Chapter sixty eight
My Love?
He looked at them surprised as they slapped their hands together joyously, then he pulled the window down once again and pushed their heads to look out the window. But then they all saw so many documents and tapes, recorders and memory cards but not Aaron instead they saw them hand over some of the tapes and handed them to the police. They looked at each other and whispered together,
“Is that all evidence against him?”
Then they all shook their head disbelieving then King told the driver to drive them to the hospital. But then as soon as he started the engine, King got a call from the police so he asked the driver to stop. His expression changed crucially as he got out of the car and made his way to the station. Sheila and Lily looked at each other and was getting down with him but, he shook his head to tell them to stop.
He walked into the station with a clenched fist and as soon as he got inside, he asked,
Where is the disc?
They directed him to a room with a laptop on a table and a chair beside it and a disc laid beside the laptop. A tear dropped from one of his eyes and he hurriedly cleaned it.
He walked towards the table slowly every step heavier than the other and finally sat on the chair, the laptop was on and he took the disc labelled President and loaded it on the laptop.
A scene played in front of his eyes and with every sound that escaped it, a tear dropped from his eyes. It continued till the last sound such stated,
‘You are a man, never cry for anything, be strong and humble and you will rule and conquer every obstacle. ’
‘Yes dad, I won’t ever cry. ’
‘Good boy. ’
‘What a great show, now enjoy the rest of it. ’
Pah!!! Pah!!! And then it ended.
Then another followed and it was when he was being sold to the people of the black market. The disc stopped playing and he still sat there looking at the laptop as the life after that played in his eyes but then no tears came again. He stood up started punching the wall in the room with all his strength, his fist started bleeding but neither a cry nor shout came from his lips. After a while, he stopped with blood falling from his fist and made his way out of the room, the police looked at him expectantly when he pronounced,
“No one but the judge for the case should watch that disc is that clear? And I want that man alive in that prison cell. Treat him well by giving him a one-course meal every day and give him medication only when he is on the brink of death. Write that down, that’s my statement to the court. ”
The police looked at his fist and nodded to his statement then he made his way back to the car still with clenched fists. He entered the car and relaxed into the seat with closed eyes and gave out a loud sigh. He opened his eyes and four beautiful eyes stared at him worriedly then he immediately hid his hands behind his back but they held them and started blowing air on it. He looked at them and sighed once again but this time a smile on his face and whispered,
“At least I have you both. ”
Third Person POV.
The woman continued her story not knowing that the lady had left and had been replaced by the police and had recorded everything she had said so she finally concluded,
“So I killed them and did the plastic surgery and went to Mrs Sharon’s house. ”
After she was done, she realized that everywhere was quiet, she then called out to the lady,
“Eva, are you that shocked of my story that you have become mute?”
Then a male voice sounded beside her,
“Of course I have become mute but then have you forgotten how you his me in my bedroom and lied to my children that I was still not back from going abroad?”
She got up and hurriedly rushed out of the cubicle and saw that, she had been surrounded and Eva had been handcuffed. But the receptionist was then dressed as one of the police men and stood pointing a gun at her. Then she understood that everything was already in the hands of the police and Mr Sharon.
Mr. Sharon came out of the cubicle and greeted,
“Long time no see Mrs Sharon, how have you being? After taking all that you could from my bank, why did you have to burn down my house too? How did my family offend you? And why did you want to kill my daughter?”
When she saw that there was no way out of what she had gotten herself into, she sneered and replied,
“No, you haven’t wronged me, its just that I was at the right place at the right time, don’t you think? You gave all that you owned to your daughter and had left poor Ben and his mother out of your property. And that was how I got your son to be my tomboy, and surprisingly, he is so good in bed than you. I had you for once but it was as great as the first time of your son. ”
Then someone entered the room and said,
“I have never been your tomboy as you thought and I had never had those drinks you brought to my room. You know how to do plastic surgery right? I also know how to do that so meet….”
Another person entered and he looked as the same as the one who entered before, she stood there with her mouth gaped and asked,
“Which of you is Ben?”
Then one answered,
“Oh, don’t worry I am and this person you see here is your lover who wanted to marry you but you left him behind for money. Which landed you in prostitution. ”
The other guy stepped forward and now in his real voice called,
“My Juliet, your Romeo has never left you, I had been there for you always as I promised. Now that you know I could have fulfilled my promise, I am not bound by it anymore so bye bye. ”
He said and turned and left the room, she looked at his retrieving back and called after him,
“Calvin, Calvin!!Calvin!! my love?”
But he didn’t stop for a second till he disappeared from her eyes. She knelt on the floor begrudgingly and tears poured from her eyes then she started shouting, and continued till the police took her away.
 They also took Eva with them for colluding with a criminal to destroy someone’s image and was still harbouring her instead of handing her to to the police when she contacted her.
Juliet Scott later confessed all her crimes including hiring people to come and kill Sheila but ended up raping her and also giving her a medication that would make her forget her past as she grew. She landed her into having a brain turmoil, she also said she had stolen billions from Mr Sharon and had burnt down their house. The court ended up sentencing her to life imprisonment, Aaron was sentenced to thirty years improvement for assisted murder and rape and threats and so on. Kelvin was also sentenced to life imprisonment and hard labour for his numerous crimes. And Eva was sentenced to ten years imprisonment for all the crimes she had committed, even though her father and Sam her brother tried all they could to reduce her sentence, it didn’t work for them.
