"She often passes out. This is the 3rd time she passed out in the past 2 weeks." I heard Wyatt say to someone.
"I'm just so tired, Wyatt." I said to him and I heard several sighs. "Give me a rest for the whole week and this won't happen again."
"Love, I hired maids so you don't need to do anything but you still do the house chores." Wyatt said and sighed. "I booked a vacation. All of our things are ready already. We're leaving tomorrow." He said which made me open my eyes.
"Where are we going?" I asked him,
"California. I'm sure you won't do anything that's tiring there." He said, which made me sighed. "Nana Barbara, will surely scold you if you do something there."
"Chase, no. I'll just stay here." I said to him and he just looked at me. "Wyatt, you know that Nana Barbara is strict when it comes to me doing something tiring."
"I know that's why I'm bringing you there. You can rest for the whole week." He said and looked at Jaxon and Pia. "They're going with us."
"That's good to hear but Wyatt we may not sleep in the same room again." I said to him because that's what Nana Barbara did the last time we got there because she wants us to fully rest. "You want to know the reason why?"
"I'm tiring you at night before we sleep." He said casually which made me look at Pia and Jaxon who looked away. "It's not even every night."
"Is it making you guys uncomfortable? Sorry that's just how our family is." I said to Pia and Jaxon before glaring at Wyatt. "Anyway, where's the other?"
"Sleeping. It's already 2 am, love." He answered me, which made me look at Pia and Jaxon. "They were worried about you."
The next day Pia, Jaxon, Wyatt, and I flew to California and when we got there Nana made us eat then rest. Jaxon and Pia went to their room while Wyatt and I were left there because she's putting us in a different room again.
"You brought Reese here to fully rest. She can't fully rest when you guys are going to do activities in bed." Nana said which made me sighed. "You said this to me, Chastille, that's why I agree."
"Nana, I can't sleep without Wyatt on my side." I said to her and sighed. "Besides, Wyatt and I are already 31."
"Alright, fine. Just don't get so tired and take vitamins, Reese." Nana said, which made me thank her.
Wyatt and I took a rest in our room and when the dinner was ready we were called and ate. For the whole week I was able to have a good rest and when we got home they're drinking again.
"Wyatt, I'm leaving." I said to Wyatt as I put my phone in my bag then held my luggage. Everyone's eyes are on me. I walked to the door when the doorbell rang and opened it before walking back to them. "Grant is here."
"You didn't wait for me, Grace." Grant said as he stopped in front of me. "I missed you." He said and hugged me then kissed my forehead. "Where's Chase?"
"I'm right here. It's been a long time." Wyatt said to him as he stood up. Grant broke the hug then fistbumped Wyatt. "You just arrived? Where are you taking her?" Wyatt asked as they both walked away from us.
"Who's that? Chase let him kiss you on the forehead in front of him." Adeline said,
"Who is he? He looks so fine." Bethany said,
"Mama!" I heard a familiar voice, which made me look at the side where I heard the voice and there I saw my nephew, Gael. "I missed you, mama!" He said as he ran towards me so I knelt down and welcomed him with a warm hug.
"Did you come here with tita Cassi? Or your dad?" I asked him as I looked behind him and saw Wyatt and Grant. "I missed you too, my Gael."
"Where's your tita Cassi, son? How did you get here?" Grant asked too but he didn't receive an answer from him because Gael ran to Wyatt who immediately carried him. "Isabella. I told you to wait for us in the van."
"Kuya, your son insisted. You know all of us can't disagree with him." Isabella said to him which I agreed. "Ate, can you lecture your twin to not be bossy? Kakarating lang ang sungit agad." She said which made me chuckle. Yes, Grant is my twin brother but we don't really look alike.
"Grant, ang tagal nyo. Ngayon ka na nga lang ulit a-attend ng family gathering late ka pa." I heard Cassi's voice and soon enough she appeared. My twin was always absent at any family gathering, even at my engagement party. "And you, Chase. Make sure to be there tomorrow or you're dead. Ate Cara won't attend your wedding if you're not at their wedding."
"I'll be there." Wyatt said as he put Gael down then walked to me. "I'm sorry that I can't go with you to Tagaytay today, love but I'll surely be there tomorrow."
"It's fine. Comfort Bry for the meantime but don't drink a lot, you'll be driving tomorrow. Drive safely alright." I said and kissed his neck, while he chuckled. "I love you. I'll see you tomorrow."
"Thank you for understanding. I'll see you tomorrow. I love you so much, my love." He said and kissed me. "I'll call you later."
We are now on our way to Tagaytay. "When do you plan to have a child, Grace?" Grant asked me and chuckled. "I would love to have a niece or nephew from you and Chase. I want to see how they'll look."
"You need to wait for a long time. Wyatt said not yet. We don't have plans on having a child yet." I said to him then my phone rang which I quickly answered. "What is it, love?"
"Pia and Jaxon are going with me. Jaxon's driving my car. Our friends already went home. We're on our way." Wyatt said, which made me nod. He sounds drunk. "I'm sleepy."
"You're drunk. I told you not to drink a lot. You should take a rest. Sleep for a while." I said but I didn't receive a response. "Wyatt. Love."
"Reese. This is Pia. He fell asleep. We don't actually plan to go to Tagaytay tonight but Chase insisted. He told us that he'll follow you because you won't be able to sleep without him but he's drunk so we went with him." Pia said, which made me sighed. "Don't worry about Chase. We'll take care of him. I'll call you when we arrive."
"Thank you, Pia. I'll wait for you guys there." I said then I dropped the call. "Wyatt is on his way."
"Already? Kala ko ba bukas pa?" Cassi asked so I shrugged my shoulders. "Hindi na lang sumabay sa atin."
When we arrived we were greeted by our cousins. "Where's Chase?" Ryker asked, so I told him that he's on the way. "Hindi pa kayo nag sabay."
"He's supposed to go here tomorrow but he changed his mind." I said to him then look at Kuya Rock. "Congratulations, Kuya!"
"Thank you, Reese. Go to Cara, she's waiting for you." Kuya Rock said so I nodded. Grant had my luggage so I guess he put it in my room.
I went to Ate Cara's room and most of the girls in our family were there. "Reese, you arrive just in time." Ate Cara said, "take this. We're playing pregnancy roulette." She added and handed me a pregnancy test.
"What?" I was clueless as I looked at them. They're telling me to take a test so I did then put it on the box. And they started looking at it one-by-one. "That's a faint line." I commented when I saw the lines.
"And this is a positive line." Cailey said, as she let us see the pregnancy test. We were too busy figuring and guessing who's the owner of the pregnancy tests when someone barged into the room. "Chase, you're not supposed to be here."
"Love, you arrived already." I said and walked towards him. "Excuse me for a while."
"No, you might be the owner of the pregnancy test." Ate Clara said and Wyatt looked at me. "I heard from Nana that you passed out 2 weeks ago and you stayed with them for a week to rest."
"You took a pregnancy test, love?" Wyatt asked so I nodded. "It's negative, right? You can't be pregnant. Not yet."
"Of course, I'm not pregnant." I said then held my shoulder because it's hurting again. "We'll go to our room. I'll be back." I said before Wyatt and I walked to our room. "Ouch." I reacted when I felt a pain in my lower abdomen.
"Love, why? What's wrong?" Wyatt asked as he held both of my shoulders. I can't answer him since the pain got severed and everything went black.
"Love, what happened?" I asked Wyatt who's staring at me. "What time is it?"
"You passed out again and I'm sure it's not because you're tired. What hurts, love?" He asked so I held my lower abdomen. "I'll bring you to a hospital. Is it fine with you?"
"Let's go to a doctor when we go back to Manila, love. I don't want to miss the wedding." I said and he's about to say 'but' but I stopped him. "I'm fine. I'll tell you if not."
"But love, you're risking your health. It's a pregnancy. An ectopic one." He said and he sounds very worried. It's a serious case if it's really an ectopic pregnancy.
"Who knows about this? Does anyone know besides you? Don't tell them about it." I said and he shook his head.
"Too late. Ate Clara drew your blood already and Ate Rabia already took a transvaginal ultrasound while you were sleeping, love." He said, which made me sighed.
"After getting the result of the blood test we analyzed the ultrasound again." Ate Cara suddenly appeared which made my eyes widen. "It's really an ectopic pregnancy. Rabia and I can suggest using Methotrexate."
"Ate Cara. You should be taking a rest." I said to her and she glared at me. "Ate, tomorrow is your wedding. You should rest."
"Did Rock arrive already?" Ate Cara asked Ate Rabia who just entered the room. "It's good that we diagnosed it already. You'll get a shot of Methotrexate today, Reese."
"Babe, I'm sorry it took me so long. The pharmacist thought I forged your prescription." Kuya Rock said to Ate Cara then looked at me. "Get well, Reese. You should take a rest tomorrow."
"I'm going to attend your wedding." I said to him then looked at Wyatt. "All of these are done without my consent?"
"I don't have a choice. They insisted and it's for your own good so I agreed." Wyatt answered me so I nodded. "The elders don't know about this."
"Yeah, we found a reason to use the lab without them knowing about this." Ate Clara said, she just arrived with Grant and the others.
"How are you, Grace?" Grant asked, so I answered 'I'm fine'. "Parang kanina lang, lasing ka Chase ah." He said to Chase and they chuckled.
"Labas muna kayo. We'll call you after." Ate Rabia said to them so they did except Ate Cara and Wyatt. "You too, Chase. Labas muna."
"Let him stay, Bia." Ate Cara said to her. "Lie on your stomach, Reese. This will be fast." I did what she said and it was really quick. "I'll monitor you for a few weeks, Reese."
"Oh come on, Cara. You have a week-long honeymoon. I'll be monitoring you, Reese." Ate Rabia said and Wyatt agreed. "You guys can enter. And Rock, go get your bride. You guys need to rest."
"I agree, Ate Cara. Thank you for the help." I said to her and she sighed but she doesn't have a choice since Kuya Rock is already pulling her out of my room. "Thank you for today, everyone. We really appreciate it."
Ate Rabia talked to us about my condition. "We'll leave the two of you. Get a good rest." She said before all of them went out of our room.
"I guess it's not for us." I said and hugged him. He didn't talk but he hugged me tightly.
