'All is well that end well' Isaac declared feeling good after the court wedding of their friends, Dr. Phillips and Kate. It was a great occasion well attended by medical men and women. Could you imagine that Phillip was in attendance with her fiance, Lilian, brimming with smiles.
Isaac and Derin were the best man and the best lady. The reception was great with the two of them dancing to a wonderful music by Ada Ehi,from Nigeria.
"Congratulations, you've seen the glory of God.
Congratulations, He has done it for you.
And you will come back with a new song, to sing, God is good oh!
Yes, you will come again with a new song of praise, God is good oh!
Congratulations!"
What a great time of praise to God for wiping away the tears of the couple.
"All is well that ends well, you say, bro Isaac?" Derin replied with a furrowed face.
"Why this strange look, Dr Derin?" Isaac calls her, Dr when he feels disappointed her.
"You are not sensitive enough Isaac. I should say, Dr Isaac. For how long are we to wait before we get married! Ha ha, Phillip and Lilian are going to wed at the court next week. We are their best man and best lady. I'm not happy." Derin complained with a pouted lips, arms locked up staring into space.
"I believe that you should know that I hate comparison. I don't believe in rushing things either. Why are you bent on running another's race. There is a time of glory for everyone. Our day is different from others. God has his special timing for each and everyone. Stop this my love. Come on here, will you?" Isaac gently drew her to himself.
They were in his house for the very first time. He breathed hard and tilted her face to see her clearly so she thought, but he rebuked her instead, in love.
"Never never doubt my love for you again. It's solid, settled and cannot be replaced by any lady in the whole world. Get it?"
"Okay pastor, I am very sure. Only I can not wait any longer." She whispered enough for him to hear her.
"Do you think it's quite easy to wait a minute further? But I know that I have to wed in the church as an encouragement for others. Let's follow what the pastor told us. He wants us to go through the marriage committee."
"Those people are mean. They like to make things difficult for people. " I complained.
"Don't worry about them. We have passed through worse scenario. Against all odds, we have crossed many obstacles to be where we are now. Who could have believed that Derin who was to marry an old chief years back would still be single?"
"Yes, I learnt the chief died last week. I'm still single but not searching. I'm marrying my brother this year."
"Yes by His grace. It's in two months time."
Two months after.

That was the song, Dr Derin asked to be sung by the choir for her as she walked down the aisle to meet her heartthrob, Isaac.
Her heart was beating very fast and could not believe that she has indeed overcome all struggles to be with Isaac, the only man who has got her back in season and out of season.
Isaac was confident with a gentle smile on his face. He had looked forward to see today. This is what he pictured in his mind to be wedded on Children's Day. Wow, it is a day of joy for him. It's the day her mom gave birth to him. God worked it out in a way he did not expect.
The pastor wanted June, because he thought he had a programme in USA. But it was postponed. Dr Isaac declared to the pastor that it was because of his special day.
Dr Derin and Dr Isaac went to the altar on May 27. Dr Isaac was in a while suit, looking hot and handsome, while the bride was stunning, in her beautiful white wedding dress. Her innocence showed forth, looking so radiant at the age of 29.
Dr Derin was so young that you will think she is going to be 21.
Against all odds, she survived early marriage to an old man.
Against all odds, she went to the university by sponsoring herself.
A bread seller became a model.
A bread seller went to study Medicine.
A bread seller went abroad and became a consultant.
Against all odds, she became Dr Isaac's wife.
Never lose hope in God.
He is more than able to accomplish all that concerns you. God is able to do much more than you ever dream of.
