It's been a week since Wyatt and I broke up. We're still living under the same roof but we sleep in different rooms. None of us took the master bedroom.
"I'm going to stay at my parent's house for the meantime, Wyatt. Mom said that our house is so quiet so I'll stay there." I said to him, we're at the parking lot of the hospital. "Can you bring me there?"
"Yeah." He said then we entered the car. He bought a new car and he insisted on taking me to work everyday. "The house will be empty without you. I'll go home too. Mom always told me that she missed me so much."
"Hmm. Alright. The house will be fine without us there." I said to him and he nodded. "I'll tell mom to stop preparing for the wedding."
"And how would you explain why?" He asked so I shrugged my shoulders. "I'll say it, Gracie. I'll ask them to stop preparing for the wedding in the meantime." He said so I nodded.
He just dropped me off at my parents house since no one was there. I took a rest in my room and didn't bother to eat dinner. When I woke up the next day I ate breakfast with Mom and Dad. Grant already went back to California since he had his work waiting for him.
"Where's Chase?" Dad asked, Mom also asked the same thing.
"At their house. Tita missed him." I answered Dad and he nodded.
"We plan on going to their house. Do you want to come?" Mom asked so I shook my head.
"No, Mom. I'll just take a rest for today, then I'll visit Nana and Grandpa tomorrow. They rarely show up these days." I answered her.
"They're old already. Hirap na sa paglalakad." Dad said and chuckled. "Mom will surely be happy when you visit them with Chase tomorrow."
After eating I went back to my room then the next day I did visit our grandparents alone but it turned out Tita told Wyatt to visit them and we arrived at the same time so it looks like we went there together. They asked about the details of our wedding but I can't really answer so Wyatt did all of it.
"Let Chase drive for the two of you. Gabi na Reese." Nana Barbara said so I just agree. "We'll just send someone to drive your car."
We bid them goodbye before we left. "How is it so far?" Wyatt asked,
"Good. How about yours?"
"Also good but it's so boring." He said, which I agreed. "You have 4 surgeries the day after tomorrow. Can you do it? You can pass the other to me."
"Pass my ass. You have 5 surgeries so you better shut up." I said to him and he chuckled. "How's your heart?"
"Still beating." He said which made me glare at him. "I'm telling you the truth. But honestly It's still like the last time but not that strong." He said so I nodded. "Do you want to give us another try, Graciella? We can start over."
"Tell that to me when you aren't attracted to Liza anymore." I said to him and chuckled. "Ang ganda ko na nito tapos naaattract ka pa sa iba." I said jokingly and chuckled. "I'm just joking, Wyatt. But to tell you, we can start over but what you feel matters." I said and smiled at him. "Why are you driving in different directions? Are we going home?"
"I missed our home." He said so I nodded. "You should take the master bedroom tonight. I know you aren't used to the guest room."
"I can stay in the guest room or we both can stay in the master bedroom. I'll sleep in the hidden bed in our room." I said to him and in the end we slept on our bed, beside each other. When I woke up I couldn't help but to stare at him. I miss waking up beside him. Everytime Wyatt and I are on a day off we don't eat breakfast and just sleep more and that's what I did. I slept again.
After our day off we proceeded with our own lives at the hospital and after my duty I went to my parent's house again. Wyatt and I talked about this already. I did that for a week before Mom got suspicious of me, even Tita started calling me asking if Wyatt and I fought.
"Graciella. Do you want me to tell them the truth?" Wyatt asked and I shook my head. "Let's just go home so they won't ask anymore."
"No. You might get confused about your feelings when we live together again. It's better for you to figure out your feelings without you seeing me at home." I said to him and he chuckled. "I'm serious, Wyatt."
"Let's start over again, Graciella. You already gave me enough time." He said to me which made me look away. "Let's try it again. This time it'll work, Graciella." He said confidently. "Let's eat out later. I need to go to OR. I'll see you later." He said and even waved at me before going out of my office.
I have surgery too so I went to the OR. My scheduled surgeries were in a row so I was already tired after it. But lucky me, there's an emergency surgery and I'm the only one available.
I went straight to my parents house after the surgery since it finished at 12 am. I silenced my phone and locked my room so my sleep won't be disturbed.
The next day, I woke up because of the noise coming from the door. Someone was knocking so I went out of the bed and opened it. "Chase is here. He's been waiting for you. Why did you silence your phone?" Mom asked which made me look at her back and see Wyatt there. "Maiwan ko na kayo." She said before walking away.
"You may come in and please close the door." I said and went back to my bed. I don't have the energy to talk and I'm still sleepy.
"Did you eat already? It's already 3 in the afternoon." He asked so I shook my head. "What do you want to eat? I'll order for you."
"Nothing. I'm going back to sleep." I said and closed my eyes and I heard him sighed. I tried to go back to sleep but I couldn't. I felt my bed move and then I felt someone kiss my forehead before laying beside me and hugging me. My system woke up because of what he did but I didn't open my eyes.
"I missed you a lot. I'm sorry for taking so long in finding my way back to you, love. I love you." He whispered and kissed my forehead again and I can't help but cry. After a long time I heard him say it again. He doesn't say something he doesn't mean so I'm so sure that he means it. "I thought you went back to sleep. Don't cry, love." He said as he wiped the tears that escaped my closed eyes. I didn't say anything but I hugged him as tight as I could and buried my face on his chest. I cried myself there until I fell asleep again.
"Do you want to eat, Chase? You haven't eaten anything yet. Hindi pa kakain 'yan, masarap pa ang tulog." I heard my mom but I didn't mind her and just pressed my face on Wyatt's chest.
"I'll wait for Gracie, Tita. We'll eat together." I heard Wyatt and I felt hungry so I moved away and opened my eyes. "Are you still sleepy? You can sleep more."
"I'm hungry. Let's eat." I said to him and took a seat. "Mom, Good afternoon."
"It's already evening, my love." Wyatt said as he also sat down. "Shall we eat with them?" He asked so I nodded. We eat dinner with them.
"Are you guys going home or you guys will stay here?" Dad asked and Wyatt looked at me. Waiting for my decision.
"Yes, dad. Wyatt and I have a lot to talk about and we have work tomorrow." I answered Dad and they nodded. "I'll visit again soon."
"About the wedding. We need your decisions, Reese." Mom said so I listened to her, giving me details. "Do you still want your wedding to be in december?"
"Yes, Mom." I answered her as I nodded. "Wyatt also wants it in december."
Wyatt and I went home and went straight to our bedroom. "Let's talk about us, Graciella." He said as he sat down beside me. "Will you take me back?"
"The moment I hugged you when you said 'I love you' I already took you back, Wyatt." I said to him as I rested my head on his chest. "I missed you a lot. I missed your voice, the way you talk to me, the way you look at me, and the way you touch me." I whispered and he chuckled.
"I missed you a lot too." He said and kissed my temple. "I missed everything about you." He whispered as he hugged me. "I love you, Graciella."
"I love you, Chastille." I said and kissed him, to which he responded. "Is it okay to do this?" I asked and he chuckled as he lay me on the bed.
"If you agree then I think it's fine." He said then his kisses trailed down to my neck. "If it's fine with you then we'll continue what we started but if not we better stop right now." He said and then sucked my skin and I know he left a mark.
"Wyatt, I'm fine with it but don't leave a lot of marks." I said and he chuckled but I felt him nodding. "I told you, stop leaving a mark, love." I said when I felt it again.
"I'm sorry, I can't stop myself." He said and about to continue when I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket which he got and answered and put it on speaker. "Istorbo." Wyatt whispered, which made me chuckle.
"Nandito kami sa pinto n'yo. Pakibuksan." Pia said and Wyatt cursed. "What the? Is that Chase? How could he curse at me?" She asked, which made me chuckle. "Buksan mo yung pinto. We bought food for you."
"Give me a minute." I said to her then Wyatt dropped the line. He's rolling his eyes which made me chuckle. "I need to open the door. Alis muna." I said and he sighed before standing up then I stood up too.
"You can't leave topless." Wyatt said and threw me his shirt, which made me chuckle. "I'm going with you." He said as I wore his shirt. He was walking really fast and I did my best to catch up.
"Nagmamadali ka naman, love." I complained and he just chuckled. When we got to the door, I opened it and saw my and his friends and instantly, all I could see was Wyatt's back. "Baka nagkakalimutan tayo, Wyatt. Wala kang t-shirt." I said to him and he turned around to me. "What?"
"Let's go back to our room and dress up." He said as we walked to the living room. "I thought it's just the girls. I didn't know that my friends were here too." He said and looked back at them.
"Why are you hiding, Reese? Let us see her." Tianna said and Wyatt said no immediately. Wyatt was walking behind me so I'm sure he's blocking me for them to see. "Did you hurt her physically?"
"What? Wyatt never hurt me physically." I was the one who answered her. "He never landed his hand on me. He never chooses violence with me."
"Then why is he blocking you?" Joanna asked and sighed. I didn't hear Pia so I think she's left in the living room. "I want to see you right now."
"Not now. I'm not properly dressed for everyone to see." I said to her, then entered our room, Wyatt did the same and closed the door but I opened it only enough for them to see my face. "We'll just get dressed."
I wore a sleeveless turtleneck mini dress, while Wyatt just wore his t-shirt again. "I love you." He said and kissed me before we left the room.
