CHAPTER 10

Yuna had been running for hours, her legs aching and her breath coming in ragged gasps. She had managed to evade her pursuers so far, but she knew it was only a matter of time before they caught up with her.
Suddenly, she found herself in a dead end alley, with no way out. She turned to face her captors, steeling herself for the worst.
But what she saw surprised her. Mr. Johnson was there, his face twisted in anger and frustration. "Why did you run?" he demanded. "Don't you know who I am?"
Mr. Johnson's face softened slightly. "I'm your father," he said. "I've been looking for you for a long time."
Yuna was stunned. "Don't come near me."
Just when she thought all hope was lost, she heard the screech of tires and the sound of a car engine. Detective Lee and Officer Kim had arrived just in time to save her life.
"Get in the car!" yelled Detective Lee as he jumped out of the vehicle and aimed his gun at the men who were chasing her.
Attorney Yuna didn't hesitate. She ran towards the car and jumped into the back seat as Officer Kim slammed on the gas pedal and sped away from the scene.
As they drove away, Attorney Yuna could hear the sound of gunshots ringing in her ears. She knew that Detective Lee and Officer Kim were risking their lives to protect her, and she felt a surge of gratitude towards them.
"You're safe now," said Detective Lee, turning to look at her in the back seat. "We'll take care of everything from here on out."
Attorney Yuna nodded, still in shock from the events of the past few minutes.
But she knows now how to handle the case
They had come up with a plan: Attorney Yuna would go to Mr. Johnson's mansion and try to gather evidence against him. It would be risky but it is the only way.
Yuna arrived at Mr. Johnson's mansion,Attorney Yuna. Feeling a sense of unease wash over her, dressed in a smart suit and carrying a briefcase.
"Hello?" she called out, but there was no answer. She stepped inside, her heart pounding in her chest. She had a bad feeling about this.
Suddenly, she heard a noise coming from upstairs. She crept up the staircase, her hand on the railing for support. When she reached the top, she saw her father's bedroom door was open, and the room was in disarray. The sheets were pulled off the bed, and the drawers were pulled out of the dresser.
"Mr. Johnson?" she called out again, her voice trembling. "Are you here?"
There was no answer. Yuna felt a sense of panic rising in her chest. She had to find her father, but she didn't know where to start. Suddenly, she heard footsteps coming from down the hall. She spun around, her heart racing.
"Who's there?" she demanded, her voice steady.
A figure appeared in the doorway, silhouetted by the light coming from the hallway. Yuna could see that it was a man, but she couldn't make out his face.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, taking a step back.
The man stepped forward, his face still hidden in the shadows.
"I could ask you the same thing," he replied, his voice deep and menacing
Yuna knew that she was in trouble. She had to think fast if she was going to get out of this alive. She took another step back, her hand reaching for her purse.
"I'm here to see my father," she said, her voice shaking. "He's not answering his phone, and I was worried about him."
The man stepped closer, and Yuna could see now that he was holding a gun.
"Your father has some important business to me that should be done," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "A lot of money. And I intend to collect."
Yuna's mind was racing. She had to get out of here, but she didn't know how. Suddenly, she had an idea.
"Look, I'm an attorney," she said, her voice steady. "Maybe we can work something out. Maybe we can come to an agreement that's beneficial for both of us."
The man hesitated for a moment, considering her offer. Yuna saw her chance and lunged for the gun, hoping to disarm him. But the man was too quick. He grabbed her by the arm and twisted it behind her back.
"You shouldn't have done that," he said, his voice cold.
Yuna felt a searing pain in her arm, and she knew that it was broken. She had to get away before he could do any more damage. She kicked him in the shin, hoping to distract him, and then she bolted down the hallway.
She heard the man's footsteps pounding behind her, and she knew that she had to be faster. She sprinted down the stairs, her heart pounding in her chest. She could see the front door in the distance, and she knew that if she could just make it there, she would be safe.
