Everywhere was dark and silent, I don’t remember how I got here or what happened to me.
I couldn’t see anything as it was extremely dark, I decided to try and look for the switch as I walked I stepped on something huge which made me fall, my leg hurt badly as I screamed in pain. I tried to stand up but couldn’t.
“ help! anyone, please help me “ I cried out but unfortunately, no one came to my aid. I held my leg tightly as I realized it was bleeding
“ please help me “ I shouted again.
 
No one came to my aid but I could hear someone laughing bizarrely, I was frightened and helpless as I couldn't stand up or do anything, the laughter was coming closer and closer, I was terrified when the laughter became louder I tried to run but I couldn't, I felt someone’s hands behind rubbing my head in a weird way when a strange tone began playing my head began to hurt as if it was burning. The music was loud when abruptly the lights went on, the laughter stopped and the music ceased as I turned around but there was no one behind me and my head was no longer hurting.
I tried harder to stand up even though my leg was bleeding. I was limping when the lights went off and I fell on something liquid which smells terrible, I realized it is blood when I sniffed it.
 
When the light suddenly went on and I saw a dead body holding a creepy box right before me, the face looked a bit damaged but familiar.
I couldn’t help but look closer when I looked close I recognized who the body was.
 
“ no ! no “ I cried
“ This isn’t possible, it can be “ I screamed
I shifted closer to the body, When I noticed a familiar box by the side of the body, I tried to recall where I saw the box but unfortunately, I couldn’t as my emotions were overwhelmed.
“ No, this isn’t real “ I repeatedly said
“ No! “ I screamed
“ Are you okay? “ Liv said as she walked closer to me.
I turned around and looked at her before I realized it was just a dream.
“ Oh lord, thank God it’s a dream, “ I thought
“ What happened, you screamed, “ Liv said
“ I had a nightmare “
“ Just take a deep breath, calm down and take a sip of water, “ she said as she gave me a glass of water
“ Thank you. Where is Nora, is she okay “ I instantly asked
“ Yeah, she’s taking a shower, you seem worried was the nightmare about Nora “
“ Yes, it was horrible “
“ You are just worried, you need to relax “
“ Any update on Mick, did the kidnapper call “
“ Not yet, but Melody is on her way here “
“ Oh thank God she answered the call, “
“She was the one that called us “
We were talking when Nora walked out of the bathroom, she looked pale, and her eyes looked sore which was obvious that she didn’t sleep throughout the night.
“ Good morning Nora “
“ Good morning, did you get any update on Mick ? “ she instantly asked
“ Not yet but I’m sure we will, you guys should get ready and head down before Melody comes, “ Liv said before she walked out of the room
I took a deep breath before I entered the bathroom to take a shower.
I never thought a day like this will come when Mick will be missing and we have no one to rely on but a lady we met some days ago. I stood at the sink and stared at my reflection in the mirror as brushed my teeth
“ This isn’t the kind of summer vacation I thought I will have with my friends “
I closed my eyes as I washed my face, immediately after I opened my eyes my reflection wasn’t in the mirror which made me terrified to the extent I forgot a simple thing like inhaling and exhaling air.
“ Do you want to sing along with us “ a creepy voice whispered to my ears.
I was terrified to turn around as my focus was only on my lost reflection. I instantly closed my eyes, it took me a few seconds to open my eyes and when I did everything was back to normal, my reflection was in the mirror
“ Liv was right, I need to relax “
After taking a shower, I wore a peach high-neck shirt, a pair of blue jeans trousers, and white sneakers. I packed my hair into a ponytail after I combed it.
As I walked down the stairs, Lyon approached me
“ Hey, do you know what Mick’s password is, I wanna check the last person he called before all this happened “
“ I have no idea, but I think Nora might have a hint of what the password might be“
“ I asked her but she has no clue “
“ Guys I know this isn’t a good time, but breakfast is served, “ Liv said
“ Babe, you have to eat something we all do, “ she said as she walked closer to Lyon and grabbed his hand
I walked to the dining room and took a sit next to Nora.
“ I thought you said breakfast was ready “
“ Yeah it is “
“ You made cereal for breakfast “
“ She’s not great in the kitchen “ Lyon said
“ Hey, I wasn’t able to cook anything because I’m worried about Mick “
“ Well played, hiding behind the Mick shield, “ I said as we started laughing
Shortly after I ate a spoon of cereal, Melody walked into the house
“ Lord, what took you so long we have been waiting for you, “ Lyon said
“ Have you filed the complaint? “ Nora asked
“ Yes, I have filed a missing complaint, don’t worry you will soon meet Mick “
“ But we can’t just rely on the cops, I mean we have to do something as well, “ Lyon said
“ No, I think It’s better if the cops handle the case, “ she said
“ But…” Lyon didn’t finish when Liv interrupted him
“ Babe, Melody is right the cops can handle the case, it’s better we let them do their job “
“ I will update you soon, “ she said as she walked out of the house.
“ I hope they find him “ Nora muttered
After breakfast, I was sited on the living room couch when I recalled something
“ Liv, did you inform Melody about Mick’s absence “
“ No I didn’t, what happened why did you ask “
“ Wait a minute, she told me you told her,” Lyon said
“ What! I don’t even have her number “
“ Then how did she know? “
“ You’re right, I was so worried I didn’t notice that “ Lyon uttered
“ And without a picture or description, she can’t possibly file a missing case, right? “
“ What are you trying to say, “ Nora asked
I looked at her before I spoke “ I think Melody did something to Mick “
