Halfway of our preparations for the upcomming examinations are always ruined because of our different schedules, James on the other hand is giving us extra works every absence we made during our review sessions.
"I'm tired" I dropped the pen and leaned over Ace's swivel chair.
Yup, I decided to check out his room and he didm't even hesitate to pull me up here, his room is trice as large as mine and Annie's room, not to mention that this is just 'his' room.
"You haven't finish a half of your work, stop complaining" I turn towards the bed where Ace is busy reading a thick book.
"I'm not complaining, I'm just letting you know that your 'girlfriend' here is starving and you won't even let her have some snacks" I compiled and I heard him released a deep sigh.
"Alright, what does my girlfriend want to eat?" He popped beside me and I turn my chair over to face him.
"I don't know, anything from your cupboard I guess" I replied, he grinned and pinched my nose lightly.
"Okay, I'll just prepare somwthing special for you then, since you studied so hard" he smiled and I did the same, he left a kissed on my forehead before walking towards the cupboard that was settled on the mini kitchen of the room.
"Thanks Ace" I chirped happily and went back on my work.
Sam and Liz has plans with their admirers, Annie has a gymnast practice and Loraine is out with Clyde, for the first time in history, finally the two decided to settle things down.
I hummed to myself and played the pen on my fingertips, I think everything changes quickly, from what I can see, these changes are all positive and if these positivity continues, by the end it might have a chance to shuffle down to negativity.
Not that I'm doubting these chances, I'm happy with what's happening, me, Ace, my friends, our classmates, it's just so amazing, but I can't help but to think about the near future ahead of us.
After graduating, what will happened? I was positive enough to enter the military academy, but I need to cut ties with him during my training years, will I survive that? What if I'll just choose another course? Oh gosh, I don't know what to do.
"Babe?" I immediately turn around to see Ace carrying a tray of snacks with two glasses of lemon juice.
"Oh you're done" I smiled.
"You look troubled, is there something wrong with the topic your stuck with?" He asked softly and I shook my head.
"No, it's nothing, I'm just thinking some things" I chuckled, trying not to make him worry, he smiled and nod his head.
"Take a break for a minute" he said and we both walked over to the couch to have our break time.
As much as possible I don't really want to leave his side, it was only him, he is the reason why I'm okay now, unlike those past years of studying here, I'm always not myself, I rarely eat when tired and I can't even do the things I love before because I need to study harder to surpass him.
And now here I am, getting trap on his place so he can help me study.
"I'm so full, thanks babe" I grinned and give him a quick kiss on the lips.
"Hmm not appreciated" he mumbled, my eyebrow raised.
"What do you mean by that?" I groaned.
"This is how you should thank me"
I gasp left my lips when he suddenly pulled me to sit on his lap, then his hand lifted my chin up and captured my lips, I almost laughed at him for being demanding but suddenly flinched when his other hand squeezed my waist.
I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him close, I felt him smirk on my lips and his hand that was holding my chin, slid down to my thigh and rested it there.
Our lips move in sync, his tongue always winning, I whined and tried to catch up with his movements but he won once again and he then bit my lower lip harshly, I push him away and wiped the saliva on the corner of my lips.
"You can't just bite my lip like that" I glared at him and he chuckled, I touched my lower lip that he bit.
"Hmm, looks good, I should mark you more don't you think?" He smirked and I blushed.
"Y-you can't! We still have P.E class tomorrow, I can't afford to cover your love bites" I pouted he just smirked at me before tugging my left arm and raised the sleeve of my t-shirt up and didn't hesitate to kiss it.
I choke on my own saliva when he bit down my flesh harshly and I'm sure that it will leave a bruise, I felt his tongue circling around his bite and sucked on it.
I bit my lower lip and took a deep breath, it tickles and I think I'm already redder than a tomato, ish, this guy has really been so clingy after that fight of ours. I'm sure it'll mark so bad that could last for about a week.
"There, beautiful right?" He smirked, I pouted and looked iver my arm to see his teeth mark encircling a purplelish-reddish spot on my skin.
"Yeah, I think it will last for more than a week" I sarcasly said.
"I meant to do that" he said and played with my hair.
"Your teeth are sharp, I thought my skin's gonna rip out" I chuckled.
"So mean" he grinned showing off his canine tooth.
"Come on, let's go back and hit the books" I stood up and walked back to his desk to finish my work.
We both spend the day studying and asking each other sometimes for necessary things and that made me fill half my brain. I didn't even realized that I had skipped lunch, good thing Ace cook some friend chicken even if it's pretty late.
After eating, I helped him washing up the dishes and set it on the drying rack before heading over his bed.
I inhaled his pillow and it really smell like him, I hummed happily and hugged his pillow tightly then I heard him hiss behind me.
"Why hug a pillow when you can hug me instead?" He frowned, I opened my left eye and arched my eyebrow at him.
"Are you getting jealous because of a pillow? How childish" I mumured then suddenly he snatched the pillow away from me and throw it over the couch then laid beside me.
"Ah, Ace" I complained when he pulled me close to him as I laid on his arm and he then wrapped his arms around around me, hiding his face on my neck.
"Let's take a nap" he said.
"Fine" I gave up, well I'm already done with my work anyways, I'll just review it later after I shook this sleepiness of mine away.
I felt my eyelids getting heavy and my breathing became more comfortable by just inhaling his manly perfume, I sighed and just smiled with my eyes close as darkness overcome me.

I woke up when I heard someone arguing by the door, I yawned and tiredly stretched my arms.
"...we didn't sleep together I just waited til she fell asleep before I shifted to the couch and slept there" I heard Ace's voice.
I frowned and got up the bed and walked over the door, I found him talking to the angry Sam, confuse Liz, irritated Sofia and their boyfriends- Icer, Zen and Troy standing behind silently.
"What's up?" I asked, Ace turned to me and kissed my forehead.
"Nothing, they're just scolding me" he grinned, I looked at the girls and the guys behind them.
"Why? We didn't do anything, we just slept- well maybe it was just me" I explained, I felt Ace left my side earlier but I don't know what happened after because I fell back asleep immediately.
"Sure?" Sam asked and I nodded my head.
"Probably except for the mark-" Ace suddenly pulled me back cutting me from my words.
"You want me to get killed by them?" He whispered.
"We didn't do anything, I swear" I smiled at my friends.
"Hmp, fine I believe you, pack your things, we're going now" Sam instructed and I immediately ran back inside to gather up my things.
Ace handed me his extra notes making me grin, ah, I'm really lucky to have him as my boyfriend, he would do everything I would ask him too.
"I thought you keep your notes to yourself?" I smirked before snatching it away from his hands.
"Do you want me to take it back then?" He said seriously and I hid it behind my back.
"No thanks hehe, I'll go ahead, see you tomorrow babe" I smiled and tip toed to kiss him on the lips.
"Tsk, whatever, see ya" he snickered and kissed my forehead before sending me towards the door.
"Be careful ladies" Icer said and hugged Sam.
"Yeah I got it, that's enough Devarez" I pulled Sam away before turning to Ace.
"Take your dinner first okay?" he instructed I rolled my eyes.
"Yes sir" I giggled.
"Bye guys!" We waved at them before exiting their building.
After having our dinner, we parted ways and walked back towards our separated dorm rooms. I greeted Annie first before settling my things on my desk and entered the bathroom to take a warm short bath.
When I was done, I started reviewing my work from earlier, I also read Ace's notes and realized something, his hand writing is somewhat familiar to me.
To be honest, I never really take a good look on his hand writing, not until now. I lips swiped from left to right, thinking where did I saw this kind of hand writing.
I sighed and gave my thoughts away because I still have a lot of work to do, in the middle of silence, someone knocked on the door, me and Annie looked at each other before she finally stood up and walked over the door.
"Who is it?" She asked.
"It's me," I heard Pierce's voice from the other side of the door.
Annie sighed and just decided to open it revealing Pierce looking so troubled.
"Can we talk privately for a moment?" He asked almost whispering to her.
Annie fell silent for a moment before nodding her head and took her jacket with her.
"I'll be back" she smiled and I waved at her.
She closed the door and finally I am now alone, I wonder what will they talk about. That reminds me tho, is Pierce also part of a Mafia family? Who knows, I'm too afraid to ask because I'm also afraid of the truth that Ace is connected to that thing.
We can't be together if he came from a Mafia family, Military and Mafia don't go together, but who knows? Maybe he is just a normal rich and handsome guy that a lot of girls admire so much?
I shook my head and scolded myself for not concentrating on my work, I'm overthinking myself on things.

A gasp escape my lips when someone suddenly lifted me up like a sack of rice- throwing me over his shoulder, I blushed and hit his back.
"Ace!" I squealed, he chuckled and some students on the hallway just smiled at the scene before going back to their own bussinesses.
I'm quite greatful enough because my skirt is long enough to cover my upper legs.
"You look troubled enough these past few days" he said and walked over our classroom.
"I'm not, I was just thinking what to get you on your birthday" I pouted.
"That's so sweet of you babe but my birthday is still three months away" he commented, I rolled my eyes.
I didn't fight back and just waited for him to set me back on my foot, I hid my face when we walked past Sofia's group, ghad this is so embarassing.
When we got into the room he set me down on my desk and sat on my chair in front of me, I glared at him and he just shrugged before leaning his head on my lap, I sighed and played with his hair.
"He seems tired, did you guys do something last night?" I asked Icer.
"Yeah, we had a meeting" he answered, I nod my head understandingly.
He's been busy these past few days but he never pass a day without calling me or visiting me, I'm sure he is trying his best to take time with me but his health more important than that.
"You good?" I softly ask and he nod his head.
"Tine- Death excuse me, we need 3 copies for the examination schedule, do you mind?" James asked me.
"Sure, Ace why don't you take a nap here for a bit, I'll be back" I pat his head.
I heard his frowned but he lifted his head to meet my eyes, I smiled before hoping down my desk and took the paper that James was holding and leaned over his ear.
"If you behave so nicely, I guess I'll have to reward you with a lot of kisses then" I whispered to him.
"Fine, promise that?" He asked and I nod my head, he smiled before walking back to his desk and took a nap.
"Liz, come with me for a second" I called and she immediately rush towards me.
We both walked towards the library to have the schedule printed into three copies, the line was not long but looks like these students are printing their handouts so this could take a while.
I let Liz fall in line while I roam over the library to gather some books, we have an extra study session tonight and I want to fully discuss our Math later.
As much as possible, advancing some topics could help us but our main priority now is not to get more than 5 mistakes in the whole examinations, so we simply need to understand not just memorize the formula's needed.
I was looking for the last book that I'm going to need when I stumbled over something, I gasped escaped my lips as I let go of the books on my hand and I fell to the floor with my knees hitting the ground first while I use my arms to save my face from kissing the tiled floor.
I whinced in pain both from my arms and knees, I hissed before slowly sitting on the side leaning over the book shelf to check my injuries.
I lowered my knee socks to see a purplish hue on both my knees, I hurriedly hid it before looking over my arms, my left arm has a few stratches and my right elbow has a little bruise too, I sighed deeply, why am I so clumsy today?
I look over to see what made me trip over and to my suprise it was the book Twilight, I slowly picked it and flipped over the pages and saw a new blue paper with a black pen writing on it that says:
'You're not sure of that'
I smile to myself, why does he sound like Ace?
I froze immediately when I thought of him, I look at the letter on my hand and folded it before shoving it inside the pocket of my skirt, maybe I'll just borrow this for a while.
I stood up and returned the book to the shelf and started picking up the books that fell earlier before walking back to Liz.
"Took you so long" she frowned and I crack a little smile before turning to the 7 books in my hands.
"Took me a while to pick up these books" I replied, she sighed and turn to the printer to get the finished copies then we both headed towards the front desk to get the books scanned as 'borrowed' under my name of course.
After that, we walked back towards our classroom, we still have 5 minutes before the bell rings so there's no need to rush. When we got there, Liz handed James the schedule while I set the books that I borrowed under my desk.
"What's that on your arm?" I look behind me and saw Louanne's worried face, I bit my lower lip and looked over Ace, who is now looking at me seriously.
"U-uh, I-I just stumble over something" I answered.
"You should go to the infirmary" she said, I smiled and shook my head.
"It's okay, I'll just treat it later" I said and she just gave me an 'are you sure?' look before shrugging.
I gave him a smile as well before turning infront when the bell finally rang, I suppose Ace is not happy for what happened to me- well it's my fault that I trip over, I didn't bother looking on the hazard laying upon the floor and ended up getting injuries.
When lunch time came Ace wasted no time and pulled my hand as I let go of my things that I was fixing, he let me sit on Liz's chair and inspected my arms.
"What happened?" He asked lowly, doesn't sound so good, does it?
"I just tripped over something, don't worry it's just a small bruise" I said and he glared at me.
"Just tripped over something? And you end up having these injuries?" He asked, I sighed then he pulled my knee socks down.
"I'll take you to the hospital, Sam fix her things" he declared and my eyes widened.
"What? No! I'll just treat it on my dorm" I told him.
"Stop complaining" he said bluntly.
"Fine, infirmary will do" I said.
"Hospital-"
"Infirmary. Take it or leave it" I crossed my arms, he sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Fine, I'll get you to that fxcking infirmary" he said and carried me in a bridal way.
I gasped and held onto his shoulders while we travelled towards the infirmary, a lot of students are scattered on the hallway but that didn't stop Ace from walking in a fast pace just to take me there.
When we arrived the head nurse approached us and let Ace set me down on a free bed, Ace stood on the side watching every move that the nurse is making while I explained to her how did I get my injuries.
She examine my legs and arms, especially my joints because the impact was quite strong to have my legs got injured that badly.
"There's no broken bones, I'll just apply some ointment and perscribe you some medicine to get it healed in no time, if you're playing sports or aerobics please skip them for a while until the bruises are gone" she said.
"Are you sure ointment is enough?" Ace suddenly butted in, I frowned and glared at him.
"Possitive sir, I also advice to apply some cold compress when it stings, that could help" she assured while applying some ointment on my bruises before wrapping some bandage on it.
"Thank you" I smiled at her, she smiled back before fixing the medical kit.
"It's not a problem, it's our job to treat you guys" she chuckled before standing up.
"Rest for now, I'll be back with your medicine" she said and I thanked her once more before turning to Ace.
"Babe?" I called and his face softens immediately.
"What's the matter? Is it painful? Do you want me to get you something?" He asked nonstop, I chuckled.
"No, I want you to calm down, I won't die with these injuries" I grinned and he smirked.
"Oh really? Well you look like one when she's applying some ointment on your knees" he retorted making me groan.
"You're no fun, get out before I kick your *ss out that door" I arrongantly motioned at the door.
"You can't do that you're injured" he teased.
"No kisses" I fired back and his jaw dropped.
"What?! That's unfair!" He justified but I didn't reply, I just rolled my eyes at him and leaned over the head board.
A few minutes later, the door opemed revealing Sam and Icer who have ny bag and lunch, Sam sat beside me while Icer joined Ace on the couch that is settled on the side of the room.
"Thanks Sammie~" I gleed.
"Shut up, I shouldn't be doing this if it weren't for your clumsiness" she retorted and I pouted.
Not long when the head nurse came back with my medicines, I told Icer to take Ace out for lunch and the two didn't bother arguing back to me leaving Sam to watch over me.
Liz came too but she didn't really lasted for 2 minutes there cause she said that she has plans with Zen while Annie and Loraine are both out.
Well technically, Annie and Pierce has been hanging out after their past 'talk', I mean they're already off so why I wonder what's got into them.
I might be worried about her but I think it's not my place to judge her. After having my lunch me and Sam headed back to our classroom, of course it's still early that's why Ace is again beside me while James is announcing the possibility of our ranks changing.
"... so again, Cursetine's total points are a little higher than Death's but this still depends on the examination, congrats to you two" James announced I smirk before turning to him.
"Should I totally kick you off the rank mr. Salazar?" I joked.
"Try and beat me ms. Belfour" he smirked.
