"She had no choice but to sacrifice herself" I said
"That’s the end, there isn’t anything written on the next page," I said as I closed the book
"Are you sure?" Lyon asked
" Yes, I can’t believe this, almost everything that happened to her happened to me, the well, the insect, almost everything, and her mom got missing just the way Mick got missing. But I don’t understand who Melody is.”
"She’s no worse than a devil, Melody is the cause behind everything.”
“Do you think she’s the one who created the music box?”
"I don’t know, but there has to be something we are missing in that diary,” Lyon said before he grabbed the book from my hands.
As he grabbed the book he flipped the pages
"Wait a minute, there is something written on the last page.” he whispered to himself
"Let me see that"
I grabbed to book from his hands and read it out loud
"From your birth to your grave, the music follows you all the way. You don’t find the music it founds you. Giving attention to the music could lead to death but it’s the only way out. Unfortunate are those who have the power of the dream.”
There was silence in the room after I read the note. Liv can I see that note you found I said as I turned around
"Liv! Liv.” I screamed
"Where did she go to?” Lyon panicked
I quickly stood up as the dairy fell from my hands, I ran out of the room calling out Liv’s name
"Babe! Where are you, babe.” Lyon screamed
"Liv! Liv. Lyon, you should check down the stairs while I check the rooms here" I said before I began to check room after room, corner after corner
I have to find Liv, I can’t afford to lose a friend again.
"Liv! Where are you please say something, Liv.” I screamed but there was no response
"Where is she?” I thought
I was sauntering through the corridor, calling out Liv’s name when I heard sounds of footsteps behind me,
“ Liv,” I said as I turned around, I saw something, I don’t know what it is, or what it want but it was looking straight into my eyes, I quickly ran as far as I could, every now and then turning around to see if it’s still following me.
I got to the end of the hallway, there was no way out for me, and I had nowhere to go. The thing walked closer to me as if it wasn’t in a rush to kill me. I rapidly closed my eyes as I was extremely confused and scared.
"Please don’t kill me, please don’t eat me, please.” I whispered to myself.
I didn’t realize it when tears rolled down my cheeks, as I squeezed myself my body at the edge of the corridor.
My heart was beating audibly, I have never seen something as scary as what I saw, I continuously began panting.
"Please don’t, don’t.” I whispered before I slowly opened my eyes and there was no one there.
I took a deep breath as I swallowed my saliva, I gently stood up looking confused, I had already forgotten what I was doing before I saw that.
"Liv.” I sighed
I walked gently closer to the room next to me, I peeked at the room before I entered
"Liv, are you here.” I screamed as I checked the bathroom.
Immediately after I stepped outside the room, I heard the music box playing its music from afar
"Oh shit! Liv is in danger.” I sighed
I ran down the stairs in a rush which made me fall and rolled down the stairs. Something was on the staircase which made my feet hurt badly
"Ahh.” I cried out
My feet had already started bleeding
"Ahh!” I continuously cried out as I held the leg, I screamed in pain.
I wasn’t able to stand up, I attempted several times but couldn’t.
"Lyon! Lyon, I need your help" I screamed but he didn’t respond.
I could still hear the music playing
"It seems like the song is coming from the room next to Lyon’s room," I thought
I continuously called out Lyon, I had already forgotten about Liv, I would have found her by now if I wasn’t injured.
"Liv" I screamed as the room door abruptly closed. It was very loud, it was like someone slammed the door shut with force.
"I’m coming Liv.” I screamed as I managed to stand up.
"I’m coming, Liv.” I whispered to myself, my feet hurt badly when I stood up but I had no choice, I can’t let one injury stop me from saving my friend’s life.
Immediately after I stood, I heard a creepy voice whispered from behind which terrified me to the extent I lost balance
"Listen to the rhythm"
"Nooo.” I screamed instantly, I covered my ears with my hand as I closed my eyes.
"listen to the rhythm. Sing along with us.” the voice continuously whispered.
I could feel my hands were not in my control as they kept veering from my ear. I tried hard to keep my hand on my ear but couldn’t.
"Someone please help me.” I moaned
My body was shaking as I screamed out loud, I felt a sharp pain in my body, it was like my body part was tearing apart. The music began to play loudly
"Help!” I sought
"Listen to the rhythm.” the voice whispered again.
I was extremely horrified, all I could think of is death. I forgot simple things like exhaling and inhaling air, breathing became exceedingly difficult for me.
"Vickie! Vickie!” a voice said from afar. I instantly recognized the voice it was Lyon
“Lyon, help me.” I moaned
"Vickie! Vickie! I’m coming, what happened to you" he said as he rushed down the stairs
He looked at my bleeding foot, he was about to help me stand up when he heard Liv scream from the room next to his.
"Liv" he instantly screamed as he walked towards the room he heard her voice.
I was laid on the ground hopeless as I didn’t have an option, bit by bit I could feel my eyes closing. Lyon didn’t know who to help first, as he stood in the middle of the room, he turned around and looked at me for a moment as he tried to break the room door so he can save Liv.
