Chapter Sixty nine
Love Again- The End
Two years later.
A live concert played with millions of people cheering the people on stage dancing, he danced with his team to several songs. Then the rest left him on the stage and he started dancing to the song of( Dua lipa’s Love Again. )
And among the crowd and seated on their seats were Lily and Sheila they held their hands together and cheered for king who was on the stage. No one knew who they were and didn’t pay them any attention. After the song ended suddenly a picture was displayed on the curtain behind him and the host brought him a microphone. He then spoke,
“If anyone has seen this lady among the crowd, please lead her to the stage for me. ”
Sheila saw what he had done and held Lily’s hand tightly and whispered into her ear,
“Lily, let’s just get out of here, God I will hit King in the balls when I get him one on one, how could he do this to me?”
Lily laughed and also told her to bring her ear for her, she did and she also whispered,
“Did you have to say all that into my ear? Remember my age mom, now get up and go, look around you, everyone is staring at us. ”
Sheila finally looked and truthfully, everyone around them was staring at them, she then heard whispers so she shyly looked down and kept her fingers together nervously. The headlights were on her and she was displayed on the screen so all her actions were seen by everyone at the concert and by the people watching the live show.
Unknowingly to them, while their attention was on her, King pushed through the crowd and those who saw this whispered to each other.
He got to where she was seated and saw her nervous expression, he was also sweating so he took a handkerchief from his pocket and cleaned his face. He put it back in and removed a box, still Sheila had no idea what was happening till he got down on his knees and held her hands. She saw him and what he was doing and gasped out of shock,
“What are you doing?”
King smiled nervously and asked,
“Miss Sheila Sharon you might not remember our first meeting and how we became friends, which turned into us being lovers and back to strangers and back to friends again then back to lovers even though you had insisted you are too young for that…”
Everyone laughed to his statement and he continued now more seriously,
“We have gone through all these circle but we had never been too far from each other and you still remembered me even after several years after not meeting each other. And that too after loosing all your memories about your life and recognizing me for the past and the present, I believe that you were my first love and will be my last so Sheila, will you…”
Then she shouted,
“Yes… of course what were you thinking. ”
She threw herself into his arms and cried with laughter, he pulled her from his arms and their lips landed together they had forgotten that they were not alone until later..
They like kissed forever, their tongues dangling in each other’s mouths. Then a sudden applause and cheers from the people broke them from each other, as they put their heads together and breathed each other in. King then remembered that he hadn’t put the ring on her finger after all so he pulled back and showed her the ring. She nodded and he pushed the ring on her finger. More cheers came from the people and Sheila hid her head in his chest.
Lily felt left out and pinched her father on his arm and asked,
“So you have left me out when I was the one that brought in all the ideas?”
The people looked on as he took his daughter in his arms and shouted through the microphone,
“And this is my lovely daughter as beautiful and fragrant as her name Lily. ”
The people cheered them as they walked out of the room with his daughter in his arms and his wife to be beside him holding on to her hand tightly.
As they moved, Sheila was curious about something and asked,
“So you were really the boy I met at the ghetto when I came to visit my friend from school? And you are the boy that helped me and my friend when we were about to get beat up?”
King laughed and said,
“It seems you remember a lot about that boy, was he your first love?”
Sheila smiled and nodded shyly and said,
“I will surely name my son after that boy one day, he was my true hero and is still my hero. How wonderful!!!. ”
Two people sat in front of their television as they watched the telecast of the show and smiled beautifully. A child played on the carpet on the floor in front of them as they enjoyed the show.
The lady took the man’s hand and kissed him, then she whispered,
“Finally, they are together, I am so happy for them Lucky. ”
Lucky nodded and took the child from floor to his laps and pegged her on cheek and whispered back,
“And we are one happy family, Lucky, Lydia and Lucia!!!”
