CHAPTER 12

The next morning, Yuna woke up to an empty house. She yawned and rubbed her eyes, wondering where her father was.
Usually, Mr. Johnson was up before her, reading the newspaper and sipping on his coffee. But today, there was no sign of him.
She got out of bed and walked towards her father's room to check if he had left a note for her. As she entered the room, she noticed that something was off. There were papers scattered all over the floor, and the drawers were left open.
Yuna's intuition kicked in, and she started searching the room for any clues.
As she searched through the papers, she found documents detailing illegal transactions her father had made. She was shocked and angry at the same time.
Yuna spent the whole day poring over the documents and files, trying to make sense of everything. She discovered that Mr. Johnson had been involved in a massive money laundering scheme, and there were some high-profile individuals involved. She knew that if she took this to the authorities, it could ruin her career and reputation. But she also knew that she couldn't let him get away with it.
As the evening comes, Executive Eun, Detective Lee, and Officer Kim drove towards the warehouse, they knew that they were getting closer to the truth.
The air was tense as the two man approached the warehouse. The moon cast an eerie glow over the dark, deserted street, and the silence was only broken by the occasional rustling of leaves. Executive Eun, Detective Lee, and Officer Kim were all armed and ready for action. They knew they had to be careful - their enemies were many and they couldn't afford to be caught off guard.
As they entered the warehouse, the trio split up and began to search for any sign of their target. The only light came from the dimly-lit bulbs hanging from the ceiling, casting eerie shadows on the walls. It was quiet, too quiet.
Suddenly, a sound caught their attention. A faint whisper in the distance, followed by footsteps. They exchanged glances, knowing that they had to act fast. Detective Lee signaled to Officer Kim to follow the sound, while Executive Eun searched the other side of the warehouse.
Officer Kim cautiously made his way through the dark corridors, his heart pounding with anticipation. He reached a door at the end of the hall, and carefully pushed it open. Inside, he found Mr. Johnson and his associates gathered around a table, counting stacks of money.
Officer Kim quickly signaled to his colleagues, and they moved in to make the arrest. But as they approached, the suspects suddenly turned and drew their weapons.
A fierce gunfight erupted, with bullets flying in all directions. The three law enforcers ducked behind crates, returning fire as they tried to gain the upper hand. But the enemy was well-prepared, and their numbers were overwhelming.
Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, backup arrived in the form of a SWAT team.
As the gunfire echoed through the warehouse, Executive Eun, Detective Lee, and Officer Kim moved swiftly, their hearts pounding with adrenaline.
The SWAT team had arrived and they were making their way through the dark and eerie warehouse, searching for any sign of the elusive Mr. Johnson. Suddenly, they heard a deafening explosion from a nearby room, and they knew they were getting closer.
As they burst into the room, they were met with a hail of bullets from Mr. Johnson's heavily armed men. Executive Eun, Detective Lee, and Officer Kim quickly took cover behind some crates, exchanging fire with the enemy.
"Cover me!" shouted Officer Kim as he made a break for a nearby stack of crates. He was halfway there when a shot rang out, and he crumpled to the ground, blood streaming from his chest.
The team knew they had to act fast, and they rallied together to take down Mr. Johnson and his guards. They moved as one, their weapons blazing, taking out their enemies one by one.
After what felt like an eternity, the warehouse fell silent. The team cautiously made their way through the rubble, checking for any remaining threats.
As they approached a hidden room, they heard a faint sound coming from within. Detective Lee kicked open the door, and they found Mr. Johnson cowering in the corner, his hands shaking.
"I give up," he muttered. "Just don't kill me."
Detective Lee stumbled back, clutching his chest as he felt the searing pain of the bullet wound. He gritted his teeth and reached for his gun, but Mr. Johnson was already making a run for it.
With blood dripping down his shirt, Detective Lee gritted his teeth and pursued Mr. Johnson through the dimly-lit alleyways of the city. The chase was intense, and Detective Lee could feel his energy draining with every step. But he refused to give up.
As they turned a corner, Mr. Johnson suddenly stopped, and Detective Lee knew he had him cornered. But to his surprise, Mr. Johnson pulled out a grenade and pulled the pin.
As Detective Lee are going to arrest Mr. Johnson. Mr. Johnson pulled a gun and shot Detective Lee
Detective Lee's heart sank as he realized what was about to happen. He had only seconds to act, and he knew that he couldn't let innocent people get caught in the blast. With a fierce determination, he lunged forward, tackling Mr. Johnson to the ground just as the grenade detonated.
The explosion was deafening, and for a moment, Detective Lee was blinded by the bright light. But as his senses returned, he realized that he had survived. He staggered to his feet, his ears ringing as he assessed the damage.
Mr. Johnson wasn't as lucky. He lay motionless on the ground, his body was full of blood apart by the force of the blast.
