" It's Currently Twenty minutes to the new year. What do you suggest we do in those twenty minutes? " Brother's voice rang interrupting me from my thoughts.
" Oh... Why don't we just sing? " I said in a reflex.
Realizing what I had just said, I wanted to take it back but well, it was too late.
" Um... That's a good idea. So which song do you suggest we sing? " He asked softly.
" Em... I had been listening to a song recently which is titled, If the world Is ending. "
" If the world is ending by JP Saxe? "
" Yeah... I didn't know you had heard of the song before. "
" I have. " He replied before adding, " Isn't it weird that you suggested the song? "
" Well... I guess so, since the song is for lovers. "
" Yeah... "
" I just love the lyrics, so...... "
" It's very obvious... " He checked his phone clock before saying, '' Seventeen minutes to the new year. "
" Oh... So what do you think? Should we sing it? "
" It's not like I have a choice anyways. "

" Not when it comes to my little sister. " He said with a chuckle.
I couldn't help but smile at this.
I unlocked my phone and searched for the song on my music player, I found it in no time and tapped the play button.
" You are going first, brother. " I informed him.
" I know right. " He said with a smile.

He cleared his throat twice before starting.
" I was distracted

As he sang, I couldn't help but envision the scene explained in the lyrics
And at the same time, I began to think of an inspiration for a story that would somehow be related to the song.
Crazy right?

We were silent for about a minute as I stared at the night sky in silence, " The sky is beautiful. I can see a beautiful year ahead of us. I can see dreams and desires getting fulfilled. I can see happiness ahead.... A blissful year is waiting for us... A year full of joy and happiness. A year of success, promotions, a year of achievements and greatness... It's going to be an amazing year... " At that moment I didn't realize what I was saying, the words just Continued to flow out of my mind unconsciously.
I felt my brother wrap his hands around me as he placed his chin on my shoulders, " Yeah... It'll be an amazing year for us all indeed. " He said in his masculine voice.

I turned to face him and we were staring at each other eyeball to eyeball.
All I could see in those orbs was pure love... There wasn't any sign of lust or something of that sort.
All I could see was pure love, affection and adoration.
It was just too beautiful.
" I... " I choked on my words under his gaze.
" I love you, Little Princess... " He said as he took my right hand and left a peck on it.
" Love you more, Elder Prince... " I replied in the same manner as a tear fell out of my eye.
" Umm... " He mused as he wiped out the tear that fell out of my eyes.
" Thanks for coming Into my life and making me realize that I could be a better me. Thanks for making me realize that I am good enough. That I could do better. That I am meant for greatness. Thanks for making me feel loved and wanted. Thanks for helping me to be the best of me. Thanks for always being there for me. Thanks for always providing a shoulder to cry on. Thanks for always listening to my complaints. Thanks for everything, Brother... I don't know if I'll be able to repay the favor of everything you've done for me brother. I just want you to know just how thankful I am for everything... " I said with tears in my eyes.
