“ So how did it go?..... any shocking information for me?”.
I don't care whatever he was about to say because it's definitely nothing more than trying to create something to laugh about, which I am not that interested on because Deborah is still someone I find valuable and I protect whatever is valuable to me, not even talking bad behind their back.
“ Common..... Tell me, I am just curious to know what you two spoke about ”.
“ No need, it's nothing important ”.
He stopped pressing, knowing that I am never going to share our conversation with him, he seems to have figured me out already with the little amount of time I have lived under their roof.
“ She's not going to be alone after all, she's an attractive girl who's definitely going to find someone who is willing to ask her out ”, Steve said, looking a bit sure of his guess.
“ What about you..... Anyone in mind?”.
I asked him, he didn't turn towards me, just keeping his face forward, nodding slightly as if he was in thought, is his head movement signalling his answer or he's just thinking?.
“ Answer my question stubborn head ”, I pressed, backing it up with a smile, trying to make him relax and share whatever he has in mind with me.
“ You will find out later ”, he winked at me, then walked off.
     Sitting outside with few of my teammates, Steve was there with us too, our last exams will be starting next week and Prom will be next to follow suit, so we was just talking about our girls, everyone speaking about whom they would be going to Prom with, Steve didn't mention any name, saying he was still hunting for the perfect candidate. Yeah, someone like Steve can say that, candidates. Every girl in this school would like to be the one he would chose, everyone finds him attractive and sweet.
“ What about you Joe..... Who's gonna be the lucky girl for you, have been seeing you with different girls as of late ”, Steve asked him.
“ Rose....... maybe ”.
     I was definitely never interested and invested in the ongoing conversation because I am still fitting in, but immediately her name pops out from his mouth, my brain reset to default, I jumped up from my position as I turned towards him, stareing him in the eyes.
“ What the f**k did I hear you say?”, anger rushed through my veins, I can't see my reflection right now, but I can tell that my expression wasn't something anyone will take as a joke, their faces said it all, all of them stareing at me, including Steve who just shut his mouth, nothing to say about this situation.
“ Don't overreact man, I was intentionally pulling your legs, I know you will react this way if I called her name ”.
Joe was already on his feet incase I was to just go for him blindly, attacking him for pushing my patience to the corner. 
“ Don't you ever play with her name again, and don't you ever go looking for her anymore.... I don't f**king like your company with her after all ”.
The mood of everyone changed after that outburst from me, I know we shouldn't show people how we feel inside but at least I knew my threat signaled him that I am never to be messed with, he should stop sticking his nose on another man's food.
     Walking out of the class after school, I saw Rose standing beside my locker in the hallway, Steve gave me a slight touch on the shoulder before pointing outside. I understand what he meant, he's outside waiting for me, I went straight to Rose who wouldn't take her eyes off me as I approached her, that mesmerizing look always on her face, always charming that I find it hard to resist, Joe was just lucky he was kidding about his comment, if he was to be serious about that, I am definitely getting into another school fight with him, can't forget my fight one with Steve, such a nice memory to always remember.
“ Hey ”, she greeted.
“ Hey ”.
I stood in front of her, taking in that beautiful look on her face, trying to remember every feature there, so when she's not around, I can still picture her vividly like she was standing right before me.
“ Joe told me about how you threatened him today because of me, I never knew I had a strong protector of planet earth as my boyfriend ”.
She said. It was definitely a sarcasm, who am I to protect earth, I am not even a soldier, but I like it, I like her compliment, so refreshing and powerful.
“ Something are meant to stay hidden ”, I whispered in her left ear before giving her a kiss on her neck.
