CHAPTER 23

As they reached the warehouse, Executive Eun signaled his few left team to take cover.
In the other side of the warehouse, Eun signaled his team to take up positions. They were now in a better position to take out the enemy.
Eun and his team fought back fiercely, using their training and firepower to take out Mr. Johnson's henchmen one by one. But when they got to the other side of warehouse, they realized that something was off. There was an eerie silence.
As they cautiously approached the other side of the warehouse, Executive Eun noticed that the front door was slightly ajar. He signaled his team to stay back as he entered it alone.
What he saw inside was a scene of chaos. The walls were covered in bullet holes, and there were bodies lying on the ground. But there was no sign of Detective Lee.
Executive Eun searched the every side and every part of the warehouse, but there was no trace of Mr. Johnson and Lee. He was about to give up when he noticed a small door at the back of the building. He cautiously opened it and found himself in a dimly lit room.
He looked around the room, searching for anything that could help him escape. And then, he saw it. A small piece of paper lying on the floor.
It had a code written on it. It was a series of numbers and letters that he didn't recognize. But he knew that this was the clue that someone leave it.
Executive Eun racked his brain, trying to figure out what the code could mean. He tried different combinations, but nothing seemed to work. As he back to his office he is trying everything to find out what it means.
But Executive Eun still don't know where to find Detective Lee. And Eun knows that he must solve the code to find Lee.
Detective Lee awoke to the sound of voices. He tried to move but found himself bound and gagged. Panic set in as he realized he had been taken captive. Detective Lee lay motionless on the ground, he closed his eyes, and breathing shallow. He strained to hear the conversation between the two men in the room with him.
Octavius and Mr. Johnson were discussing the success of their plan. Detective Lee listened closely, trying to piece together what they had done.
"Well done, Octavius," Mr. Johnson said, clapping his hands together. "I must say, I'm impressed. You really are a man of your word."
Octavius glared at Mr. Johnson, his eyes burning with anger. "I did what you asked," he said through gritted teeth. "Now give me what you promised."
Mr. Johnson chuckled. "Of course, of course," he said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a small envelope. "Here's your payment, as promised."
Octavius snatched the envelope from Mr. Johnson's hand and tore it open, counting the money inside. "It's all here," he said, nodding in approval.
Mr. Johnson smiled. "Good. Now, let's get rid of the detective's body and make sure there are no loose ends."
Octavius raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean, get rid of his body?"
Mr. Johnson sighed. "I mean, dispose of it. We can't leave him lying here for the police to find, can we?"
Octavius shook his head. "Not now, we can still use him," he said, his voice shaking.
"Why? Don't tell me you cared for him. Remember that you suffer because of him. Because your parents choose him over you. And the one who saves you when you have nothing is me." Mr. Johnson said as he trying to manipulate Octavius mind
Mr. Johnson's smile faded. "You don't have a choice, Octavius," he said, his tone turning cold. "You're in this as deep as I am. If you don't do what I say, I'll make sure you end up like the detective."
Octavius swallowed hard, the weight of Mr. Johnson's words sinking in. He had been foolish to get involved with this man, to let his greed blind him to the danger that lurked beneath the surface.
As Octavius recall everything his parents had given him up for adoption when he was just a baby, and he had grown up in the loving home and that is in Johnson family, what a cruel pathetic coincidence. Mr. Johnson had always been a strict father figure, but Octavius had never thought anything of it.
Mr. Johnson knows that it will happen so he planned for this moment.
He remembered meeting with Mr. Johnson earlier that day, but everything after that was a blur. He had a feeling that he had been drugged, but he couldn't be sure.
Octavius knows that he owes Mr. Johnson, but he knew better than to argue. He had a feeling that Mr. Johnson was not a man to be trifled with.
As Detective Lee still knowing the truth about Octavius, his twin brother.
Detective Lee remembered what happened at the warehouse
He entered the warehouse with Octavius, and he was attacked from behind and knocked unconscious. When he woke up, he found himself tied up and at the mercy of Octavius and Mr. Johnson.
Detective Lee struggled against his restraints, but they held firm.
Meanwhile, Octavius and Mr. Johnson continued to talk, unaware that Detective Lee was listening in on their conversation. As they discussed their next move.
As they spoke, Detective Lee's mind raced. He knew he had to stop them before they could carry out their plan.
