After the music class was over, I stayed put on my position, most of the students leaving the class for their next, I can still see the way few of them are staring at me, the teacher too might have found my speech insulting, but their was no evidence to that, my words were more about concern to him than insult. He still take a glance towards me as each seconds pass, I was about to stand and leave when I felt a hand on my back, turning around, I was stunned, really taken aback because she was the last person I expected to see here.
“ What are you doing here Rose?”.
I asked with a whispering voice, the teacher still peeping at me from time to time, I grabbed her hand as I draw her hand with me, making her to follow suit behind me.
“ What are you doing here Rose?, Hope you are not trying to do the exact thing Brian did, incase he didn't inform you, he was humiliated after they found out what he was doing ”.
I can hear the anger in my voice as I speak, I really don't want her to experience such embarrassment just like Brian, she doesn't have to come here for any reason, who would even look after the gym handed over to her?.
“ I registered into the school Ben, I have been following along with all the lectures all this while with the help of Brian, I have always wanted to go to college and Brian decided to help me in my studies by his actions, you don't have to be afraid of any humiliation towards me because none is coming..... I want you to calm down about the situation, I know what I am doing”.
With a heavy stare and confusion still written all over my face, I decided to release her hand, to let her be, not because she has cleared me of my misunderstanding, but because I have another class I have to be in right now.
“ We will talk about this later, be careful and stay out of trouble, I will get back to you when the school is over ”, I walked away from her as I made my way to the Economics class.
     With all eyes on me and few fingers poking towards me, I know that I am definitely the talk of the day, they should enjoy it while it lasts, because very soon, all the laughters will be mine. We're in the break period, giving our heads some rest for the activities that has been going on today, I was standing in my locker, back placed on the metal door, my head rested on it too as I shut my eyes, wandering in a total darkness, giggles continue increasing as students pass in front of me, I have this urge inside of me to run into the toilet and lock myself in there, I kept losing my cool as the day gets by, I am trying to stay strong and show everyone that I am in charge here, but no, you can't change everything overnight, but you can change the scenario by turning around from the wrong way and taking a step on the right path. One question continuously keep revolving inside my head, what would Mr Peter do.
     The Mr Peter I saw in the office this morning automatically became a role model of mine in an instant, he exuded confidence right in front of the principal, I saw the discomfort look on the principal's expression today and that's when I decided that I will become Mr Peter, I will take control of my situation and always keep calm with a blank bold expression.
“ Here..... some water for you ”.
I opened my eyes to see Steve standing right in front of me offering me a drink, he was eating a cheese which he held in his other hand, I hesitated a bit, but decided to take it from him, if I don't take the water, then I am as much as deceiving myself just to suit everyone staring at us, I shouldn't let their actions control me, I should be the one to control them with my actions.
“ You know I saw your girlfriend here in the school..... I was wandering whether you knew about her presence here ”.
“ Rose is not my.........”, “ suit yourself bro ”, he winked at me with a smile on his face, not allowing me to finish what I had to say, as he went on his way.
     The school was over, I was on my way to where Steve's car was parked when I suddenly walked in on Rose.
“ Hey ”.
She turned around, saw me standing right behind her as her lips gets wide with on a smile.
“ We need to talk ”.
