"How is she? She almost stung you the last time you scanned her. Any updates, Culzean?"
"As far as what I have examined in her weakest state, her vitals were now stable. She's been asleep for almost a month now, doctor."
A smirk escaped the doctor's lips because of what he attended, he could still recall how the patient harmed the other nurses as well as the inmates.
"Hmm, certainly. Let's wait for her to attain consciousness. Let's run another test. Make sure to stay alarmed, I don't want any turmoil in her ward. Tell the security to focus more on her." After hearing small conversations, the door swayed open and the two physiatrists went out of the room. The patient moved her hand and even though her head sting she still managed to withstand it.
The doctors continued talking in the headquarters, they needed to assemble for what might occur in case their most awaited client wakes up. Her eyes opened, revealing those sapphire irises. She then roamed it around to scan the whole room. The compartment was huge, and there was only one small cell window on her right side. She could only see a small cabinet beside her bed and some settee near the door. Everything was white, but there were colorful scenery paintings on the walls.
She was surprised to see the clothing she was wearing, it was like an inmate uniform but it was invented for patients.
"Where am I?" She murmured and struggled to move, but unfortunately, she was being bound on her bed and tiny tubes were attached to her. She wanted to freak out but the door unlocked again. She had no option but to shut her eyes and delude to be still asleep.
The nurses arrived and tested on her. They took out a syringe and put medicine on it and vaccinated her right wrist. Even though she felt its irritation she still did not shift and stayed calm, her hands wished to tug the sitters and suffocate them to death.
The nurses discussed something relatively personal. "Why are they keeping her? Everybody knows how dangerous she could be, she almost killed Dr. Culzean and Miss Hyra."
"I don't know, they should sentence her to death. After all, she's needless, I wish she won't wake up. I want the operation to fail, I am sure that it won't be a success."
Upon having a small talk, they agreed to depart after a quick check-up. The patient was left, baffled. The confusion commenced to draw on her countenance, she kept on hearing familiar voices and names but she couldn't guess where it came from or what it was. It was within her mind.
She couldn't recall anything. But she can feel this impulse to murder somebody and compile their warm blood as she tries to work on the scents to make an addictive aroma. She feels like she is about to be out of her mind because of the strange feeling, she remained still and stared at the ceiling for a moment.
She's an addict, she was comprehended as a savage one. The physiatrist and physicians were scared of her too, something with her that would catch your attention.
Keegan Colson was abruptly thirsty so she sniffed. She is uneasy because of her headache. She was feeling unstable yet she managed to arise from her bed and strived to search for some sharp metal that would fit the locks. She was puzzled upon having the feeling of being in danger, she could sense that she needed to escape. On the bedside, she found a small hair clip near a metal tray. She doubts if it could help but she still tries her best to make it work.
"I must escape.."
Sweats were all over her forehead, it took almost 3 minutes before it was successfully unlocked. She heard a small click and hurriedly stepped down on the floor.
She breathed a sigh of relief and was ready to stand up when she realized that there were small tubes attached to her, the young woman tried to snatch it off her coat and it turned out it just bleeds down. She sneakily strolls near the door and silently eavesdrops.
Even though she felt the pain from the bleeding skin, she took it and quietly stepped forward. She heard a conversation between the two physiatrists, she couldn't hear them clearly but Ked still recalls some of what they've spoken of.
"They're sending me to the Thorsten Elite? What's happening?" She whispers in the disturbance. She waited for the doctors to enter the room, and there were two securities outside and she hoped that everything would be as planned.
The patient went back to bed and scarcely adjusted the locks that had been handcuffed on both hands and feet, she pretended as if she was senseless and prepared herself.
"Keegan Colson has been comatose for a month now. I don't know why the headmaster wants to conserve her. She's harmful!" One of the physiatrists mumbled as she sneaked over the doorknob.
The little girl waited for them to walk to her location. They've double-checked her since earlier, two nurses came for her check-ups too. The doctors just wanted to make sure if she's really in her typical state, they don't want to repeat what had appeared the last time she nearly slaughtered everybody in the jailhouse. That gave them trauma.
One of the doctors noticed the locks on her arms and feet, he leaned closer for him to see it evidently but unfortunately, the patient quickly clasped him by the collar and did not hesitate to twist the guy's head with full force.
At the speed of events, the doctor fell on the floor and was lifeless. Keegan tried to calm herself after inferring what she had done. She could not believe that she killed a person.
The other doctor strode behind as her eyes widened in fear. She saw the man's body as it fell over the floor, dead. Unable to say a word, she hastily ran to the doorway but Keegan Colson was too fast, she halted the doctor's direction before it could reach out for the door.
"Stop what you're planning to do, Colson!" The woman with a lab gown exclaimed as her knees started to tremble in anxiety.
The client gave her a warning sign, "Hush, the securities might hear you." She said with a terrifying grin.
This is what the doctor was saying, she already knew that the patient is dangerous! No matter what they do to erase her memory from the past, it's still no use. Colson might forget her memories but she can still sense familiarity. She was withstanding from a mental illness that resulted from her sudden attacks, being obsessed with something, and acting possessive towards someone who will catch her interest.
"... Answer me, and I will let you live."
"Why am I even here? What do you want from me?" The patient asked as she stepped towards the doctor and clenched her collar.
"Tell me everything you know!" Colson exclaimed. The woman struggled and tried her best to flee from the patient's grip. Out of frustration, the young lady strangled the doctor in an instant.
"You won't like it if I'll end your life, doctor. "
Eagerness could be seen from her eyes, the excitement to kill and the confusion she was feeling collided within her. She couldn't remember anything at all, her mind seemed blank and the thought that she needed to create another memory disheartened her.
"You've been comatose! You're suffering from a mental illness! Please hear me out, stop what you are intending to do." She answered between her breathing, the doctor struggled to speak properly as the patient tightened the grip on her neck. Without hesitation, she choked her to death.
When it halted, she finally released her grasp and then looked at her. She didn't shed any blood at all. She shortly took off the medic's uniform and wore it as a disguise. She badly wanted to flee right now. She impatiently put on the mask, fixed her hair, and took the stethoscope. She left the corpses on the floor and directly went out as nothing happened.
Two security people scanned her, she thought they wouldn't recognize something but before they could pull their pistols, she quickly struck the man on her left and stole the gun from him. Without thinking twice, she pulled the trigger and let the bullet hit the man's forehead. She did it to the other guy as well, gunshots echoed in the hallway, and before the other guards and professors found out about her escape, she then ran as fast as she could.
She's really quick. She got out of the place and acted like she was surprised by the gunshots she heard. No one caught a glimpse of her since she had not been seen by other officials working inside the Jailhouse for a long time, others never knew her face and only knew her name.
She addressed the security officers in the hallway, "Sir! I think something happened over there!" She shrieked in horror and ran quickly, out of the building. The other security outside reached the facility to check where the gunshots came from, not realizing that they just let an inmate escape.
She strode naturally as she went out of the gate and successfully got out. The authorities and the nurses were shocked as they saw the corpses on the floor of her room, they rapidly checked the whole area if something was missing. They can't just lose her, she's harmful.
"She escaped!"
It seems that the doctors can no longer explain how they feel right now, it is dangerous for anyone to meet Colson outside the jailhouse, especially because she just woke up from the operation. Her aggressiveness couldn't be controlled.
"Damn! Call the guards and search for the whole area, let's go to the city!"
Chaos filled the whole place as they began searching. They made sure that the other cells and wards are locked since their inmate patients need to be secured too. As long as she's moving freely outside together with the other people in the society then everyone will be in threat. She's not in her normal state, and doctors know that. Ked Colson is a type of patient who looks normal if you would stare at her but her every action is harmful. Her mind wasn't in a good condition, they needed to cure her.
"Wait 'till I find you, Colson. I'll never let you go again."
