NORA POV
I woke up feeling very thirsty, I turned around and looked at Vickie who was sound asleep. I stretched my arms a little bit before I stood up and took the bottled water which was kept on the table
"Oh lord, who drank my water," I thought
I rubbed my eyes with the back of my hand before I entered the kitchen. I was about to grab a bottle of water when I felt someone’s presence behind me, I turned back but there was no one.
I took the bottle and poured a certain amount of water into the glass. I was about to drink the water when I felt a tap on my shoulder, I instantly turned back but there was no one behind me
"What’s happening," I thought
I turned around to drink the water when I saw the music box on the kitchen counter
"How did it come here" I took the box and was about to keep it in the pantry when I heard someone’s footstep coming from the living room
"Might be Vickie" I thought
After I kept the music box in the pantry I drank water before I entered the living room
"Nora" a familiar voice screamed from the staircase
"Mick, oh my God, I’m so happy you’re back," I said as I was walking in his direction he instantly ran away
"Mick come back," I screamed as I followed him upstairs
"Mick! Mick where are you" I screamed
"Nora, I’m right here," he said as he peeked through the hallway
"Mick, wait I’m coming"
As I walked closer to him, he kept walking away.
"Come, Nora, I wanna show you something," he said before he turned around and took a right turn
I followed him as I kept calling out his name, I entered the library and saw Mick standing at the edge of the room facing the wall.
"Mick what are you doing there," I said but he didn’t move nor respond
"Mick, are you okay," I asked but he didn’t respond
"What is wrong with him, perhaps he’s scared after all he got lost in a town he knows nothing about,"
Immediately I walked closer to him he turned around and looked straight into my eyes without a blink.
"I love you Nora" he whispered audibly
I looked at him for a moment, I had no idea what to say, did Mick just propose to me? or am I dreaming?
He walked closer to me and grabbed my waist before he passionately placed his lips on mine. I felt a unique feeling, I had never imagined this day would come after he proposed to Victoria I thought that was the end of my love life.
"Will you be my girlfriend" he whispered
I couldn’t stop smiling, I had no words to say as I kissed him, perhaps that will be the best answer to his question.
“Do you want to be with me forever?" he asked
"Only if you want to be with me"
“I love you Nora and I want you to be with me forever”
“I will always be with you”
“No matter where I go, you will be with me, right?”
“Yes I will be with you Mick but why are you asking me this question anyway”
He smiled at me before he spoke
"Turned around, I have a surprise for you"
I turned around with a broad smile on my face but didn’t see anything behind me
"Where is the surprise, Mick"
I turned back but Mick wasn’t in the room, wasn’t he standing right in front of me?
"Mick, where are you," I said but there was no answer
“Mick where are you, are you trying to play hide and seek with me cause I know it’s your favorite thing to do when we were kids? Mick come on I know you are here” I said as I walked towards the couch and peeked behind it
“He’s not here. Where did Mick go to” I thought
“Was I hallucinating? it can’t be possible, Mick was here I felt his presence, the kiss was real” I whispered to myself
I was about to leave the room when the door abruptly closed making a loud noise,
I tried to open it but unfortunately, I couldn’t.
"It’s time we are together" Mick whispered to my ears
I turned back but there was no one in the room.
"What’s happening, Mick are you there“
I began knocking on the door and calling out to the others to help me when a music tone started playing.
I turned back and saw the music box on the floor
"I kept it in the pantry some minutes ago, how is it here," I thought
Immediately the music began to play, My body began to itch as of it was burning
"Help! Help!“ I cried in pain
The floor was extremely hot which made my feet burn, as I moved from my position my feet' skin tore apart
"Ahh!" I screamed in pain
The music was extremely loud which made my ears itch. I knocked on the door slowly but extremely hard, I wanted to leave the room badly
"Help, someone please help" I whispered as I fell to the floor
Immediately after the music stopped, the door opened
I wasn’t able to walk but I crawled my way out of the room,
"Help me" I screamed
I managed to stand up when I got to the staircase,
"Hi Nora, it’s about time we are together forever," a voice said from behind
“Mick“ I said as I turned around and came face to face with my worst nightmare.
“Don’t, please don’t do this" I pleaded
"I won’t do anything, the music will do it all," a demonic voice said
"What do you mean"
"It’s time you be with Mick forever" a voice whispered to my ears before I felt a sharp pain in my stomach.
“No, No….. please don’t do….. this" I whispered
I could hear the song playing in the background as my body began to burn
"Ahhh" I cried in pain before my vision became blurry
