Emma's POV
As we walked out, I felt like a huge weight had been lifted off Scarlett’s shoulders. The warmth of our friendship had given her new strength, and I was confident that she would find her strength again.
On the way home, Logan and I talked about today’s meeting. “I’m glad we went, Emma. Scarlett needs our support, and seeing her better makes me feel better,” Logan said, his voice full of emotion.
“That’s right, and I’m glad I was able to help, even if it was just a little bit. Every step seems to matter in her recovery,” I said, feeling a sense of satisfaction in my heart.
We were back home, grateful for all the moments we had shared today, and hoping for many more to come. Being there for each other on this journey was the most beautiful part of our friendship and love.
And as we parted ways to head home, I felt a sense of hope grow inside me. We would always be there for each other, and our bond would only grow stronger on this journey.
I talked to Logan after we got back from visiting Scarlett. As we sat in the living room, he began to explain about our children. “Emma, you know that Adolf and Ainsley are werewolves, while Adney and Allonza are ordinary humans,” he said in a serious tone.
Honestly, his statement took me by surprise. “I never imagined that I would marry a werewolf and have children with those powers,” I said, frowning, trying to process this new information.
Logan replied with a smile, “We are indeed unique as werewolves. And I believe that each of us has our own potential and specialties.”
Hearing his words made me reflect. Even though this was a new world for me, one thing was for sure—I was still grateful to have a beautiful life. Memories of the dark past now felt even further away.
“I remember how my life was before when my family was still here. We weren’t happy,” I said, reminiscing about those times. “With them gone, I feel like I’ve lost everything.”
Logan held my hand gently. “Emma, we’ve created something amazing together. Even though we have different realities, we’ve built our own family. Our children are a part of us, and they are a source of happiness.”
His words were reassuring, and I felt a deep warmth. “Yes, I feel happier with them. They make me feel alive again,” I replied, smiling as I pictured the children’s happy faces.
“Now, we have a chance to give them a better life. We can teach them values, strength, and how to face the world,” Logan continued, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
“That’s right. There are challenges ahead, but with you, I feel ready for whatever comes,” I said, confident.
Logan smiled at me, and I could see the conviction in his eyes. “With a spirit like that, we can get through this together. We’re a team, Emma.”
That statement made me feel strong and motivated. We’d been through so much together, and while the future might be uncertain, I knew that with love and support from each other, we could face any obstacle.
“The kids will feel the same way, I’m sure,” I added, thinking of them. “They’ll learn from us and grow into strong people.”
Logan nodded. “Exactly. We have to show them the value of love and courage. Maybe one day, they’ll understand the power they have as werewolves, and how it can be a strength, not a burden.”
We paused for a moment, reflecting on the journey we’d been on, gratitude welling up in our hearts. Every challenge we faced had taught us valuable lessons, deepened our bond, and shaped us into better parents.
“Together, we’re creating a better world for them. Seeing them grow up with love and trust is everything,” I continued, inspired by the thought.
“And we’ll protect this family with all our hearts,” Logan replied firmly, affirming our commitment. “We’ll protect them and give them a life full of happiness.”
And in that moment, I realized that despite our different backgrounds, our love and bond had held us together. We’d found a way to create happiness amidst all the hardships. Our family was everything, and I was ready to fight for whatever it took to protect and preserve our happiness forever.
In that moment of communication, I became even more convinced that together with Logan, our future would be filled with hope and happiness. No matter what comes, we will stand strong, supporting and loving each other.
Suddenly, Scarlett came in with a bright smile on her face. “I have good news!” she said excitedly. Logan and I looked at each other curiously.
“What’s the good news?” Logan asked, acting friendly.
“I’m getting married to a werewolf!” Scarlett said to her people, looking very excited.
“Wow, that’s amazing, Scarlett! Who is he?” I asked, surprised but happy to hear the happy news.
“His name is Ethan,” she replied, her eyes sparkling. “He’s very kind and understanding of what I’m going through. He’s helped me through this healing process, and we’ve grown closer.”
Logan seemed happy to hear the news, but I could tell he also wanted to make sure Scarlett was on the right track. “I want to get to know Ethan better. How about we all go meet him?” he said, showing support.
“Are you sure? I want to make you comfortable, Scarlett,” I added, reassuringly.
Scarlett nodded, looking happy with the idea. “Sure! I’ll invite him. I'm sure you'll like it.”
Soon, we were all ready to go. We headed to the place where Ethan was meeting us. Tension and anticipation were in the air as we waited for his arrival.
When he finally arrived, I saw a tall man with a warm smile. “Hi, you must be Emma and Logan,” he said, shaking our hands.
“Nice to meet you, Ethan. Scarlett has told me a lot about you,” Logan said, acting friendly.
“Well, I’m glad to meet you too. Scarlett has helped me a lot,” Ethan replied, a genuine smile filling his face.
We started talking, and I could feel the positive vibes between us. Ethan seemed to really respect Scarlett and understand the power that came with being a werewolf. The conversation was enjoyable, and as time went on, any tension between us began to melt away.
“So, how did you two meet?” I asked, curious about how their relationship began.
Scarlett smiled broadly and explained, “We met at a therapy session. Ethan was very supportive of me and made me feel better about everything I was going through. We spent time together after that, and our relationship just grew naturally.”
Ethan added, “I’ve always had a fascination with werewolves. When I saw Scarlett, I knew she was special. Meeting her made me understand how powerful and precious this relationship can be.”
“She’s right, I feel so much stronger with her,” Scarlett smiled gratefully. “She makes me feel comfortable and confident.”
Logan watched intently, seemingly happy to see our friend happy. “You know that being a werewolf isn’t easy. But we’re here to support Scarlett on her journey.”
Ethan nodded, showing respect. “I understand, and I’m committed to honoring the journey she’s on. I want to protect her, and it’s important to me to support her in every way.”
The conversation continued, filled with laughter and stories. I felt more and more at ease with Ethan, and he seemed like a kind person—someone who truly understood what Scarlett was going through.
After a while, Logan asked, “What’s next for you, Ethan? Are you done planning the wedding?”
Ethan relaxed, “We want to keep it simple but meaningful. Our family and closest friends are the most important to us. We want to ask for your blessing before we celebrate.”
I saw Scarlett’s eyes light up hearing that. “That’s right, we want to make sure that everyone we love can be by our side on our special day.”
Both parties understood and supported each other’s dreams. It warmed my heart to see Scarlett find someone who embraces who she is and fights for her happiness.
After a while of chatting, Scarlett looked happy. “I feel lucky to have found someone like you, Ethan,” she said, their eyes meeting lovingly.
Seeing the two of them together made me feel happy. This was a big step for Scarlett, and I hoped that their relationship would bring happiness and genuine love. Together with Logan, I believed that this goal was to support a better life journey for our friend.
Time flew by as we talked, and before we knew it, night had arrived. We agreed to plan another meeting to discuss further wedding plans.
As we said our goodbyes, I felt optimistic and hopeful for Scarlett’s future. With each other’s support—whether in friendship or love, we’ve shown that even though life can be complicated, happiness can always be found with the people we love.
