Chapter Fifty six
Faithfulness
Third Person POV.
Two men faced each other, one with a smile on his face and the other a frown and a gun in his hand.
“Uncle, it’s been a long time looking at you, you’ve healed perfectly. Have you found the one that did that to you?” asked Aaron with a fake smile.
“Aaron, I’ve seen you have been lingering around the house we had an operation in last month, your first mission. ” he said
“I don’t remember doing what you are saying but then which house are you talking about?” said Aaron.
“Don’t act naïve here, the woman informed me that she has been threatened to stop acting against her daughter and it’s only you and I that know about that operation. Am I right?” he asked.
Even though he was so much afraid, because he was armless, he decided to humble himself as much as he could.
“Uncle, you are right, I think there’s a leak in your gang and it’s time to infiltrate it. Who do you suspect? Ah that isn’t me right? I could never let you down. ‘Even though you are my biggest enemy. ’ he added in mind.
“Hahaha of course how could my own nephew betray me, it couldn’t happen. But I heard there’s this new gang in town, the leader calls himself, The Worst Enemy how archaic. ” said his uncle.
“Worst Enemy? Never heard of it, you know now I’ve been busy at school. ” said Aaron.
“What will that school give you in the future? I’ve saved enough to last you and my sister a lifetime. ” he said smirking.
“Well but she insists I complete school, but then, Uncle do you know what happened to my father?” asked Aaron.
“Why the sudden interest in that bastard? He left you and your mother for his mistress and that’s all you should know. Forget about him okay?” he said.
He nodded but thought, ‘I will definitely find the reason for his death. He couldn’t have killed himself after rushing for happiness. ’
“There’s a new assignment that I have assigned to you. The details are in this paper analyze it carefully and let me know your plans to carry it out after you are done. Do you have something to say to that?” said his uncle.
“What’s it about?” he asked.
“You will have to kill Sheila Sharon. ” he said frowning and looking at Aaron closely to see his reaction.
He shook in anger as his eyes blazed in fire but then he knew that it could be a trap to check his faithfulness so he quickly comported himself and asked,
“When should I carry this mission?”
“As soon as you can, you know there’s someone no that gang named Worst Enemy threatened me to not attack her but they didn’t say my men couldn’t. That little cock had the edge to threaten me. But he isn’t the aim right now when you are done we will go for him too. ” he said gritting his teeth.
“Okay I will take care of it now allow me to go. Mom might be looking for me. ” said Aaron.
“Okay go ahead. ” he said sneering.
He turned to go but his face scrunched in anger and wickedness.
“I will finish you before you get to Sheila, I promise you that. ’ he thought.
The man looked at his back with a frown and a sneer playing on his lips and said,
“Now or never, prove yourself and you will be spared but if you try anything silly I won’t hesitate to pull the trigger at you. Stupid bastard. ”
Sharon’s Mansion
He held her in his arms, took the medicine from her bag, opened her mouth and kept a pill in her mouth. Ben and his mom stood by the door looking over at them, Ben wanted to go inside but she held his hand, he looked back at her and she shook her head.
Three minutes later, she woke up and wanted to stretch but felt she wasn’t on her bed but in someone’s arms. She hurriedly got up but then saw King, she pointed at him surprised and asked,
“You how long have I known you? Why are you sitting on my bed?”
He hurriedly hugged her and she struggled to break free but he wouldn’t let her. He was afraid, they might know her ailment. They saw what was happening in another mindset and turned to go away.
“Bloody slut, she has no shame at all” her mother muttered to herself.
King, released her and looked at her then asked,
“how much do you remember? Do you recognize me?”
“Of course I do why wouldn’t I ? I was in your car yesterday but before that….” She was saying trying to recover.
“You don’t have to remember, it’s good that you have yesterday’s memory. You said you had somewhere to go today. ” he said.
“Yes I did, but why am I going to that place?” she asked.
“Where did you want to go?” he asked.
“Sharon’s group of Companies, that’s where I wanted to go today. ” she answered.
“Do you do feel any pain after recalling?” he asked worriedly.
“No I didn’t surprising right?” she asked.
“Yeah, do you remember what happened in the hospital?” he asked.
“Yes I do and I’m not feeling any pains. ” she said looking happy but he wasn’t the least happy.
“This is getting out of hands too hurriedly, I will have to act fast. Do you still want to go to the company?” he asked.
“Yes I do, I need to make my will. ” she said.
“Don’t be silly, you can make your will but don’t ever think of dying till you are old with me and our kids have their grandchildren. ” he said a little angry.
“Wow, that’s a long way forward but who says I want to spend the rest of my life with you?” she asked smiling.
“Will you marry me without proposing to you with a ring?” he asked.
“No and I’m not ready okay?” she answered.
“What if Aaron did? Would you?” he asked looking into her eyes.
She looked at him in shock speechless.
