LYON POV
Immediately after I slammed the door shut, I locked it from inside. I can’t imagine his life without Liv, she was the only one I have left. She was the only one I was comfortable talking about my emotions with. Where is she when I needed her the most?
"Liv!” I screamed as I fell to the ground
"Why did you leave me, why did you leave when I need you the most, you were always there for me when I needed you the most, you were with me when mom and dad died, you were always there for me.” He cried out
"Why! Why! Why! Why didn’t the music take me away before this happened, why didn’t the music kill us together, why did it decide to take you away first" he whimpered
He laid on the cold floor for hours, he could remember the first time he met her, she was just eleven years old when she moved to the neighborhood. They didn’t get along as she was acting like a nerd, her face had pimples on them, she wore oversized medicated goggles, and she was very chubby and short which made her look like a soda can.
They could argue all the time, he didn’t like her for a bit as she was a snitch. He could remember when she snitched on him for sneaking out of his house at midnight.
He got extremely mad at her a day. He felt like stabbing her throat.
"Why did you leave me, babe, why did you leave me" he cried out
After some years when she was back from boarding school, she looked different, one could think she wasn’t Liv. The first time he saw her when she came back from boarding school, his eyes almost plunged from its socket, she looked extremely different, her hair was long and bouncy, she didn’t have that irritating pimples on her face, she wasn’t chubby at all neither she was short, one could think she is a model in training. They made so many wonderful memories together, she had always been there with him both during hardships and happiness. She always gave him a shoulder he could cry on.
He laid on the floor for hours thinking about Liv till he drafted to sleep.
"Why did the music take you away from me babe" he whispered to himself as he drafted to sleep.
Shortly, he woke up to a loud sound of music, he slowly rubbed his eyes to clear his vision.
He caught a glimpse at the music box which was on the bed and had already started playing its music.
He shook his head instantly as he rapidly screamed
"No! No! No!”
He instantly moved aside
"No! No! You took Liv away from me, No! I will destroy you.” he yelled
He was about to pick the box when he heard a familiar voice from behind, it was Liv’s
"Don’t do that babe, please don’t”
He turned back and stared at her for almost a minute, she looked real, she gave him that smile that he has been yearning for
"It’s okay, I’m here with you just like always," she said in a calm tone
She walked closer to him and gave him a tight hug
"It’s okay, I’m here with you” she whispered
He didn’t know how to react, he had been yearning for that tight hug from her
"It’s okay, I’m here with you just like always " she muttered
He held her tightly as tears rolled down to his chin, he felt much better when she hugged him.
"I love you babe.” She whispered to his ear
Immediately as she whispered, he felt a strange feeling, he instantly realized what was going on, she was nothing but an illusion.
As a strong wind blew, the windows started banging. He tried to release himself from the hug but couldn’t, she embraced him tightly to the extent he wasn’t able to move or do anything.
"It’s okay, I’m here now just like always.” She whispered
He continuously tried to push her away but couldn’t. She stepped backward and watched him struggle to move with a smile on her.
"Come with me babe, and you don’t have to suffer any longer" she whispered
He glanced at her for a moment, but he didn’t utter a word, as he blinked his eyes she vanished and he was able to move.
"Babe!” he cried out
He fell to the ground whispering to himself
"Babe! Babe!”
“ I’m over here Lyon.” A voice whispered from behind, he instantly turned back but there was no one
"Lyon I’m here" he heard the voice whisper again
“Lyon I’m back from the grocery store, come help me with the bags" his mom’s voice whispered
"Lyon, are we gonna play cricket today or you have made some plans with your friend” his dad whispered to his ears
"He always does that, if you haven’t made any plans with your friends that day we might have been alive” his mom whispered to his ears
"You killed us, Lyon, you killed us" the voice yelled
He had already placed his hands on his ears and was yelling
"No! No! No, I didn't do anything”
He was on the floor despite his eyes being closed, tears were still coming out of it
"I called out your name babe but you didn’t save me, you saved Victoria, you chose her over me. I hate you! I hate you babe it’s all your fault.” Liv’s voice yelled
"No! No! No! I’m sorry babe, I’m really sorry.” he cried out
"You chose your friends over us, if you were in the house that night you would have helped us fight the bad guys. You don’t deserve to be our child, you don’t Lyon, you don’t" his mom’s voice whispered
"Nooooo" he yelled as he stood up
“It’s all my fault, I killed mom and dad, it’s always because of me, Liv is also gone all because I chose to help Vickie. It’s all my fault darn it.” he cried out
He was pacing around the room whispering to himself.
"If I had not helped Vickie, Liv would have been here with me.”
He kept pacing around but instantly stopped when exhaling and inhaling air became difficult for him,
“I need my medicine,” he thought
He quickly opened the cupboard and was about to take his medicine when a voice whispered
"I was burnt to ash, babe, the music burnt me to ash”
"It’s all your fault, you killed us, Lyon, you killed us" the voice yelled
He was confused at the moment as the voice kept yelling and whispering in his ears. He instantly took a pill bottle from the cupboard and swallowed all the pills in it. He had no idea which medicine he swallowed until he chocked himself, he took the pill bottle and looked at it, it wasn’t his medicine, it was something else and had already expired
"Come with us and you will reunite with your friends and family”
He had already fallen to the ground as he became vision blurry, he couldn’t see who was talking but the voice wasn’t familiar.
"Ahhh!" he yelled as he felt a sharp pain on his skin, it was like someone was ripped off his skin.
