I heard a continuous knock on my door,I called for Jenny or Jason to go open it but no one answered,I finally went to open it myself. Michael was standing at the door. I glared at him.
"What do you want from me?" I asked and he held on to my hand tightly.
" I want to be with you" He replied and I knitted my brows in confusion.
"What?,you literally told me yesterday that you didn't have any feelings for me"
" I was being stupid,let me in please" He said and I stepped aside and he entered,I pulled me along with him and took me to my bedroom.
" I think we should be together" He said and brought his hand closer to my face, tucking a strand behind my ear.My heart skipped a beat.
"I've always wanted to do it" He muttered quietly and brought his face closer to mine,I hesitated at first but then I closed my eyes gently,and then...I heard a loud bang on my door and I woke up.
"You're late for work!!!" Jason screamed from the other side of the door and I opened my eyes properly,I was sweating and it was a dream. I fell back unto the bed.
Fuck.

I stayed longer under the shower that morning,I didn't care that I was late,I was upset and I had embarrassed myself the other day by asking if he liked me,and now I was dreaming about him.life is unbelievable unfair. I got out of the shower and got dressed then I went to the dining room,Jason was eating breakfast which was toast and tea,I sat down.
"Do you have some for me?" I asked and he looked at me surprised.
"I did,you're eating breakfast today? But you're already late" He said and I shook my head
"I don't care,he can't fire me anyways,he's a sympathetic person" I replied emphasizing "sympathetic" Jason narrowed his gaze.
"Are you okay Lia?,if your boss did anything I will help you deal with him" He said concerned and I shook my head.
"Nothing I can't handle,now please pass me a bit if toast" I said and he replied,I finished eating and then went to work.
When I got there it was around 10,so I figured he was already around,I sat at my table hoping that he didn't call for me,since I was still angry at him. A few minutes later,Anna arrived.
" Morning" I greeted with a fake smile and she nodded,knocked his door and entered,she didn't even bother to talk to me anymore these days. 'i don't like Anna' my foot,he totally likes her. I buried my head on the table and muttered.
"I fucking hate rich people"
"Honestly...me too" A voice replied and I raised my head up immediately,it was Jessica's boss, attorney John, I immediately bowed my head.
"I'm so sorry,I didn't actually mean that" I quickly added and he chuckled.
"Nah it's okay,Anna is here right?" He asked with a broad smile and I nodded.
"Thanks,I think it's unfair that Micheal gets to have you all to himself,maybe we could swap secretaries from time to time" He said with a smug look and I hoped that my face wasn't reflecting how disgusted I felt at that moment,I faked another smile and he entered the office.

John entered and I rolled my eyes,I didn't understand why he had to get him. After what happened yesterday,I called Anna since I couldn't keep it to myself any longer, especially since she already confronted me, I knew she was angry at me and I wanted to make things right,I wanted to tell her that I was lying and that i liked her more than anything,so I asked Anna for advice and of course she had to get him involved.
" What am I here for again? Cause I know for sure Mike likes to make sure I don't come to his office" John said he sat down
"And for good reason too"I muttered and Anna glared at me,then continued
"We just need your advice on something"
"We really don't" I added
"Yes,we do,stop acting like a child"Anna snapped
"What is it?"
"You know the girl at the front desk?" Anna asked and John gave a weird smile that I didn't like at all
"The hot new secretary?" He asked and I glared at him
"Woah chill,does he like her or something?"He asked
" Something like that"Anna replied
"So why does he need advice with that? He can date whoever he wants" He asked confused
"Remember the car accident from 10 years ago?" Anna asked and John frowned
"Why would you bring that up?"
"Because she's the daughter of the woman who died" Anna answered and he widened his eyes in shock.Then turned to me.
"Really?" He asked and I nodded,then he narrowed his gaze accusingly
"Why would you hire her?"
"Because I felt like she deserved the job" I replied and he sat in his chair trying to process everything for a minute and then he looked up at me.
"So you want to sleep with her or is this some type of forever shit?" He asked and I looked away
" I don't know"
"I mean if she doesn't know it was you,then it's not a big deal right?" He said nonchalantly and Anna rolled her eyes
"Wrong,it's a completely big deal, that's the worst thing you could do to the girl" She replied.
"Don't you feel bad?" I asked looking straight at John,out of everyone that was there that morning,he was the only one that acted the most like he didn't care.
"Why would I feel bad? I wasn't driving" He replied maintaining eye contact and I scoffed.
"Thanks a lot Anna, you can leave now John,I don't need your help" John looked over at Anna who shook her head dissaprovingly at him,he shrugged and got up.
"If you're not interested enough to pursue her,then I......" John started and I got up and glared at him.
"Don't even finish that sentence John, if you like your job" We glared at each other for a few minutes before he turned around.
"Suit yourself" He finished and then left the office.
