I walked back to my desk fuming.who told that asshole that he had a right to fucking yell at me? I sat down boiling until it was time to leave. He walked out of his office jacket in hand,I didn't look at him or acknowledge him.He started walking away,then stopped and turned to me.
"I'm sorry for yelling" He said quietly,and this time he was actually looking at me and maintaining eye contact. All anger from before sort of melted. But I wasn't going to just let it go.
"I understand if you don't think I deserve this job because honestly I think so too and I understand if you don't like me...."
" You think I don't like you?" He interrupted I nodded and he looked at me like I just said the most absurd thing in the world.
"I like you" He said slowly,in such a thick low voice that my heart skipped a beat and I swallowed and turned away my cheeks red
".....in a platonic way" He added and I almost smiled.
"The point is that I want you to treat me like your secretary. I want to actually work for you" I said firmly and then I realized that I was speaking to him informally so I quickly corrected myself.
" I want to actually work for you.....sir" I said again and he chuckled,he looked more attractive when he smiled.
" Okay then,I'll treat you like you work for me.Are we good?" He asked still smiling and I nodded.
" Thanks,we're good...sir" I said.
" You don't have to use formalities with me we're like the same age" He finished and walked away. I smiled again,I guess things are finally completely working out for me.

I stopped by a street cart and got corn dogs.When I got back home,Jason and Jenny were in the kitchen cooking.They both had an apron on.It was made me so happy seeing them together I walked towards both of them.
" Hey stranger" Jason greeted, pulling me into a hug.
" Hey Lia" Jenny also greeted.
" Hello my favorite people... what's the occasion?" I asked curious about what they were cooking.
" Well,I found this recipe on the internet and since Jason basically had nothing to do,I told him to try it with me" Jenny replied and Jason kicked her playfully.I laughed.
" Oh well,look what I've got?" I said and I brought out the corn dogs I got.
" Corn dogs for everyone" I said in a sing-song manner and Jason excitedly collected about 3, he loved corn dogs.i smiled.
"What's the occasion?" Jason asked biting into the corn dog already.
" Well....you remember my grumpy boss? The one who wouldn't even talk to me? Well we talked today and it's all settled. He says he likes me,but like...in a platonic way" I said
"Oh...welljust be careful. You know how rich people are"Jason replied in a serious tone and I rolled my eyes.
"Yes yes...rich people suck and we hate them...I've got to go change" I said and turned to give Jenny who was quietly listening to our conversation a tight hug,then left for my room.

I got to the office as early as I could the next day. Arranging everything properly every few minutes.When he finally arrived,he walked up to me.
"Good morning" He said with a bright smile,my heart skipped a beat.
"Good morning" I got up and opened his office door and bowed then he entered and closed it.

As soon as I closed the door,I rested behind it trying to calm down my rapidly beating heart and the wild smile on my face. I was indulging.I know,but seeing her smile made me so incredibly happy. And she said she thought I didn't like her and I didn't want her to think that way.So we'll maintain a boss-employee relationship,I will pay my debt to her by being nice and providing everything she wants while also maintaining a safe distance.I can control my feelings. I sat down and took off my jacket.Then got to work.

About two hours later,I heard a knock and the door immediately opened before I even talked.Dahlia walked in looking weirdly uncomfortable.
" I'm so sorry,but I have a family issue can I leave right now?" She asked looking down. I got up and walked up to her
" What's up?" I asked concerned.
" It's my sister, apparently she pushed someone off the stairs and now they want to punish her" She replied voice breaking. Seeing her so sad was painful to watch.
"I'm so sorry,of course you can leave" I replied and she bowed and turned to walk away. I held her hand.
" Do you want me to come with?"
" Why would you do that?" She asked confused,Good question.
"I'm...I'm not really busy at the moment and you seem to need help to get to her school right? I can drive you, it's faster.I just...like helping people". I replied hoping she buys it. She hesitated for a minute and then nodded.She was probably desperate.I took my coat and my car keys and then we left.
We arrived at the school about half an hour later and Dahlia told me to stay in the car while she ran off. I waited for about 30 minutes and I couldn't do it anymore. I got restless,she probably needed my help,so I walked into the school and then had the security direct me to the head teacher's office.I knocked and a young girl opened the door she raised her eyebrows in confusion and I smiled at her then entered. Dahlia was sitting on a chair in front of the head teacher and The girl from before was standing and I figured that she was probably Dahlia's sister. Dahlia looked up at me with confusion and anger.
" I couldn't wait" I said and she glared.
" Who are you?" The head teacher asked clearly confused. I sat down
" Family friend of Dahlia's " I said and looked at Dahlia.Who was still glaring.
" Well as I was saying earlier,Jenny is usually a good girl,a smart one too I just don't know what's up with her recently" The head teacher said.
"I'm so sorry Mrs jones.I will be sure to punish her when we get home.Just please let this slide for once" Dahlia replied pleadingly.
" Punish me? Those girls started it!" Dahlia's sister snapped and dahlia shot her a look.
"Well I wish I could help,but the parents of the girl Jenny pushed want to press charges" The head teacher replied.
" She didn't even sustain any injury!" Jenny said upset.
" Shut up!"Dahlia shouted and then turned back to the headteacher.
"Fu.. isn't there anything I can do to stop that? I can formally apologize,Jenny and I just please get them to not press charges" Dahlia replied,her eyes had gotten red.I knew I had to do something.
" Who are the girl's parents?" I ask and everybody turned there attention to me except the head teacher was the only one not glaring at me.
