She wore an Ankara attire, splashed with touches of lemon green lace. She looked breathtaking but gloomy.
I guess there was something she forgot in my house. Could it be she is up to another thing? Her face looked mean and dangerous. Those were my thoughts.
'Aren't you happy to see me, Derin?' She jolted me to reality.
'Oh forgive my manners, girlfriend. Come right in, sweet!'
'Cut the pleasantries, Dr Derin and tell me what this thing is doing in your house?' She declared pointing to Lilian in a despicable manner.
I opened my mouth and was dazed to hear this from her mouth. Though she has a reason to be bitter but not to the extent of insulting Lilian. Lilian does not know her and has no business with her. It's Phillip's fault.
Before I could respond to her, Lilian yelled at her.
'Who the hell do you think you are talking to? Me, a thing? You are uncultured. Instead of you taming the dangling thing in-between your fiancee's leg, you are here insulting me. Who knows if you are the reason behind his predicament?
'Are you insane, you slot of a thing? You low-life prostitute. You made yourself so cheap that he got you and your sister without sweating.
You may have succeeded in getting pregnant for him but his heart is with me.' She boasted swaying her hips.
Lilian's bursts of laughter made me laugh too. If only she knows that Phillip does not love her but only see her as a wife for keeps, she would have kept her cool.
'Oh, you mean Derin is mocking me?' She cried out, with surprise written all over her demeanor.
'That's enough all of you'.Isaac spoke out, taking charge.
'Can you believe that Derin my friend is making fun of my predicament.' She said turning to Isaac.
'Listen to me girlfriend, I have respected you enough. I'm only surprised that you do not know Phillip enough. Phillip is a born cheat. He only loves himself and his sexual appetite. If he truly loves you he would not do the things he did' I spoke out.
'Listen to me, Phillip is a changed man now. I will plead with you to forgive him and move on with your life.' Isaac pleaded to her.
And what she did shocked all of us.
She rushed into Isaac's arms and clung to him. Isaac was dazed but not to hurt her feelings just allowed her. As he tried to remove her body away from his, she said, with all seduction.
'Isaac please, I'm comfortable in your arms. I need you to be my succour. Please, do not say no!'
Lilian looked at me and shook her head. I froze and could not talk. It was damn too strange to me.
She clung to him, stroking his hair and planting kisses all over his neck right in our eyes and Isaac was allowing her to have his way. It was too much for me to take.
I did not know the time I shouted on Isaac,
'How convenient for you to do this in my house?'
'Isaac is mine now, you bitch!' Kate yelled at me!
'Oh, so it's revenge right!' I declared calmly.
'Yes, it is. I learnt you had a fling with my Phillip. So I made up my mind to get Isaac. Tit for tat.' She announced with a smirk on his face.
' Wow, you are insane, Kate or whatever your name is. Isaac is not your type. He is a real man!' Lilian boasted.
'Derin, calm down, she is in pain. This is what we call trauma. Be empathic.'
'What! Is that your response?
The two of you are smooching yourself right in my house. Look at the man that was proposing to me just an hour ago?' I screamed.
'Take it easy Derin, please understand Isaac. He is your man forever.' Lillian intercepted hugging and patting me on the back.
'I can not stand this anymore, this is unbearable.' I expressed.
'Stop this right now, Derin!' Isaac pushed Kate aside and moved over to my side. Lilian released me and Isaac hugged me for the second time in my life. Torrents of desire welled up inside of me, I laid my head on his shoulder and wept like a baby while he patted my back.
Lilian screamed for joy and clapped her hands.
'I'm so proud of you, Isaac. You are the real man. Oh my God, give me a good man like this.'
'You can never get one like this for getting down with my man.' Kate yelled.
'Yes, I can never get one like Isaac because his type can never be mine. But I will get my type I bet you. Sure you have spoken well. Just go with your ill luck. You miserable lady!' Lilian jeered.
'Who is miserable? Is it me or you that will deliver a child with no responsible father or husband.' Kate mocked.
'Thank God for my child. Blessed boy! I'm happy that I will be a mother soon. Hmmm.' Lilian expressed with a face spread with joy.
'Congratulations to you, Lilian.' I shouted.
Kate hissed like a snake and left my house in shame.
