The doctors said, I inherited it and from my analysis I knew it was from my mom. Hereditary diseases, I didn’t know it could ever happen to me. After all that I had being through it seems my God was saying it wasn’t over and it wasn’t enough. Maybe in my previous life’s I had committed too much wrongs and I didn’t want to leave the world without knowing anything about my life. That morning, I got angry at Kings insinuations but then apart from accepting Aaron’s proposal, I knew I had feelings for him. But I didn’t know Aaron as I knew King and I couldn’t just marry King because of gratitude. There was something else I felt for him, but I didn’t see that it was enough to tie the knots. And after marriage I didn’t want to still have someone else on my mind, so no rushing as I told myself. King waited for me to get ready to go to the company even though we were both angry with each other. He drove me to the company in total silence and not even peeping my way, he was so focused on the road I thought maybe there was something interesting on it. We got to the company and I got out, I turned to bid him goodbye but he was already driving away. ‘God, I pissed him off big time.’ I thought and my hand went to my lips and then at my cheek unconsciously. I saw what I was doing and sneered to my self. ‘It seems I am getting used to his closeness, am I longing for touch now?’ I thought then smiled. It was time to know who was the boss at my father’s company, so I put aside all my emotions took my bag with documents from my arm and kept it my hand. I looked up with all the courage I could master and walked through the door. I got to the receptionist and she hurriedly stood up, her eyes went from my her down to where her eyes could reach. She smiled and asked, “Miss, how may we help you today? Here for employment?” she asked. “Who employed you and how long have you been working here? ” I asked. She looked taken back but then said, “Miss, do you work here already?” I smirked and looked at her then said, “I’m Sheila Sharon please show me to my office. ” “You are what? Sheila? But I thought I heard Sheila was a crippled ugly looking girl who had no educational background. ” she said in confusion. “You heard that from who?” I asked irritated. “I’m sorry Miss but it was Mr’s Sharon that made that point. ” She said. “Okay, so where is my mother’s office when she comes here?” I asked. “Please allow me to show you. ” she said. “Don’t bother yourself, call an executive meeting for me, I will wait here for them. They might not believe me as you are, so tell them they must meet a Sharon here in five minutes. ” I told her. She nodded and did went to work, I got to the visitors area and sat down. It was thirty minutes and still no one had appeared as an executive in front of me. I called the receptionist and asked her the reason for them being late and she said they were in a meeting with the assistant managing director. I stood up and said, “Please take me there. ” She nodded and led the way, we got to the elevator and I asked her, “Why are you helping me without I giving you any evidence to prove myself?” I asked wondering. She shook her head and said, “I’ve seen pictures of the younger Mrs Sharon and there’s almost no difference between you both. And also no one has had the courage to come here to claim of being Miss Sharon. ” she said, it seems she had analyzed the whole situation. “Okay, I looked more like my mother when she was young, where are these pictures?” I asked. “You will find them in her office and also in the companies safe. ” she said. “OK thanks for not doubting me. ” I said to her. “You are welcome Miss. ” she said. “Call me Sheila. ” I said smiling. “Okay Sheila. ” she said smiling. We out of the elevator and headed for the meeting, I got a little nervous but I still went on in. No matter what, I had to be bold to face them. I was my parents child, they couldn’t do anything to me. They all turned to look at me, but then suddenly got up. “Mrs Sharon!” they greeted together. ‘Damn it seems I really look like my mother ’ I thought. I waved my hand at them and said, I am Sheila not Paulina she’s my mom. Good morning gentleman! They looked at each other in confusion, the one that sat on the head chair got up and pulled the chair.
