After our day off, Wyatt dropped me in the hospital since he and Jaxon have to go to a different hospital. "Take care, love. See you later." I said to him and kissed his cheeks. "Mahal na mahal kita." I said and chuckled before I went out of his car. "Good morning, Nurse Liza. Are you going to the conference too?"
"Good morning, Dr. Solis. Yes, I need to go. Kailangan ko pang bumiyahe." Nurse Liza said so I stopped him since Wyatt and her are going to the same place and he's still here. "I'll be late, Dr. Solis." She said as I knocked on Wyatt's window which he opened.
"Dr. Hudgens, take Nurse Liza with you. You guys are going to the same place." I said to him and he looked at Nurse Liza before looking at me. "She'll be commuting so it's better if you guys go there together." I said and he nodded.
"Back seat, Graciella." He said when I'm about to open the door of the passenger seat. "Can you wait, Nurse Liza?" He asked but he didn't wait for an answer and left his car then went to me. "Love, is this fine with you?" He asked as he dragged me with him.
"Of course, kung hindi edi hindi ko sana siya pinasabay sayo." I answered him and he sighed. "Drive safely, Wyatt."
"Goodluck with your surgeries. I'll fetch you later." He said and took a glance at his car. "Jaxon, go with me. I'll drive." He said, which made me look behind me. That's new. "I'll see you later, love. I love you." He said and kissed me then walked away with Jaxon. He and Jaxon fought as they walked to his car and in the end Jaxon went in a different direction and Wyatt glanced at me before riding his car.
When I arrived at my office my phone rang, which I quickly answered. "Why are you calling? Focus on driving, love." I said to Wyatt and he chuckled.
"I can drive while talking to you, love." He said and sighed. "I miss you already." He said which made me chuckle.
"Wyatt, ilang minuto pa lang nung naghiwalay tayo saka why not talk to Nurse Liza?" I asked him and he said 'hell no' firmly. "Chastille. You and her are co-workers."
"It's still a no, my love." He said which made me chuckle. "I shouldn't have attended this conference. Mag kasama sana tayo ngayon."
"Chastille, clingy ha. Kala ko ba lie low?" I asked and he chuckled.
"Lowkey relationship, love." He said and chuckled. "You're my lowkey fiance." He said which made me chuckle.
"You're engaged already, Chase?" Nurse Liza said which made me stop chuckling. I didn't know that they're close. "You and Dr. Solis are friends right? I often see you guys in each other's office. Buti hindi nagagalit fiance mo." She added, which made me cough.
"My Riella is cool with it." Wyatt said after a long silence. "I'll fetch Gracie later, love." He said, which made me chuckle. "You're excited to meet her again huh."
"Yeah, I'm excited to meet myself." I said and he chuckled.
"Don't you have surgery at 9? It's already 8:45, have you finished reading already?" He said which made my eyes widen but remember that I read it last night and on my way to the hospital. "Nevermind you read it a while ago. Did I make you panic?"
"Kind of." I answered her and chuckled. "Sige na, love. Talk to Nurse Liza. She's addressing you by your name so you guys might be close."
"We aren't." He denied firmly. "I'll fetch you later. See you later, love. I love you so much."
"Hmm. Take care, love. I'll see you later. Drive safely. I love you." I said to him before dropping the call. "Come in." I said when someone knocked on my door.
"You let Nurse Liza go with Chase? Pia asked so I nodded. "What time are you free?"
"Around lunch time since my next operation will be around 3." I answered her as she sat on the sofa. "Why are you here?"
"To discuss co-surgery." She said and started giving me details. "Anyway, we should go." She said so we stood up and walked out of my office. "Let's eat lunch together then can you go with me for a check up?"
"I can, Pia." I answered her. When we finished our co-surgery. I took a brief rest and proceeded with another surgery that finished after an hour. When I got back to my office, Pia was already waiting for me. "Did you wait for a long time?"
"Not really. Let's go." She said as I removed my white coat. "Should we eat first or go to the Obgyn?" She asked so I let her decide.
We went to Ate Cara and Ate Rabia's clinic where they checked her. Pia is 4 weeks pregnant. Then, we ate at a restaurant she picked since she's craving it before we went back to the hospital.
My phone rang when I got to my office, which I quickly answered. "What happened to your fiance? He looks pissed since he got here." Grant said which shook me. Why would he be pissed? "Are you guys fine?"
"We're fine. I'll talk to him about that later." I said to him and I heard him call Wyatt. "Who am I speaking to on the phone?"
"Me." Wyatt answered shortly. "Did you eat already?" He asked so I said 'yes'. "I'm going back there. I don't need to be here anymore."
"Alright. Drive safely. I'll be waiting, love." I said to him and I heard him and Grant talking before he dropped the call. I changed into my scrubs since I have several surgeries to perform. I wasn't able to wait for Wyatt because I needed to go to the OR. When I got out of the OR it's already night so I rushed to my office. "Nurse Liza, what are you doing here?" I asked when I arrived at my office to see Nurse Liza looking at Wyatt who's sleeping.
"Uh…I need to give these documents to you." Nurse Liza said and handed me papers. "I'll get going." She said and walked away like she's getting chased by something so I didn't have a chance to thank her.
"It took you so long to arrive." Wyatt said which made me jump. "I was waiting for you." He said and he looked so pissed.
"You're awake the whole time?" I asked and he nodded. "Why are you glaring at the door?" I asked him and he shook his head. "Do you want to go home? I'll drive us home."
"No, I can drive us home. You just got out of your operation." He said so I nodded. "Change your clothes, Graciella." He said and stood up. "I'll drive you to your house." He said as he signaled me to stay quiet which made me glare at him. What the hell is he doing?
He went to different sides of my office to get something but I didn't get to see what it was since he pocketed it. "Where are you going?" I asked him when he walked out of my office without saying anything but he signaled me to wait so I just sat on my chair.
"Let's go, love." He said when he came back. He still looked pissed but I can say that he's not pissed at me. "I'm using Grant's car. He took my car somewhere so we'll go straight to your house." He said as he got my bag from me and carried it.
Like what he said, we went straight to my parents house. We even stayed the night there because Grant didn't come home last night. He refused to kiss me the whole night, which is surprising. When I woke up the next day Wyatt wasn't beside me anymore so I went downstairs to see him and Grant talking seriously. "What are you guys talking about? You guys look so serious." I said to them,
"He's asking for love advice. You should take a shower, love." He said so I nodded and went back to my room. When I went down again breakfast was served and Grant was nowhere to be seen. "Let's eat, love. We still need to go to work. We'll be using your car since Grant used my car again."
Today was a busy day since there's a road accident. It was a big one. We did some emergency operations and our scheduled operation. We didn't go to our home but instead at his parents house.
That goes for a month. Naikot na ata namin bahay ng mga relatives namin but I didn't ask why. We sometimes let Nurse Liza ride with us since we're on the same way but not today because we went home. When we got home we didn't have a maid anymore and Wyatt's car wasn't there. "Grant is still using your car?" I asked him and he shook his head. "Then where is it?"
"Sold." He answered me and sighed. "What do you want for dinner?" He asked, completely changing the topic so I just nodded and walked to our bathroom. I took a dip in our hot tub and stayed there for a while. The past weeks have been stressful for me. "Graciella, let's eat." I heard Wyatt outside the door but I didn't mind him. I don't have an appetite.
I waited for the door to open but it didn't so I closed my eyes and just relaxed myself. I waited for Wyatt but he didn't talk again, which made me sighed. "Who's there?" I asked when I heard the door open. I didn't bother to open my eyes because it's so heavy. "I'm asking who's there." I said and opened my eyes to see Wyatt holding a tray of food.
"Let's eat." He said as he sat on the floor. "Are you okay?" He asked so I nodded. He was feeding me so I let him be. "I want to tell you something."
"I know. What is it?" I asked, whenever he's being this clingy he always has something to say. "You did something for the past month. What is it?"
"I didn't do anything. I just let you feel other's company. Someone said that I might be caging you at nasasakal ka na." He said and sighed. "Someone has also confessed her love to me at our workplace." He said as his eyes looked directly to my face.
"Love, anong nasasakal? Do I act like I'm? Do I make you feel that I'm?" I asked and he shook his head. "Don't be bothered by someone so much, love. And if someone ever told you anything like that tell me because we wasted a month. Imbis na may quality time tayo together we spent it with everyone. Sa kagustuhan mong maramdaman ko yung company ng iba, ikaw yung nasasakal, Wyatt." I said and sighed. I suddenly felt guilty because I thought he wanted it.
"It's fine, love. I'll do anything for you." He said, which made me sighed again. "Gracie, you know that I'm willing to do anything for you."
"Yeah, you are. And I just realize that it's not really healthy, Wyatt." I said to him and he looked away. "I also realize that I'm too dependent on you, love. And you compromised a lot. I'm so sorry."
"Parang hindi naman ako nasanay, love. You know that I've been doing this since we were kids." He said, "you aren't dependent on me, Graciella."
"I am dependent on you, Wyatt. I don't even have a day to do things on my own because I always want you by my side. Maybe it's not you who's suffocating me. Maybe it's you who's getting suffocated, Chastille." I said and he didn't say anything and just shook his head. "I'll take my car tomorrow, Chase. And you take your big bike since you sold your car. Let's try not to depend on each other even for a short time. Even just at work."
"I think I can work with the setup." He said then sighted. "One more thing, Graciella." He said and sighed as he put the tray down. "That day, when the conference happened, you let Nurse Liza go with me. Graciella, she kissed me." He said and I felt my world stop. "She suddenly kissed me, Graciella."
