I woke up early and excitement was visible on everything I make, I'm not sure why but I just woke up feeling so great and hyper even tho I only slept for about 5 hours.
"What's with the flowers blooming around you and geez, the sun is shinning too brightly it's making my eyes hurt" Sam said dramatically while covering her eyes.
I rolled my eyes before taking my dessert over my tray and handing my card to the cashier then we walk towards our table to eat our breakfast.
"Guess who's making out on the balcony last night" I choked on my food when Annie suddenly spilled the tea.
"Geez Tine stop being too obvious" Liz smirked.
"So who's the guy? Were you dating secretly all this time? How come we didn't know this?" Sam questioned.
"No, we're not dating" I answered and drank my hot milk.
"That's it? I got three questions for you, you only answered one" Sam pouted.
"It's pretty obvious who that guy is" Annie gave them a clue.
"Shut up, we're getting late" I hushed them and they smiled before finishing their food.
We took our time walking the distance from our building to the main building, it's been a while since I last saw Sofia's group, I think they've gone so busy lately.
After dropping Annie off, the three went to the locker room first to fetch a few things before proceeding to our classroom. I settled my things on my desk before walking up to Icer to give him our research handouts.
"That's too many" he complained.
"I know," I grinned then look over Sam and James who was also busy with their research.
"You know, you can drag her away if you want to" I sneered when he keeps sending dagger looks at James.
"That'll be rude" he commented, I shrugged then wrote some notes on the back of my notebook.
Icer was still complaining about how did our handouts became this many while I summarize all the topics alone when someone purposely cleared their throat to get our attention, I look up to see a gloomy Ace then Icer immediately kept his distance away from me.
"Oh you're here, I need your help" I excused, his dark aura suddenly disappeared when I smiled.
"Sure" he nod, I walked back to my desk while he followed me from behind.
"You got the highest score last quiz right?" I asked him and he sat on Liz's chair while taking my paper.
"The 70 item test last week?" He asked and I nod.
"You only got 3 mistakes, it's no big deal, so here it is..." he started explaining everything to me while I listen to it intently.
"Ehem, oh my gosh my throat hurts" I got cuaght off guard and I look at Liz while Sam shivered behind her.
I looked at Icer and Troy who stopped their bussiness and looked at them, I cleared my throat and look back at Ace who was glaring at the two girls.
"I'll get some medicine on the infirmary" Sam chuckled awkwardly and Liz nodded in a way her head could fell off.
"I'll get it, stay here" Icer said to Sam and Troy simply looked at Liz who was again asleep, in just 5 seconds of our conversation.
"Focus here" Ace called my attention and I immediately look back at my paper on Liz's desk.
His tutor for me ended when our teacher entered the classroom, I almost glared at him when Ace walked back towards his seat but immediately shook that thought away to listen to his discussions.
It was lunch time and I was fixing my bag when phone suddenly rang, I settled my bag down for a moment and fished my phone out my pocket then I felt a strong pair of arms snaked around my waist.
I look up to him but wasn't able to meet his eyes when he hid his face on my shoulder, I slowly reach for his head and gently caress it.
"Are you okay?" I asked lowly.
"Yeah, don't mind me, answer your phone now" he muffled.
I blinked twice before looking at my phone and answered it right away after seeing my cousin's name on the screen.
"Perry, hi!" I greeted him.
"What took you too long to answer?" He asked irritately, I pouted.
"I was fixing my things, I'm heading out for lunch now" I told him, then I saw a flash on my peripheral vision, I glared at Sam, Liz and Icer who has their phones out before rushing out the door, I sighed.
"Oh, I just called to check up on you" he lovingly said and I chuckled.
"That's so sweet of you, I'm doing fine here, how are you guys?" I asked.
"We're doing great, also Honey already introduced us his girlfriend, I assume that it's your turn to shine baby cousin" he laughed, I clicked my tongue.
"Yeah right, I'm probably too busy to have one" I complained.
"No pressure, I just wanna let you know that you're getting old not the other way around, anyways I need to go, talk to you soon, bye Tinay, I love you!" He cheerfully said.
"Yeah, I love you too, bye" I sweetly said and the call ended then Ace suddenly lifted up his head while glaring at my phone then at me.
"W-what? It's my cousin, isn't it normal to say those things?" I asked innocently and his dark aura disappeared as he shook his head.
"I'm starving, can we go now?" I asked and that made him smile and tucked a few strands of my hair away from my face.
"Let's eat on your building?" He asked and I nodded my head before hanging my bag over my shoulder then we both walked out the classroom.
We both took the path towards our building and unexpectedly everyone wasn't paying attention to the fact that I'm with this guy, I picked my meal and he paid for it then we both took a seat to our table.
"So are you still gonna deny that you're dating?" Loraine asked, I was about to answer when I realized that it was meant for Sam and Icer.
Yes, Icer is also here- sitting next to Sam, that leaves Liz and Loraine sitting alone because Ace is sitting beside me.
"I'm still courting her" Icer said unbothered and I choked on my food.
"Watch it Icer" Ace glared at him.
"Who wouldn't get shook? She's an anti-romantic man hater" Liz smirked and Sam rolled her eyes.
"Since when did you started to court her?" I asked.
"Since field trip, day one" Icer answered.
"You're flirting Cursetine even tho you like Samantha?" Ace glared at him, yeah right.
"It was meant to make her jealous, sadly it didn't work" Icer frowned while Sam smiled in victory.
"I knew it, how about you two? Don't tell me that you guys kissed for nothing" Sam motioned to us, I blushed and hid my face on his arm.
"We're dating" he answered.
"We are?" I asked after looking up to him.
"Do you want me to court you then?" He pinched my chin lightly.
"Eih~..." I whinned and hid my face then they laughed at us.
"Finish your food" he pat my head and I patiently obeyed.
"Where's Annie?" I asked suddenly.
"She's over-exhausting herself with school works- she's actually making her project with Luhan, poor guy, he wanted to have lunch but his partner is not letting him have one" Loraine frowned.
I went silent after that, they continued with their conversation but I'm really getting worried about Annie, she's completely distracting herself to avoid thinking about Pierce.
After our lunch, Loraine and Liz walked out to have their 'date' because they got jealous of me and Sam, I really don't know how did all of this happened, are we really dating or what? Should I asked him?
"You still haven't answer my question from earlier" he said.
We're just walking around the school grounds, I didn't even realize that Icer and Sam already separated from us.
"What question?" I asked him while taking a sip from the smoothie he brought me before we left the cafeteria.
"Do you want me to court you or advance our relationship to the next level?" He asked with a sense of seriousness on his voice.
"I haven't experience being courted but why bother courting when it'll fall into the next level after that?" I confusely look at him, his ears turned red and looked away.
"Why is she like this? She's too straight forward" I heard him mumbled, I chuckled and tugged his sleeves.
"I'm confuse at these things, stop blushing for a moment and talk to me" I complained and he laughed before messing my hair lightly.
"How about we're officially dating starting now and I'll still court you everyday, that sounds good to you?" He asked and the side of my lips immediately rose as I nod my head.
"Well I guess this is a start of something new to me" I giggled and suddenly stopped before blushing.
"W-we're already together? That easily?" I asked for confirmation and he nod.
"Got any complaints?" He asked and I shook my head.
He gently held my hand and kissed the back of my palm making the 'butterflies' in my stomach go wild, he then interwinded our fingers together as we took the pathway towards the main building to attend our classes for this afternoon.

"That's it?! No confession, no anything?!" Annie asked while we have our dinner.
"Why would he bring up the dating issue if he hates me? You guys said it yourselves that no matter I deny it the answer is obvious" I shrugged.
"But aren't you afraid that he's just playing around?" Sam asked, I stopped, what if he's just playing with my feelings?
"I don't know, excuse me" I bluntly said and left the table, I suddenly lost my mood for eating, I feel so depressed all of a sudden.
This morning it was all so bright but after hearing those from Sam, I feel like I've been awake from a very bad dream- a nightmare perhaps, a beautiful nightmare. I feel my heart breaking and my chest getting heavy at the moment.
I entered my room and changed into my night dress and wore my blazer, I walk out of the balcony hoping the see him there and as if he read my mind, he stood there, waiting for me.
"Hey, what wrong?" He approached me, I smiled weakly and shook my head.
"Ace... what do you think of me?" I asked, trying to say it more gently but roughness painted my voice.
He looked at me worriedly but later on was replaced by annoyance, did I offended him? But he can't blame me, I'm scare of loosing myself and breaking down, I just want to make sure that this is pure romance and not a play thing.
"I don't know who made you think that way but let me tell you this..." he started off and took a hold of my cold hands.
"I-I know we've been enemies for having the same rank since the first year but I'm also doing my best to get your attention since then, even tho I'm bullying you, I can't help but fall more deeper for you, Cursetine, I love you" he said.
My heart dropped and my gloomy mood was immediately replaced by something light, like I was floating on the air and all I can see now is him, I saw myself on his eyes, it was so calming, the way he held my hand and how genuine he is on every word he says.
"B-but I'm not sure of my feelings for you" I suddenly blurted out but instead of getting upset he smiled and caress my cheek gently.
"That's why I'm gonna court you to assure that you'll fall in love with me" he grinned, I chuckled and hugged him.
His arms instantly wrapped around my waist we both fall in silence for some time until I break our moment myself, he looked at me lovingly and I can't help myself but blush.
"It's getting late, I think you should head back now" I said.
"Can I get a good night kiss?" He gave me a teasing smile and I blushed once more, he's really bad for my health.
"On the cheek" I gestured on his left cheek and he frowned.
"Fine, here" he bent down a little to level his face to mine.
I smiled before leaning in to kiss his cheek- but since this guy is Death Jaxen Ace Salazar and he always gets what he wants, he suddenly turn his head making me kiss him on his lips instead, I frowned and hit his arm lightly while he smiled in victory.
"Ace!" I scolded him but he just laughed at me.
"Alright, good night" he planted a kiss on my forehead before walking towards the railings.
"You might wanna use the elevator this time" I motioned inside, he smirked and held my waist.
"It's nice to hear that you're concern" he whispered huskily.
"How can you court me if you'll break your bones?" I arched my eyebrows and he sighed in defeat.
"Fine, I'll use the elevator" he said and dragged me inside where Annie is now brushing her hair infront her vanity.
"Good night" I waved at him as he walked out the door and waved back at me before closing it.
"You guys should stop making out on the balcony" she sneered.
"Shut up" I exclaimed then she giggled.
The days passed on so quickly and the progress of Ace courting me have been improving, I'm really getting the hang of him kissing me out of nowhere and I don't even bother arguing about him stealing kisses from almost time to time.
Today is also the day Annie and Loraine will be having their field trip, they already left a while ago and since its still early, I'm here on the garden behind our building with Ace who is taking a nap on my lap.
I'm reading his book while playing with his hair, he just brought me breakfast and we decided to eat here that he called to be our first 'date'.
"Ace, wake up" I slightly moved my legs to wake him up.
"Uhmm" he groaned before opening his eyes, I can't help but to giggle at his actions.
"Come on, let's head to class" he stood up and offered his hand to me and I used it to help myself stand up.
I held his book close to me while he is carrying our bags, there's also a meter distance between us. He didn't complain tho cause I'm still trying to adjust to this dating thing.
When we reached the classroom, a smirk immediately formed on my lips when I saw Sam and James talking and Icer has his arm resting over her shoulders while listening to their conversation, is he that possessive?
"So it's finally getting to an end, finally Death, finally" Troy pat his back.
"Shut up Troy" he hissed with his ears getting red.
"I'll take it, thanks" I took my bag from him and went straight to my desk.
"Ice, come here for a sec" I called him and he immediately walked over to me.
Ace is talking to Liz so I guess that means that it's fine for Ice to talk to me. On the other hand, I feel sorry for Liz when Troy suddenly announced his relationship with Sofia on public.
And we also have Pierce, he's trice as much as he is back then before Annie canceled their marriage, he has different girls with him, sometimes he doesn't go to class and Icer would scold him then drag him back here just to attend classes.
It's been a miserable sight these past few days, while Annie is always talking about Luhan- that guy, he's always with her and she rarely eat with us now, I sighed when the bell finally rang, it's lunch time, time fly so fast huh.
"Wanna grab some lava cupcakes again?" Liz nudged my chair and both me and Sam grinned.
"Totally!" We cheered.
"You girls go ahead, we still have a meeting with the higher ups" Icer said.
"Okay, I'll see you later then" Sam smiled at him and Liz looked at us in horror.
"Don't skip lunch alright" I told him, he smirked and stole another kiss from me, again, in front of my friends.
"Ugh! I can't watch this" Liz exclaimed acting so disgusted making us laugh while she rushed out the door.
"I'll see you later" he whispered and I kissed his cheek before taking my bag.
Me and Sam walked out the door, to find Liz talking to Zen, looks like these two have gotten close to each other too.
Zen noticed us and we greeted each other before parting ways, on the way to our building, my smile won't fade. I feel so care free these past few days, it really feels amazing to know someone you like secretly likes you back.
"You two stop looking like that" Liz groaned and I gave her a grin.
"Awe, jealous Lizzy? Why not date Zen? He seems to like you" Sam joked.
"Well I am about to answer him later" she wandered her eyes away.
"Wait what?!" I whispered.
"Just kidding, it's kinda hard to lose my feelings for Troy, I can't start dating someone to forget him and besides, examinations are comming so I need to study hard" she smiled contently.
"Aww our little Liz has already grown up now" I hugged her.
"But Zen is such a gentleman, not to mention- he's also studying medicine like your cousin" she grinned.
"Shut up and hit yourself over the books" I poked her forehead and she laughed.
"I was just joking" she whinned then Sam told us to finish our meal.
After our lunch the three of us immediately walked towards the covered gym to watch the boy's volleyball team play, 2 months from now, we'll be having our sports fest and we really need to practice hard to win.
But before that, we should study hard for the upcoming examination week, I also think that I can't participate on a few study sessions because we also need to attend our volleyball practice.
Looks like I won't be able to contact my family for a while again, well that could help me not to spill the tea that their youngest cousin is already dating someone. Who knows? Maybe they'll just teleport here and torture his brain with a lot of questions?
