"Don't tell me to calm down Elliot!! Do not tell me!! My son has gone insane!! He has gone insane!!" Axel roared pacing furiously around the throne room. "Why would he do that?!! To a stupid slave!! A STUPID SLAVE!! Come on, just think about it Elliot!! And don't tell me it's nothing!!!" "You know what?? Damn that slave, I'm killing her!!" Elliot let out a sign, shaking his head in frustration. "Axel," He called, raising his brows tiredly at him. "You need to calm down so you won't blow this up. I'm sure Luciano knows what he's doing. He might even have a plan, who knows??" "To hell with such a plan." Axel growled, still pacing around the room with anger boiling in him. "Come on Axel, we all know Luciano. He's not so vulnerable to anyone, talk more of a mere slave. You're just getting worked up for nothing." "Don't tell me that Elliot." Axel stopped pacing and stood still pointing his finger at Elliot with a dead stare on his face. "Luciano has never acted this way, so what the hell are you saying?? Plan or no plan, this is complete madness!!" "Ugh, brother? Can you just calm down? I'm sure Luciano is not as stupid as you think, he will surely come around, just calm down." Elliot tries to reassure him. "And besides if that slave is plotting any evil plan, let's just wait and make her think she's succeeding." "What's the point waiting, let me just kill her right away." "No Axel, I won't let you. We'll just wait and keep watch, besides it's not time yet." Elliot took a deep breath after speaking, allowing what he said to sink deep into Axel's head before muttering for the last time. "It's not time yet." * * "Oh dear child." Madam Helen called on sighting Eleanor. "Madam Helen," Eleanor smiled widely before spreading her arms apart as Madam Helen engulfs her in a tight hug. "My dear Eleanor." "Ow! Ouch!" Eleanor suddenly cried out in pain. Madam Helen immediately disengaged from the hug staring at her with concern. "What's wrong?" "Ow, my back hurts." Eleanor whimpered softly like a child. "Ohh, I'm sorry. I almost forgot about that." "No worries, it doesn't hurt much like before." "Oh darling, I was so worried about you. I can't believe the Queen would do such a thing." Eleanor lets out an exasperated sign, walking further into the kitchen to sit on a stool. "I did not steal anything." She muttered, though loud enough for Madam Helen to hear. "I know child," Madam Helen walked to her, placing her palm on Eleanor's shoulder. "I believe you." "But, why would anybody do that to me?? How did it even get into my pocket without my knowledge??" "This must definitely be a set up, by somebody who hates you." "I know, but I haven't done wrong to anybody. So why would somebody set me up?" Eleanor looks up at Madam Helen like she was searching her face for answers. "I don't know Eleanor. This is really bad." Madam Helen drew a stool close to Eleanor before sitting on it, placing her hands on her laps. "I'm seriously tired of all this, I can't keep living like this-" "Wait?!" Madam Helen called her eyes wide open. "What if somebody is jealous of you and decides to set you up?" "I don't see a valid reason why anyone should be jealous of me, I'm just a slave trying to survive here." Eleanor shook her head disapprovingly. "Yeah I know, but just think about it-" Immediately, Eleanor remembered the look on Sabrina's face when she was seized by those guards yesterday. She clearly remembered how she smirked upon hearing that the Queen was going to punish her. The look on her face is so suspicious, but why would Sabrina be jealous of her? She's a princess and she, a slave. So why would she be envious of her? Eleanor's eyes widened immediately and she remembered the scene at the Prince's room. That is it, definitely. This is her own version of "it's not over." She should have thought about it. "Eleanor," She heard Madam Helen call her, tapping her arm lightly. "Erm, Madam Helen," "Are you okay, you suddenly zoned out." "Yeah, I'm fine. There's nothing to worry about." Madam Helen stared at her unsurely before speaking. "Okay, if you say so. Well the prince requests to see you." That was when Eleanor looked up and noticed Killian standing by the door side, staring at her. "Oh, okay then, see you later Madam Helen." She said climbing down from the stool. "Of course, I'll come give you some herbs later on, bye." Eleanor walked out of the kitchen, trailing behind the huge guard lost in her own thoughts. She still can't stop wondering why the Princess would do that. She must be one hell of a wicked Princess. All she would try to do is stay out of her way. She doesn't want any more problems. Eleanor concluded in her mind before walking into the prince room. Eleanor bowed her head slightly immediately she stood before Luciano. "Where have you been?" He groaned out in obvious annoyance. "I was in the kitchen with Madam Helen." She replied. "You should have been resting," He snapped in anger. Eleanor furrowed her brows at him in confusion. What the hell is wrong with him now? "I feel better." She said, almost rolling her eyes. "Well, you don't look better." "I'm better now." Eleanor said again, trying to reassure him. "No, you don't. Now go take some rest, the physician will be here soon. "I-" Eleanor tried to reassure him again but shut her mouth when he glared hard at her. She would never understand this prince, he's trying to act good but is doing it in a wrong way. She would never understand him. Nevertheless, she walked to the bed and lay on it facing away from the prince. She doesn't understand why he's doing all this. Well, as they say opportunity comes but once, she would enjoy this weird change while it lasts. With that last thought, she drifted into sleep.
