DAHLIA
Light peeking in through the slightly open lavender cotton of the hotel room woke me up,I almost cursed,I rolled around on the soft bed desperately wishing I could somehow transport it to my room.I stayed on the bed for a while longer,not sleeping just soaking in the moment,a knock on the door snapped me out of my funk though,I wondered if it could be him,I quickly arranged my hair and got up to open the door,my heart beating rapidly but it was just the attendant from the night before,for some reason I felt really disappointed.
"Good morning miss cooper,I'm hoping you had a good night?" The attendant asked with a smile. I nodded. The best night of my entire life
"Yes I did,thank you so much" I replied.
"Of course,your friend asked us to bring you some new clothes to change into,he also says you should join him downstairs later for breakfast" She stated causing me to stupidly blush,I wanted to slap myself.
"Oh....right" I managed to reply,the attendant gave me a plastic bag,explained the direction of the dining hall and then walked away,I was so weirdly excited to open the bag,it was a blue dress with flower patterns,it made me want to cry,it was probably the prettiest thing I had ever seen. I sat on the bed next to the dress, pondering,the past 24 hours had been so weird,I thought I hated being in his presence but now I look forward to it? If he had given me the dress two days ago,I probably would have refused to wear it and just stubbornly put on my outfit from the night before,but now....now I want to wear what he chose,willingly! Something must be really wrong with me and I needed to snap out of it fast. I managed to shove my thoughts to the back of my head before going to have my bath,then got dressed and prepared to go downstairs.
MICHAEL
I watched her walk out of the elevator and I raised my hand to wave at her,she started walking towards me as soon as she saw me. When she got close enough I could properly see her, properly examine her ,she had put on the dress I got,I felt so happy that before I could stop myself...
"You look gorgeous" I said without a beat as she sat down and without looking up,she nodded.I was crossing my boundaries again.
"I'm sorry,was that weird to say? I...."
"No,You look great as well mike"She replied giving me a smile so bright it felt like I imagined it.
"I'm hoping you slept well " I said and passed her the menu and she nodded looking through it.
"What about you?Did you sleep well?" She asked casually still focused on the menu unaware of how insane her question drove me,it was the first time she ever asked about me in such a personal way.
"It was good.....dreamless" I managed to reply hoping she wouldn't notice how giddy I felt.
"Can I just have pancakes? Everything on this menu looks so extra" she said with a giggle as she placed the menu on the table and slid it over to me.
"Are you sure you're not just saying that to make sure I don't spend too much money on breakfast? "I retorted with a suspicious squint and she scrunched up her face before sighing.
"Okay yes....but that's only a part of it,I also just really want pancakes tho" She replied and I nodded then gestured for the waiter to come closer.
"Two servings of pancakes,waffles,bacon and eggs and orange juice" I requested and passed the menu back to the waiter who bowed before leaving.
"I literally said just pancakes "She said
"Really? Cause I'm pretty sure you added all those other stuff" I teased and we both laughed. The food came not too long after that and we spent the next 30 minutes eating in silence,she felt more comfortable than before,I wasn't sure what changed but I was really grateful,I still felt really guilty for everything I was hiding and all the lies I was indirectly telling every second I spent with her,but her smile made me feel less guilty,as stupid as that may sound. I took a final sip of the juice,feeling full,she was full as well.
"I am very sorry for making you stay with me longer than you were supposed to,I know I promised to return you home yesterday" I pleaded and she shook her head.
"It's fine,I had a great time,and it also helped us clear the weirs energy,so you're good" She replied with a smile and I nodded. " Although,Jason must be super worried so I do have to go home as soon as possible" She added and I felt a strong pang of jealousy.
"Why would he be worried that you spent a night out? You're an adult" I asked
"Well first, I didn't plan to spend the night before and second I'm like his only family,so of course he cared what I do" She replied only making the pang stronger,why was he so involved in her life? What if he liked her?
" Can we go home now? Is our business here done?" She asked,eyes glistening,i didn't want to leave yet,cause then I would have to face the world,Anna,my dad,John,Jason,if only she could just stay here with me forever,the fact that I desperately wanted her to run away with me was scary,it confirmed my one true fear.....I was falling in love. Ignoring how miserable that realization was making me feel,I replied.
"Right now,you can go wait in the car,I will have everything packed and take you home immediately" I said and got up, immediately wanting to get away from the woman who has completely bewitched me.

Sorry for the late updates everyone,I have been really busy lately since I started a very hard semester at school but things are going smoothly now and I promise to update steadily. Also ..who wants Dahlia and Michael fancast?👀
