your papers, you can pass them to me..." the female proctor announces.
Michaela silently panics when she heard the announcement, since she needs more time to finish her paper. Her anxious feeling went high the roof when she saw a guy passing his own paper. The man looks obviously smart, and he looked so serious...
She can now feel the pressure of finishing her exam paper, before time is up.
She quickly puts her attention back to her paper, and she started writing again... However, her pen is already out of ink. She immediately opened her pen case, but she cursed under her breath when she realizes that she bought the wrong case! She didn't bring the new case, and she brought the old case!
She groaned inwardly, while feeling frustrated.
She's almost at her wits' end when suddenly, someone had carefully put a pen on her table, without any sound.
When she snapped her head up, she could only see a guy's back, walking towards their proctor and he submitted his own testpaper. Afterwards, the mysterious guy walks out from the classroom, without even looking back.
Who could be that guy? She wanted to thank him for helping her, but she didn't even see his face, nor heard his voice. The only thing that she can remember is he's wearing a blue shirt, black pants, and a clean, white rubber shoes. Other than that, she doesn't have any other clue about his knight-and-shining armour!
Michaela's train of thoughts suddenly stopped in a halt when she heard their proctor's voice again.
"Five more minutes to finish your papers!" the female proctor reminded them again.
She snapped out from her reverie, and she fully focused her mind on finishing her papers...
She'll just have to look for that mysterious guy later...

After a few moments... 
As soon as Michaela finished answering her exam papers, she immediately submitted them to their proctor, and she hurriedly steps outside from the classroom to look for the guy who lent her the pen.
As she roams her eyes at the hallway, she couldn't see any trace of the guy who helped her. She then lets out a big sigh.
She's hoping that she will be able to see her knight and shining armour in the future, to thank him for helping her with exams...
