We were sited on the couch when Lyon’s phone rang, he looked directly at it as his eyes widened
“It’s Melody” he announced
“Don’t answer the call”
“Just take the call” Liv said
“No don’t”
“We have to know what she wants to say, maybe it’s about Mick” Liv uttered
“Or maybe it’s not”
“Guys!” he shouted
“Let’s just hear her out, I’m gonna put it on speaker”
“Hello” he said immediately as he answered the call.
“Hello, Melody are you there”
“Yes, I just called to inform you that Mick was found, so you have nothing to worry about. You will soon meet him”
“Really! That’s great nice, are you on your way here”
“Hello”
“She hung up the call,” he said
“Who cares, Mick is found” Nora said
“Babe I told you, he will be alright” Liv said before she hugged Lyon
“You don’t look as happy as we are, what’s the matter”
"I’m just finding it difficult to agree with Melody, I mean yes maybe Mick was found but she could have at least told us how he was found but instead she hung up on us”
They stared at me for a moment before Nora spoke “Don’t you think you worry too much besides I don’t think Melody is lying, I mean why would she lie”
“Yeah, why would she lie”
“Forget about it, let’s get something to eat, I’m thinking of Alfredo pasta” Lyon said
“With extra cheese babe”
“Of course” Liv said before she walked into the kitchen with Lyon
“You’re still thinking” Nora muttered
“Hmm”
“Come on, Mick is found and you’re still worried, I thought you said you don’t have feelings for him”
“Yeah, I don’t”
“I know I was just kidding, stop being worried, he’s fine,” she said before she grabbed my hand and walked into the kitchen.
When we entered the kitchen, I took an onion and began chopping, Nora was chopping the peppers, while Liv was helping Lyon in the pantry.
“Guys check what I found” Lyon said as he held an antique box, which somehow looked familiar.
“What is that”
“I have no idea, I just saw it in the pantry which was weird because I have never noticed it before”
“Can I see it?” I said as he handed the box over to me.
I kept looking at the box "I have seen this box before but where”
I stared at the box and was about to open it when Lyon grabbed it from my hand
"Hey, I wasn’t done with it”
“You were examining the box as if you have seen it before”
"It kinda looks familiar, I just can’t remember where I saw it”
“You must have seen it in the pantry before”
“We should open it," Nora said
“Yeah, the food can wait but this can’t," he said as he held it under his arm and turned off the gas cooker before he walked out of the room
I kept on thinking about where and when I saw the box, as I turned around I realized no one was inside the kitchen "Where are they” I thought
“Hey, what are you still doing here,” Nora said as she peeked into the kitchen
“We opened the box, it turned out to be a music box or something like that. Come see”
I entered the living room and sat next to Liv who was holding the box
"The inside looks much better than the outside,” she said
“Press the button let’s listen to the kind of music it plays” Nora mumbled
"No, I think we should just keep it back to where it belongs, I’m already having a bad feeling about this”
“You have bad feelings about everything,”
“That’s not true”
“It is, first you had a bad feeling about Melody then Mick and now the box” Lyon uttered
"Oh please," I said before I collected the box from Liv, the music box has three, I gently touched the buttons as Liv pushed my finger which made me press the second button.
I turned around and looked at her before I spoke “Why did you do that”
“Come on we all want to listen to the song”
The music started playing for about half a minute before it abruptly stopped.
“It might be broken”
“Let me see that,” Nora said as she grabbed the box from my hand
“What are you gonna do with that”
“I think I can fix it”
She tried to open the back but unfortunately, she couldn’t. She hit the back carefully and pressed the button again. It let out a loud disturbing noise which made me cover my ears
“Turn it off” I yelled
“I can’t, maybe it’s broken”
Lyon instantly grabbed the music box from her hands and threw it aside which made it hit the wall.
I let out a deep breath as the sound stopped.
“This is a relief”
“That music box needs a lot of fixing” Liv muttered
“Yeah like seriously,“ Lyon said as he stop up "I might need some help in the kitchen”
“For a moment I forgot we were cooking” Nora whispered to herself
We were about to leave the living room when the music abruptly started
I turned back and looked at it "Who turned it on” I whispered to myself
The night has come when we recreate the story and the myth is all we have

“Guys turn it off” I panicked
“Victoria are you okay”
“Turn it off” I yelled
I couldn’t feel my body, I wasn’t able to move, it was like my body was freezing, and exhaling and inhaling air became a bit hard for me.
“Tur…n it off” I managed to speak
“Guys! Guys!” I yelled but no one answered
I was incredibly terrified when I heard someone’s footsteps coming closer to me. I instantly closed my eyes as I heard a whisper " listen to the music ”
“No! No! No!” I screamed
“Vickie are you okay," a familiar voice said.
I slowly opened my eyes and came face to face with Nora
“Are you okay”
I sighed before I hugged her
“What happened”
“The music…I couldn’t…. freeze”
“Wait what, can you slow down a little bit, I don’t understand what you’re saying”
I was about to talk when I saw someone behind her. I opened my mouth to talk but couldn’t
“Why can’t I talk," my inner voice said
“You looked worried," Nora said in a demonic voice
I looked at her for a moment as she came closer to me "You have to listen to the music" she yelled in a demonic voice.
I pushed her away and ran when I accidentally stepped on something slippery which made me hit my head.
