When Jin arrived at the hotel, he immediately went to the bar on the 12th floor and spoke with the bartender. The bartender already knew his identity, but he pretended to be unaware of Jin's existence. Jin approaches the bartender in silence and slips a platinum card under the table covertly. It was a specially created card that the auction managers alone could have. The bartender poured him a glass of vodka before leaving for a moment. When the bartender returns, he politely asks Jin to follow him and leads the mafia boss to a special elevator. Jin then used his platinum card to open the elevator door and pressed the ninth button. When the elevator door opens, Jin notices a crowd of people wearing colorful masks. Jin ignores them and proceeds to the stairs, which will lead him to the observing room reserved exclusively for auction managers. Jin slides the door open, revealing the familiar faces he sees almost every day, as well as Lily. Without saying anything, Lester signals the host to begin the auction. The people listed below find their appropriate seats. As Jin scanned the area with his sharp eyes, he noticed a woman in a white dress sitting in the last seat on the left. She keeps turning her head, as if she is watching her surroundings. And that lady is none other than Himari. The seat Himari is sitting in is reserved for auction managers. Apart from running this business, they occasionally participate in their own auction for fun. The auction managers use that seat number to participate and bid on the item they want. And now Himari is sitting in that seat. "Why is Himari sitting among the other guests below?" Dice suddenly asked. "She is supposed to be sitting with us, right?" "It is her choice." Lester said as he sipped the wine from his glass. "This is her first time participating in our auction, correct?" Gael inquired as he sat back and watched the host introduce himself on stage. "That is correct. "She should have joined us here." Vincent commented. Jin ignored them all and ordered his men to patrol the area every minute to ensure the safety of this location. Jin then sits in his usual spot and quietly watches the auction. The host is introducing the guest to the artifact that Dice brought with him tonight. "And we will start bidding for one million dollars." "Two million dollars." An elderly man sitting in the front spoke. "Three million dollars." "Twelve million dollars." The old man is obviously very interested in that artifact. Right now, Dice is smiling. Jin guessed that he wants to win tonight's game. He assumed the old man would get the artifact until a clear voice suddenly raised the bidding price. "Thirteen million dollars." Everyone looks at the woman who just bid. "Fifteen million dollars!" The old man abruptly raised the amount. "Twenty million dollars." The old man looks furiously at Himari, but the woman simply smiles. Then Lester starts laughing on his side. "Heh. She always meets my expectations." "Thirty million dollars!" The old man exclaimed in a loud voice. The other guests are looking at Himari to see if she will bid more, but she never does. She maintains a calm demeanor and leans back on the seat. Himari tilts her head slightly and pretends she has lost this round. "Thirty million dollars." Going twice. Going thrice." The host looks around, and since no one was bidding anymore, he rings the bell on the table to indicate that the item had been sold. All of the guests, including Himari, clap their hands. Then Dice opens a fresh bottle of wine and pours it into his glass. He is acting as though he is already won the bet. "I guess the Goddess of Luck is on my side tonight," Dice commented. Gael throws the pillow from the sofa at Dice, but he quickly avoids it. "Shut up. The auction has only just started." Dice simply shrugs his shoulders and continues his own victory celebration. He is a fool for celebrating a fraudulent victory. Thirty million dollars is a small amount. The bidding goes on until Gael's item is up for grabs. "Three million dollars!" "Ten million dollars!" "Twenty million dollars." Himari said in a clear voice. "Twenty-three million dollars." "Thirty million dollars." Himari is currently competing against a woman in a red dress. She is smiling as she raises the bidding price, as she always does. "Thirty-three million dollars!" "Thirty-five million dollars. The woman in the red dress is looking at Himari with contempt. Himari returns her gaze to the woman in the red dress and smiles sweetly. Himari appears to be challenging the woman in question. Because of this, the woman decided to bid more than Himari. "Forty million dollars!" Himari looks around at the other guests who are also looking at her after she says that amount. She then lets out a soft sigh and sits in her chair, relaxed. Because she refuse to bid again, the woman in the red dress won the diary. Dice is now sitting in the chair, pouting his lips. He looks ridiculous trying to imitate a child. This irritates Jin. What irritates him the most is Gael, who is jumping in delight in front of them. "Your Goddess of Luck has left you, Dice." Gael said, patting his shoulder. "She decided to bestow her luck on me." "Did you forget that my item has not yet been shown on stage?" Vincent said with a smile, ruining Gael's mood. "What is so great about that painting?" Gael complained. "It is simply a drawing of a woman's silhouette." "You ignorant fool! "You knew nothing about art." Vincent said, looking at Gael with sharp eyes. Jin ignores them once more, focusing on the auction and a specific woman. Jin thought of a question as he peered at her closely. "Has Himari brought anything to sell at the auction this evening?" Jin asked Lester, who is spoiling his girlfriend next to him. "Yes." Lester simply replied and went about his business. He is curious as to what she has brought tonight. After a few more items, Vincent's painting has arrived on stage. Because Vincent is a well-known artist, it is not uncommon for the other guests to be his fans. Jin learned that some of the attendees at this auction are hoping to acquire a rare masterpiece created by Vincent. Before long, the presenter sets the starting bid at five million dollars.
