When the music started, I felt a strange feeling in my body, it was like my death was near, I have never been this scared in my life before. I had no idea how a song could lead to death but after what happened to Nora and Mick, I can’t take any risk.
I quickly stood up and began looking for the music box
"I have to destroy that creepy-looking box now before it does any more damage" I whispered to myself.
I looked through the bookshelf’s and chairs but couldn’t trace the exact location the music was coming from “Where is this stupid box" I yelled
I turned back and saw Liv shivering, her eyes staring at the couch
"Liv are you okay?" I said as I came closer to her
It was like she wasn’t able to move
"Liv what happened?"
She didn’t say a word as she kept staring at the couch, I looked at the couch but didn’t see anything.
"Liv! Liv! are you okay, please say something you’re scaring me" I sobbed
I turned back and Lyon wasn’t in the room
"Lyon where are you" I yelled
What is going on, Liv isn’t moving and Lyon was here a few minutes ago and now he isn’t here. My mind kept asking billions of questions that no one have an answer to. I began to panic, I had no idea what to do
"Liv looks at me, please say something. Liv talks to me say something" I tapped her cheek but she didn’t respond to me.
"What am I gonna do?"
I quickly rushed downstairs and began calling out Lyon’s name, but there wasn’t a response.
I was standing in the middle of the room when I felt a tap on my back, I turned back and came face to face with Nora
"Nora" I whispered, my heart felt a relief the feeling was different, it was like I was melting and someone poured cold water on my body.
I instantly hugged as tears rolled down to my chin
"Nora, where have you been I thought you were dead. I’m so glad you are alive" I sobbed
Immediately it released her from the hug I realized something was wrong when her eyeballs changed their color
"If you truly missed me, you can join me and we will be together. Hashtags best friends then now and forever"
I instantly stepped backward nodding my head in disagreement
“This isn’t Nora" I whispered to myself
"Come on Victoria come with me, I’m
Sure you aren’t happy living without me or your beloved Mick"
As I took a step backward, she moved closer to me
"Don’t you wanna be with your Mick. What is matter, you kissed Mick in my presence despite knowing I’m in love with him" she yelled as she held a knife with her right hand
"No, please no" I sobbed
"It won’t hurt as much as you hurt me"
"No! please don’t do this"
Immediately I took a step backward I stepped on someone's feet
"Mick" I said as I turned around
How is this happening, Mick and Nora can’t be here, they aren’t alive. I listened to Nora’s last words.
“This isn’t real" I continuously whispered to myself
"Come with me and we will be together forever, you know I love you and I will always love you Victoria" Mick muttered as walked closer to me
"She can’t be yours nor mine, she belongs to the music. The music will take her to her destination"
I didn’t realize when I fell, I had no way to escape as I was in the middle of Nora and Mick.
"Vickie what are you gonna tell my mom when you get back home, are you gonna tell her that her only child is no more" she pouted
"What about my parent, what are you gonna tell them"
I began panting, my heart was beating fast which was obvious because its a bit audible.
"This isn’t real, it’s not possible" I yelled
I closed my eyes as I kept repeating those words.
"Listen to the rhythm Victoria" a voice giggled to my ears
"Join us Victoria and you will reunite with your friends" a voice whispered
I sat on the cold floor with my knees bent and my hands covering my ears, my eyes were closed as the music lyrics began to play
Your days are over and you have to go. Everyone will forget you,let the pain rain on your face and the burn shall forever last,the sun is shining and the day is gonna get better,when everyone die and rest forever in my hand.........let me through the dark and the music will take you to your destination
"Noooo" I yelled as I quickly stood up and ran to the library.
I instantly locked the room and stood behind the door with my hands covering my ears.
“This isn’t real,“ I repeatedly said
I came closer to Liv who was still standing in the same position she was some minutes ago.
"Liv please say something, I need your help" I sobbed
I looked down and saw the music box on the floor, I instantly picked it up
"You are the cause of everything" I whispered before I threw it through the window.
Immediately after I did that, I heard a knock on the door
"Babe, Vickie are you guys okay? Open the door" Lyon said from behind the door
I instantly opened the door " Lyon " I sobbed as I hugged him.
I kept sobbing almost wetting his shirt
"What happened" he said
I swallowed my saliva before I spoke
"I don’t know"
He walked into the room and held Liv who was lying on the floor.
She slowly opened her eyes as she gave her a tight hug.
"Everything is fine" he whispered
"No, it’s not, the music is gone for now but not for long. We have to look for a way to end it before it’s too late”
