Years just passed by quickly and today is the 13th birthday of our children.
"Wyara!" I heard Chascie shouting which made me shake my head. This always happens every morning.
"Rhase! Gising na!" Gryatt shouted this time and Wyatt chuckled. "Mom! Dad!" Gryatt and Chascie shouted in unison which made me and Wyatt look at each other before standing up then went upstairs. Our house is big but their voices are loud enough for us to hear them.
"What's the matter? Let them sleep a little longer." Wyatt said to them as they knocked on their siblings door. "Baby, it's too early." Wyatt said to Chascie since Gryatt already stopped knocking since Rhase already opened his door.
"Good morning, Mom." Rhase greeted me as he walked towards me then kissed my cheeks. "They woke up too early. They're annoyingly loud." Rhase said which made me chuckle.
"Today is our birthday. We should start our day together." Chascie said as she continued to knock on Wyara's door and Wyatt was still trying to stop her. "Dad, wake her up."
"Chascie, ang ingay mo." Wyara said when she opened the door. It looks like she just got out of her bathroom since her hair is still wet. "Good morning everyone."
"I thought you're still asleep. You're a heavy sleeper so I'm worried that you'll wake up late." Chascie said to Wyara and rolled her eyes. She really has an attitude which made me shake my head while Wyatt chuckled.
"I woke up early for you." Wyara said and sighed. "Happy birthday." She greeted Chascie and kissed her cheeks. She did the same thing to his brothers. She's our youngest and she's the sweetest. "Let's eat breakfast, Rhase."
"What do you want to eat?" Gryatt said to Chascie as he put his arm on her shoulder. "And your plans for later?"
"No plans for later. We need all of you here in our house before lunch." Wyatt said and they all looked at him like they already planned something. "What?"
"Dad, we have plans!" Wyara said and Wyatt pouted which made me chuckle. "But we can probably do it tomorrow, right?" She said and looked at her siblings and they nodded.
"You won." I said to Wyatt as I held his hand. "Breakfast is served. Let's eat so you guys can go." I said to them as we went downstairs. We ate in our dining room while we listened to our children's stories. "Excuse me. I'll just get something to our office." We renovated our nursery room, it's now our office.
I got our presents for them and went back to the dining room. "A present." I heard them say this as I entered the kitchen. All of their eyes are on the box in my hand.
"It's a watch!" Rhase said excitedly and the other's squealed which made me and Wyatt chuckled. "It's a rolex." He said as I put each box in front of them. All of them love watches.
"You guys deserve that. It's your birthday and you guys did well." Wyatt said as he held my waist and made me sit in his lap. "Your Mom and I bought that as our present for the four of you." We bought the boys Rolex Cosmograph Daytona while we bought Rolex Day-Date 36 for the girls.
"Mom. This surely costs a lot." Wyara said worriedly though she looks happy looking at the watch.
"It's fine. Once a year lang naman ang birthday." Wyatt said and I agreed, while I rested my head on his chest. "Tired already?" He whispered so I shook my head.
"Not really but I'm kinda sleepy." I answered him then looked at our children who were thanking us. "You guys are welcome."
"You should sleep. We'll have a long day." He said then kissed the top of my head. "We would be happy if you get some sleep, love." He said as I looked up to him and pouted and he kissed me. "I love you."
"I love you." I said and kissed him before we looked at our children who's giggling which made me chuckle. "You guys can go. Dad and I will clean the table."
"No Mom. You should sleep. We'll do everything here before we go." Gryatt said as he and Rhase started collecting our plates and cleaning the table.
"We'll do the dishes, Mom." Wyara said and walked to us then kissed me and Wyatt. Gryatt, Chascie, and Rhase did the same before they left the dining room with the plates and our glass.
"Let's go to our room, love." Wyatt said and tapped my thighs so I stood up. He carried me and walked out of the dining room but Rhase stopped in front of us.
"Mom, Dad. Tita Pia and Tito Jaxon and his family are here." Rhase said and Wyatt sighed. "We let them in. They're in the living room. Gryatt is entertaining them."
"Thank you, Rhase. Let's go there." I said and he just looked at us before shaking his head and started walking while Wyatt chuckled.
"Aren't you still used to seeing me and your Mom like this, son? We're always like this." Wyatt said to Rhase who shook his head as his answer.
"Am I going to have a little sister?" He asked and stopped which also made Wyatt stop. "Cole has a little sister. I'm kinda jealous."
"Well your Mom and I haven't planned on having another child." Wyatt said and looked at me. I tapped his shoulder and he put me down.
"It'll be complicated. I'm already turning 45. Getting pregnant at this age will be considered a high risk." I said to him then looked behind him when I saw Wyara who had her hands in her waist.
"I'm the youngest. I'm your baby sister. You don't need any." Wyara said to Rhase with a furrowed brow, while Rhase chuckled when he looked at her. "I'm your baby sister, Rhase."
"Yeah, you are. I'm just asking them, Wyara." He said and put his arms on her shoulder before excusing them and entering our kitchen again.
"Your oldest and your youngest really got along." I said to Wyatt and chuckled. We went to the living room. "Thank you for entertaining them, Gryatt. You can go to your siblings." I said and kissed his forehead before he ran to our kitchen. Wyatt and I both know that the four of them prefer to stay in the same place. "Good morning. You guys went here so early."
"Cole insisted. He said that they're going to celebrate your children's birthday at the mall." Pia said as we both glanced at Cole who's on his phone, busy typing.
"Good morning!" We heard Thena, which made all of us look at her. "The door is open so we just enter. Where's your children?"
"Doing house chores." I answered her and she nodded. "Good morning, Belle, Darius."
"Good morning, Tita." Belle greeted me back and kissed my cheeks before sitting on the sofa and looking at her phone.
"Kath, mamaya ka na mag cellphone. Baka madapa ka." Tianna's voice was heard in our living room so we all looked at the door and there went Tianna, Leon, and their daughter Kathryn. "Good morning."
"Mom. We'll go dress up." Chascie said, which made me look at their direction and nodded. "We can wear anything we want, Dad?"
"Of course." Wyatt answered her, "you guys should go. We'll wait for you here." He said and they did walk. They're talking as they walk.
"Wow, they aren't on their phones." I heard Adeline, which made me look at her and her son was behind her. "Kelvin. Tell your son to get his eyes off his phone. Kukunin ko 'yan." Our children have their own phones but we rarely see them use them at home.
"Good morning." Joanna said when she and Bry arrived. Bry sat on the single couch and pulled Joanna to sit on his lap. "Stress na ba lahat sa cellphone ng anak n'yo?" She asked and chuckled. They don't have a child.
"Lea! For once stop looking at your phone." We heard Bethany, which made all of us chuckle. "Good morning." She greeted us and sighed.
"We're complete now. Let's start drinking." Jerome said, which made Bethany glared at him while we chuckled.
"Where's your children, Grace?" I heard Grant, which made me look at the door once again and see him with Cassie, Gael, and Cameron.
"Good morning, Mama." Gael greeted me and kissed my cheeks before walking to Belle. "I missed you, babe." He said and kissed Belle on the cheeks before sitting beside her and hugging her. She put her phone away and gave her attention to Gael so I looked away and looked at my children who's walking downstairs.
"Love, what's with your children today?" I asked Wyatt when I saw all of them wearing similar clothes! "Guess who's who." I said to our friends and chuckled.
"Mom, Dad, we'll be home before lunch." Rhase said then look at Wyara who's pouting. "Be satisfied, at least we'll be able to go. We'll go out again tomorrow."
"It's already 8, Rhase. We should go." Chascie said and rolled her eyes then looked at Gryatt who's busy on his phone. "Gryatt, put your phone away."
"Wait. I'm messaging my friends. I'll be done in a second." Gryatt said and he finished in a second and gave his phone to Chascie who put it in her shoulder bag. "We should go." He said while looking at our friends' children who stopped on looking at their phones.
"Mom, Dad. We'll be leaving. We'll ride our van. We love you." Wyara said and kissed our cheeks and there her siblings also did. "We'll be back around 11."
"Alright. Where's your bag?" I asked her since she isn't holding anything and she pointed to Rhase who's holding a shoulder bag. "Did you guys have your credit cards?"
"It's in Chascie and Wyara's bag, Mom." Rhase answered me then looked at Belle and Gael. "Ate, Kuya. Let's go. Mamaya na 'yan."
Our children left and they used our van since they wouldn't fit in the car. "Shall we start cooking?" Cassi asked so we nodded.
"Love, we'll go cook. Don't drink, it's still too early." I said to Wyatt as I stood up.
We started cooking for our lunch since we'll be having lunch together to celebrate our children's birthday since they don't like parties.
We always celebrated our children's birthdays through a simple lunch or dinner with our friends but this birthday is different since it's the girls' debut. They're 18 already. Time flies so fast.
"You look so beautiful, Chasciella." Gryatt said to Chascie when she went out wearing her gown. "Happy birthday, my princess." He said and chuckled while Chascie rolled her eyes.
"Aw my little sister looks so adorable." Rhase said to Wyara and tried to hold her face but she held his hand. "I have a gift for you and Chascie. I'll give it after this."
"Thank you, Rhase." Wyara said and smiled at him before looking at Chascie. "You look so gorgeous. Happy birthday again, Chasciella."
"You look so gorgeous as well and you're one of a kind since you look like Mom while the three of us look like Dad." Chascie said and rolled her eyes then chuckled. "Happy birthday, Wyaraciella." She said before hugging her.
"Our two Ciella." Gryatt said before he and Rhase joined their hug. "Our small princesses." He said and I know he got pinched by Chascie when I heard him say 'ouch' which made me chuckle. It was great to see our children still so close to each other even though they're already 18.
"Won't you guys hug me and your Mom?" I heard Wyatt as I felt him hug me from behind then our children ran to us then embraced us. "Happy birthday. We love you guys a lot."
"We love you two too." Chascie said and giggled. When we broke the hug they kissed us on the cheeks. "Thank you for having us, Mom, Dad."
"It's always a pleasure but we should be the one thanking you guys." I said to them and they all looked clueless. "Thank you for being with us. The four of you are really a great wedding gift, right love?"
"Yeah. They're the best." Wyatt agreed with me before kissing my cheeks. "You guys should get ready, the program will start any minute now."
