Just like Wyatt and I talked about. I worked until I was 20 weeks pregnant. It's been 2 weeks since I stopped working but I'm already so bored since all I did was lay on our bed.
Getting a position on sleeping was so difficult and most of the time Wyatt wasn't sleeping beside me since I was occupying the whole bed. He mostly slept on our sofa which made me guilty.
"Wyatt. Sleep beside me tonight." I said to him as I gave him a space on our bed. "You've been sleeping on the sofa most of the time. I'm so sorry." I said to him as he lay beside me and he chuckled.
"There's nothing to be sorry for, my love." He said and kissed my nose. "I'm fine sleeping on the sofa as long as you're comfortable." He said then kissed my lips. "We should sleep. I love you."
"Alright. I love you." I said and kissed him before closing my eyes. His hand is on my huge bump. My baby bump was incredibly big so it's really hard for me to stand up for a long time and we learned why it's so big is because I was actually carrying four! I fell asleep and woke up when I felt Wyatt move. "Are you going already?"
"Yeah. It's already 6:30 AM." He said so I nodded. "I'll make your breakfast. Mom and Tita will be here around 7." He said so I nodded before he helped me get up. "What do you want for breakfast?" He asked so I said a lot of things. I'm a heavy eater since I'm providing for the 5 of us.
"We'll be having 2 boys and 2 girls, right?" He asked as we ate breakfast so I nodded. "I thought of mixing our names. Chasciella, what do you think?"
"Chasciella? I'll note it down." I said and then continued eating. Wyatt and I were always like this everytime we had a name in our mind. "What's your schedule for next month, love?"
"The hospital has an outreach program and I need to be there, which will be 3 days long but I'll see if I can go home. My schedule for next month and the month after it was full since I'll be taking a leave when you give birth." He said so I nodded, "Our parents will surely stay here when I'm away for the outreach."
"Alright. I'll see your schedule and see when you are free." I said and he nodded. "Eat a lot. You surely have a busy schedule."
"Not really. I'll be home after my meeting with our department." He said so I nodded. "My love, are you okay?" He asked which made me look up to him. "I'm asking if you're okay, Graciella."
"I'm fine, love. Just sleepy." I said then yawned. "Our unit is lacking surgeons? Pia and I are on maternity leave and I'm sure our unit is lacking surgeons."
"Yeah. You and Pia are already a big loss for us so we did hire new surgeons." He said so I nodded. "Adeline will be using your office from now on. The other 2 surgeons will be using Pia and my old office."
"It seems like we can't come back to work at the hospital again." I said and he shook his head and chuckled. "What is it?"
"Pia's things are transferred to Jaxon's office. His office is big enough to have two offices so Jaxon suggested it." He said so I nodded. "That means you guys still have a place at the hospital."
"How about me?"
"You'll be staying with me, my love." He said so I nodded. "It's more convenient if we do that. You'll always be in my sight." He said and our doorbell rang so he stood up and excused himself, while I continued eating.
When he came back he's with our parents. "Reese, We bought some fruits." Mom said so I nodded. "Are you okay? You seem quiet."
"She's lazy and sleepy, Tita." Wyatt said to him as he stood beside me. "I'll get going, love. I love you."
"Alright. Take care. I love you." I said and he kissed me before saying goodbye to our parents. He kissed me again before walking out of our kitchen. "Aren't you guys busy?" I asked as I looked at Dad and Tito.
"Yeah. We'll work here." Dad answered me so I nodded. "Continue eating. You look very sleepy."
"Reese. Don't you have a check up today?" Tita asked so I shook my head. "When is it?"
"Tomorrow. Ate Cara and Ate Rabia will be coming here to check on me." I answered Tita and she nodded. "Wyatt will be here tomorrow." I finished eating and they let me return to our room and sleep again. I woke up when my phone rang.
"Love, do you want something? I'm on my way home." Wyatt said as soon as I answered the call.
"I'm fine with just you, love." I said and he chuckled. "But if you insist on buying me something then you can buy whatever you want. I'm sleepy."
"Oh I disturbed your sleep. I'm sorry, love. You can go back to sleep. I'll drop the call. I love you." He said before ending the call at the same time the door opened which made me look at it.
"We'll be eating lunch, Reese." Mom said so I nodded then stood up. "How are you feeling?"
"I'm feeling good, Mom." I answered her as we both walked out of our bedroom. "Anyway, Wyatt is on his way home."
We waited for Wyatt who had a cake when he got home before we started eating. "Plans after giving birth?" Tita asked in the middle of our lunch.
"I'll be working again after a month of giving birth." I answered Tita and all of them looked at me. "Or maybe not. It depends." I withdrew what I said and Wyatt chuckled.
"We'll do what you want but you should get a proper rest." Wyatt said so I nodded. "We'll be getting babysitters."
"We can babysit." Mom and Tita said in unison then chuckled. "We don't have much to do since we just retired. We'll be glad to spend time with our grandchildren." Mom said and Tita agreed.
"You guys can do it but still we'll be getting babysitters. Taking care of 1 is already difficult. It's more difficult because they're 4." I said and they nodded. "Love, what time are you going?"
"2 PM. I'll take a rest with you." He said so I nodded. "Do you want to get out of here? Do you want to go somewhere?"
"Will you allow me?" I asked and he nodded. "Then let's go to the hospital. I'll just visit."
"Visit your patients? Some of your patients are still there. Some are looking for you." He said so I nodded. "Can you walk for a long time?"
"I think so?" I answered him and he nodded before standing up since we're already done eating. "Are we leaving?"
"After you get dressed." He said so I stood up and excused ourselves to go to our room. I got dressed and saw him fall asleep in the bed. I didn't wake him up and just sat on our sofa and eventually I felt sleepy and dozed off.
I didn't have the chance to visit the hospital since I was always sleepy. And tonight Wyatt will be leaving for an outreach program so I'll be left with our parents and some of our cousins.
"Take care alright? Call me from time to time." Wyatt said as he kept on saying things to me. "You're 28 weeks pregnant, love. Take care alright? We already have a schedule for your c section."
"Four weeks from now, right?" I asked him and he nodded. "Take care, love. Have fun. I love you." I said and kissed his neck. "I'll see you in three days."
"Yeah. I'll see you in three days, my love. I love you." He said and kissed me. "I'll Facetime you."
Like what he said, he called me when they're on their way but I'm too sleepy so I fell asleep while talking to him. We're like that for three days. He'll call me but I always end up falling asleep. Three days was so long since I wasn't used to Wyatt being away from me.
"Grace. You should sleep. We'll wake you up when Chase arrives." Grant said so I shook my head but yawned because I'm sleepy. "You should sleep. Chase will be mad at you if you won't sleep."
I ended up sleeping the whole night and waking up with Wyatt beside me.
"Are you ready for your c section? It'll be next week." Ate Cara said so I nodded. The days just passed so quickly and I'm actually at the end of my pregnancy and we'll finally see our babies. "Rabia and I will be there."
"That's good to hear." I said and smiled at her. "Wyatt. Can we go back to our room? I want to lay on our bed. My back hurts." I said and he nodded. I layed in our bed and I can't help but cry.
"Love, why are you crying?" Wyatt asks as he wipes my tears. "Does something hurt? Where is it?"
"I'm just happy and overwhelmed." I said to him, "We'll be meeting our babies after a week. I know if I can take good care of them."
"You'll be a great mother, my love." He said and kissed my forehead. "But when you gave birth to them I don't want you to refrain yourself from rest. I want you to recover first. We can take care of them while you're recovering."
"Alright." I said to him and smiled. I know my health is important for all of us, especially for the babies. "I can't go back to work a month after giving birth. I'll go back to work after two or three months." I said because I actually planned on breastfeeding them but I know that it'll be hard.
"That's fine, love. The hospital will always be available until you come back." Wyatt said and kissed my forehead. "I'm excited, my love."
"I am excited too and kinda scared at the same time." I said and chuckled. "I want to see if they all look like you."
For the whole week, we prepared our things and went to the hospital a day before the c section.
"Happy mother's day, Reese." Jaxon greeted me as Wyatt and I walked around the hospital. "Pia is excited to see you. She missed you a lot." We talked to Jaxon for a while before I decided to go back to my hospital room.
The next day, I proceeded with my c section and it's making me nervous and excited. "You can do it, love. I love you." Wyatt said and kissed my forehead. Wyatt was with me during the surgery.
"It's a boy." I heard Ate Rabia say as I heard a baby crying. I held him for a minute before the nurse took him away.
"Love." I called Wyatt as I looked at our 2nd born. I just kept on calling Wyatt as I admired our babies when the nurses gave them to me. "I'm sleepy." I said after the surgery. We're in my hospital room and the babies are in the NICU.
"You can sleep, love. You did great. I love you." He said and kissed me before I closed my eyes and quickly fell asleep. When I woke up Wyatt was still beside me. "I want to see our babies." I said to Wyatt and he nodded before helping me ride the wheelchair.
Wyatt and I stared at them from the glass. "Rhase, Chasciella, Wyaraciella, Gryatt." Wyatt said their names. "They're so tiny."
"Yeah, they're." I agreed with him as I admire their beauty. We didn't stay long there and went back to my room. "It's so worth it." I whispered before I fell asleep again.
