"We are actually staying near the shore while doing our activity but then I saw this poor baby bird that fell on the ocean so-" Annie was cutted of by her brother.
"So you dive in the water because you have a soft spot for animals and tried to save the bird even tho you don't know how to swim, now we know" Xielo sarcasly said.
"Xiexie, you nearly k*lled mom from a heart attack" Xeivor scolded her.
"You're the only girl and the youngest member of our family, don't you dare do that again" Xian lectured her.
"You already know you're clumsy so please be more careful next time" Xaiver pat her head.
"I know, I'm sorry for making all of you worried" Annie pouted and her brothers faced the wall.
"Can we let her off?" Xian asked softly, me and Ace silently smiled hearing how soft these tough guys are when it comes to their sister.
"We can't Ian, dad will scold us" Xeivor whispered.
"But mom will scold us too when she shed a single tear" Xielo mumbled.
"I get it, same drill guys" Xaiver said.
"Okay, no allowance for the whole 3 months" he told Annie.
"Okay I get it" Annie frowned and the four guys sighed in relief.
"How about the coordinators?" I can't help but asked.
"Mom and dad are already talking to them" Xielo answered.
"It's getting late, I'll send my girl back to her dorm now" Ace said and Icer stood up as well.
"Sure, thank you for handling our sister's situation" Xaiver send us towards the door.
"No problem, rest well Xiena" Icer looked at her.
"I will, thanks" Annie waved at us, I waved back before Ace closed the door.
Ace and Icer walked me to our building- well of course Icer went over to visit Sam while I invited Ace inside because he wants to read my notes from earlier.
"You can borrow it if you want" I said while throwing all the useless crumpled papers on the little trash bin, cleaning the desk.
"I can request for a copy on the library" he simply said while flipping over my notebook and I gave him a blank stare until he realized what he said.
"Then why are you here? Reading 'my' notes?" I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Uh- okay fine, I just want to be alone with you for a while" he scratched the back of his head.
I chuckled and sat on my swivel chair to change my shoes while he sat on my bed laying down on it comfortably.
"You must be tired, you should head back now and rest" I said and turned my chair towards him.
"Did you not hear what I just said earlier? Alone. with you. Why are you pushing me away?" He pouted, I smiled before sitting next to him and he immediately wrapped his arms around my waist.
"I'm not, you just look so tired, what if you'll fall sick?" I asked and sighed.
"I'm used to these things, don't worry" he sat up and looked at me.
Silence arouse between us while we stare at each others eyes, I slowly lifted my hand and traced the sides of his face, eyes, nose and lastly his slightly parted lips, I gulped and look back his eyes then he smirked.
"Stop doing that or you'll regret it if I lost my cool" he huskily said and his hand ran up my hips, waist, and shoulders before stopping on my jaw.
And with that, I can't look away from him and my insides started to get abonormal as heat spread out althrough my body, how can this guy be so charismatic without putting so much effort?
"What? I-I'm not doing anything" I stuttered, he smiled and put my hand on his chest.
"If not then how do you explain this?" He motioned to his heart beat racing.
"Ace..." I blushed.
My body is reacting too much from his little gestures, I feel like exploding from too much affection any time soon. He then lifted my chin and my heart exploded when I saw his eyes full of love and affection.
"I love you" he softly whispered and it was enough for my system to get error connectivity to my brain.
The next thing I knew, his lips covered mine and electricity scattered to my body, I closed my eyes as his lips started to move and I remained frozen not knowing what to do. His lips kept on working until my own body started to respond to him.
I held on to his shoulders and my lips started to follow his lead, his hands settled on my waist, adjusting my position, I gasp when he suddenly squeezed my waist taking the advantage of his tongue to invade my mouth, I grip on his shoulder tightly when he pulled my closer.
His tongue played with mine and as time flew by, I felt comfortable with it. The kiss lasted for a while and we both pulled away when our lungs lost stock of oxygen.
He rested his forehead on mine as we both catch our breath, my heart is getting wild right now, he chuckled deeply making me open my eyes tiredly.
"Not bad for your first time" he smirked, I pushed him away and was about to complain when the door opened and we both shifted our gaze there.
"What the f*- ouch! Samantha!" Icer complained when Sam pinched his side.
"Ehem, so- care to explain why are you sitting on his lap, ms. Belfour?" She smiled evily, my face puffed red when I realized it.
I didn't realize that I ended up here, I shyly stood up and turn to them and I felt Ace standing up as well.
"What? Making out is normal for a couple, why? Are you jealous ms. Morgan? Why not do it with Icer?" Ace teased and Sam rolled her eyes.
"That's not funny Death, you're still minors- nevermind, making out is enough just don't do 'it' yet" she meaningly scolded us.
"I know my limits don't worry" he said seriously making me smile secretly.
"Well I need to go, I need to freshen up" Ace held my hand and kissing the back of my palm, it's been his hobby and I got used to it.
"Yeah go get a cold shower" Icer smirked, my eyes widened.
"Don't mind him, good night babe" he smiled sweetly at me and I nod my head slowly, oh no.
"Good night" I smiled back then he nod before walking out the door.
"You can go back now Sam" Icer said and Sam nodded.
"Good night" she said and the two left.
Sam gave me a meaningful look and I nodded my head, I waited for her to leave before closing the door and slid down on it, did he really-? Argh! We shouldn't do that next time, it's dangerous!
The next morning I was tying my hair when Annie burst inside the room, of course I was shock because- What on earth is she doing here?! She's suppose to be resting.
"Why are you here?" I asked her, she frowned and plopped down her bed.
"I hate staying there, it's boring and I wanna rest here" she said while crawling under her comforter and popped her head out at the end.
"Still you shouldn't leave there until the doctor says you can" I said and took my books and bag, hanging it over my shoulder.
"Whatever, I wanna sleep" she muttered tiredly and I shrugged my shoulders before heading towards the door, opening it.
"I'll go ahead, rest well Annie" I said and she just raised her thumbs up for me.
I stepped out the door before closing it, I decided to call Sam to ask her whereabouts because she's been kidnapped by Icer most of the time and that leaves me with Liz.
It's sunday today but James emailed me to meet him and some of our classmates today on the field to discuss something so I decided to take this chance to study on the library after the meeting.
"Tine, I'm on my way to the field now, James already brought breakfast for everyone so hurry up" Sam immediately said.
"Yeah I'm on way" I said, I sighed and entered the elevator.
I rushed towards the main building to bring my books on my locker before proceeding to the field, I saw my classmates sitting on a wide picnic blanket and a long table was set on the side where the foods are settled.
"There she is" I saw Liz waved at me, I smiled and walked over to them.
"Good morning" I greeted them and set my bag on the picnic blanket before taking off my shoes.
"Good morning" they responded, I was about to sit on next to my friends when I notice a certain someone getting busy on the side and didn't bother greeting me earlier.
"Wait a moment" I excused myself and walked over to him and sat next to him.
I quietly read his notes and it was the topic we discussed yesterday, he is really trying his best to review but his answers on his paper are wrong, I smiled took his pen and paper and wrote down the right answer in a shorter yet understandable way.
"There, that's better" I giggled and looked at him.
He was so shock to see me, my smile disappeared and was replaced by a frown upon remembering that he didn't even greeted me earlier.
"You're here" he muttered, I cross my arms and glared at him.
"I'm sorry" he looked down, scared as if he did something so cruel.
"Well that's a first" Troy laughed and Ace immediately glared at him.
"I was just joking" I chuckled then he looked at me and smiled.
"You look gorgeous as always" he complimented.
"Stop, I already know that" I nudged his shoulder and look over Liz and Sam who are now both busy talking to Icer and James, at least they've got company.
Me and Ace were chatting casually when James announced that it was time to eat, I remained on our spot while Ace insisted to get our food himself so I didn't argue back cause I know it will be no use.
We have our breakfast and James started to discuss the schedule for our review week, some of us have different schedules because we joined different clubs so James did his best to cope up with everyone and arrange the schedule.
"We can't have a review on saturday, we have a practice match with the Golden Gates Academy" Ace butted in.
"Again? Fine let's set the date on monday, anyone else?" James asked.
"Are you prepared for that?" I asked him.
"I'm not the team captain for nothing" he smirked, I shrugged and focused on what James is saying.
Well he is the best at anything but so am I, I may be his girlfriend but that doesn't mean that I'll let him shine alone, I should also work my way up so I need to practice hard on volleyball and of course, do my best on class as well.
"So our review sessions will last 4 hours and it will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and next Saturday. It should be starting at 7 on the evening, then on the next week that will be the examinations and after that we'll have a rest on the weekends before preparing once again for the sports fest, any complaints?" He asked.
"None for now" Icer responded.
"Okay then I guess that's it, I'll pass the report to the higher ups later, excuse, I still need to attend a meeting" James waved.
"Work hard James!" We cheered for him and he chuckled before taking his things and left.
After that we also left the field, Ace then brought us to the basketball court. Me, Sam and Liz sat on the bleachers while Ace taught Troy, Pierce and Icer on how to play basketball.
"Poor Icer, he only knows chess yet here he is, trying so hard" Sam laughed.
"I heard you Samantha" he fixed his eyeglasses and glared at her.
"Sorry, just spilling facts" she grinned, Icer then sighed before shooting the ball over the net and it went in.
My eyes widened and clapped for him while Sam pouted and looked away.
"You were saying?" He teased.
"Shut up" she muttered and I stood up.
"Can I try?" I asked for the ball and Troy passed it to me.
How does this go again? I hardly dribbled the ball and ran towards the net and attemped to shoot the ball but failed, I pouted but that disappeared when Ace patted my head and handed me another ball.
"You didn't do it properly, but it was close enough, watch my hand" he instructed and Troy passed the other ball to him.
He dribbled the ball on place and shoot the ball, I watched how his hand flicked and the other one supported the ball and it scored.
"Use your other hand to support the weight of the ball and the other one is to aim on the right angle" he instructed once more while pointing some spots on my hand.
"Okay I get it" I chuckled and dribbled the ball and followed his instructions and I did manage to score, I happily jumped before turning to him.
"You're a fast learner" he smiled then our friends started coughing out 'jealousy' viruses.
"Well I manage to score some point, now why don't we try volleyball?" I smirked.
"Great idea, now it's my turn to show off" Sam sneered, Liz rolled her eyes while I pulled Ace towards our covered gym.
Good thing I'm wearing some comfortable shoes today so I can move freely, I went to the storage room to get some balls while Sam and Liz set the net.
"I wanna try playing volleyball" Troy cheerfully took the ball from me and served it- but it failed cause the ball hitted the bleachers and it bounced back to Icer's head.
"Troy!" He scolded him.
"Sorry bro" Troy scratched his head.
I let Sam teach them the basics while me and Liz started to do a warm up, I toss the ball to her and she received it back to me, we kept doing the same drill until we heard the guys starting to complain except for Ace who is looking at Sam confusely, then he turn to me.
I chuckled before gesturing Liz to help Sam with the others while I help Ace, I played the ball on my palm while skipping towards him.
"How?" He asked, I grinned.
"Well wow, I thought you're good at everything?" I teased him.
"Are you really my girlfriend or not?" He asked annoyingly making me laugh.
"I am" I smiled then handed him the ball.
"As you can see, the basketball is heavier than the volleyball, your muscles are use to that weight so you need to adjust your strength" I lectured him.
"Now to serve" Liz passed the other ball to me then I walked over the end line of the court.
"Watch carefully" I told him before tossing the ball in the air before hitting it, to my suprise someone manage to receive it.
"Althea!" We cheered.
"Hey guys! So the humors are true? Gosh cousin, I just got into a vacation for 2 days and voila here you are, dating our official setter" she grinned and spike the ball to Ace hitting his stomach making him whinced in pain.
"You're cousins?" I asked him.
"Our mothers are twins so yeah" he explained and I look back at Althea.
They do have the same face structures and nose, the paleness of their skin are also the same, no wonder, visuality do runs in their blood line.
"We just started dating Thea and it's not my fault that you're not informed" Ace wrap his arm around me as Thea stopped in front of us.
"So, welcome to the family?" She teased, I blushed and hid myself behind Ace.
"Awe even in terms of having a relationship, you're still shy?" She chuckled.
"How can she be shy when they always make out on the balcony not minding if someone would see them" Sam smirked.
"Oh my ga- Death Jaxen Ace! D*mn you little brat! Ya! Where are you going?! Come back here! I'll tell this to auntie just you wait!" Thea chased him all over the gym.
"You think you can get away that easily huh?! What did you do to our precious setter?!" Thea pinched his ear.
"Aww Thea let go! I didn't do anything!" Ace said, poor him.
"It's just a kiss" I muttered unconciously.
"E-Eh?" Thea stuttered before throwing a deadly glare at her cousin before hitting him again with the ball.
"Well if it's just a kiss then I think it's an exemption" she shrugged and cleared her throat.
"Alright you three, you brought these boys here, clean up before leaving okay?" She told us.
"Yes ma'am" we responded and she giggled, she then throw a one last glare at her cousin before leaving the gym.
I jogged towards Ace and checked his condition, he frowned when he saw me smiling, well nevermind, at least he's still kicking alive.
"See? Now that's why no kisses" I jokingly said.
"That's mean" he muttered I messed his hair and handed him the ball.
"Serve" I said then he walked over to the place where I did my serve earlier.
I watched on the side, monitoring his movements, he did the exact same thing I did earlier making me shock, it's not just me who's a fast learner I suppose.
"Did I did it right?" He asked, I proudly nod my head and looked over Icer and Sam who is about to test his serving skills.
"You did great, not bad for the first time" I grinned and he smirk back at me.
"Now we're even" he muttered.
"This is not what I signed up for, I'm kicking balls not hitting them" Troy complained and attempted to serve the ball but it flew sideways.
"You're hopeless" Liz commented and he put his hand on his chest acting hurt.
"You're heartless" he argued but Liz didn't mind him and watch Pierce instead.
Pierce tossed the ball and did a little jump before hitting the ball and it landed on the other court perfectly, Liz cheered for him.
"Yey! Good job Pierce" she playfully nudged him.
Pierce smirked at Troy while he look back at him pissed. It ended when Icer served the ball and it also landed perfectly on the other side of the court making Sam cheered.
"That was awesome" Icer said while looking at his hand.
"Let's play?" Sam asked me.
"Sure" I picked the ball up and walked on the other side of the court, sitting on the bleachers comfortably.
After playing we cleaned up the gym and set the things back inside the storage room before leaving, the others separated from us and by the word 'us' it's just me and Ace once again.
"Remember when we got stuck inside the janitors closet on our 2nd year?" I asked him suddenly.
"What? About you blowing up to the whole academy that I have a phobia on close places? Yeah, I don't really care cause you look cute when you're celebrating your little discovery about one of my fears" he grinned, I pouted.
"You're not funny" I look away from him and stare at the fountain infront of us.
When did we end up here at the entrance of the academy? I look back at Ace when I heard him jumbling some coins on his pocket.
"What are you doing?" I asked his obvious action but he just smiled at me.
"Making a wish?" He raised an eyebrow, I grinned, I didn't know he believes these cliché plotting on movies.
"You're cute" I giggled and he just shrugged before closing his eyes for a few seconds then flicked his thumb making the coin fly up the fountain, even I- didn't see where it landed because of the sun's ray reflecting on the water.
"Your turn" he told me, I nod and took a coin on my pocket.
I smiled and closed my eyes, I know these things are just working on movies but it's not a bad thing if you try right?
'I wish that Ace will always stay by my side' I mentally uttered before flicking the coin towards the fountain.
When I heard the coin hit the water, I opened my eyes and turn to the person beside me with a smile.
"You're not gonna asked what's my wish?" He asked.
"Nope, let's just keep it a secret" I giggled then he pulled me close to him.
I feel so protected and comfortable when I landed on his chest, his embrace always makes me feel like I'm home, I snaked my arms on his back hugging him back.
"Tired?" He asked and I casually nodded my head.
"Okay, let's head back now" he gently took my hand and interwinded it with his as we walked back towards our building.
