The guests glance in abruptly at Himari, who placed the recent bid. The guests are paying her more attention now that she is here. Indeed, the auction is livelier than it was before because of her competitiveness.
"Eighty million dollars."
"Ninety-five million dollars."
Himari is now competing with a male guest. Jin remembered that the guest is one of Vincent's avid fans. It seems like he really likes the painting on the stage, but also anxious to bid more. Since he does not speak, the host suddenly counts on the stage.
"Ninety-five million dollars. Going twice. Going thrice." Then the host pause for a little bit. "Then this painting will go to—"
"Wait! One hundred million dollars!" The man shouted. Then he looks at Himari with anxious eyes.
Himari stares at the man. Then she claps her hands and shows him a sweet smile. Because of this, the man let out a sigh of relief before smiling again. This result makes Vincent satisfied.
"Though I am expecting a higher amount than this, I think it is quite okay. At least we all know who is the real winner now." Vincent smugly said to the other two.
Jin does not let his attention lingers on them so he focus on the auction again. Then the host reveals the jewel Jin had brought on the stage. The bidding amount starts at two million dollars.
"Four million dollars."
"Five million dollars."
"Seven million dollars."
"Eight million dollars."
Then after that, no one dares to bid again. Unconsciously, Jin looks at Himari who is now resting her head on her palm while looking at the jewel displayed on the stage. Then the host waits for a while before declaring that the jewel is sold for a mere amount of eight million dollars. Then Jin feels someone tapping on his shoulder. It was Dice.
"Maybe she does not know that is your item, Jin." Dice said trying to console his friend. 
Jin glares at him before harshly removing Dice's hand on his shoulder. He is not interested in winning their bet, but Jin feels displeased with Himari right now. He doubts that she does not know that the item displayed on the stage earlier is the item he brought for tonight's auction. She lively competed with the other guests a while ago but did not move when she saw his item on the stage. 
A few more items were being displayed on the stage. As for the auction managers, they already lost their interest in it. Since Vincent sold his painting at a high price, he is currently celebrating his small victory. Jin also lost his interest in the auction so he called his men to check what they are doing right now. As Jin put his phone back in his pocket, he suddenly hears the host announcing the last item for the auction tonight.
"This is the last item we are going to sell for tonight. This item is extremely rare and precious, especially for those people who were interested in music." The host said before removing the cloth covering the item on the glass box. "It is a music sheet of the song entitled "Nam Aliquem Mea". This is a page that comes from the music notebook personally owned by the famous musician, Shiri."
The moment the host announces the name of the composer, the crowd suddenly gets excited.
"Just like always, you can rest assured that this piece is real and authentic. Before we show this item tonight, we made a thorough investigation for this piece. And as a proof, thee blood signature of Shiri was signed on the right corner on the page."
The crowd becomes more excited because of it. Jin does not know what is happening to them, but he is aware that their reaction is good for their business tonight. Lester is watching the auction with interested eyes. The bidding amount starts at ten million dollars.
"Ten million dollars!"
"fifteen million dollars!"
"Thirty million dollars!"
"Sixty million dollars."
The crowd is getting more excited. Lester is smiling in delight. Why wouldn't he? This last piece is bringing more money to the business. The other three are also looking at the auction with smiles on their faces.
"Seventy million dollars."
"Two hundred million dollars!"
After hearing the latest amount, the crowd falls silent. If someone asks Jin, two hundred million dollars is a significant sum. The highest bidder was a tall man dressed in a gray suit. They all thought he would win the music sheet for that amount, but someone bid more than him.
"Three hundred million dollars." Himari said with a smile on her face. 
Because she bids again, the crowd gets livelier and more excited. The man silently looks at her before bidding again.
"Five hundred million dollars."
"Six hundred million dollars."
"Eighteen hundred million dollars."
"Eight hundred fifty million dollars."
Himari continues to challenge that man. The man continues to look in her direction without saying anything. From the seat where the auction managers can see everything, it appears that Himari is also looking at him. Her smile remains plastered on her face.
"One billion dollars!!!" The man said. 
All of the guests, including themselves, are now looking at Himari. After a few seconds, she rises from her seat and smiles at the man, before nodding slightly. Then she gets out of her seat and walks to the door. Her actions leave the audience stunned. When the host begins counting again on stage, the guests awkwardly return their focus to the stage. Finally, the man in the gray suit was given the music sheet. 
After a few formalities, the auction officially ended for tonight. The guests leave the venue one by one until there is no one left. Jin ordered his men to double-check the venue before leaving. As for them, they all decided to go to the penthouse and celebrate. Today's auction is a huge success. The auction managers also gathers a huge amount of money tonight.
When they arrived at the penthouse, Himari was already inside. Her back is turned to them as she speaks on the phone. Her voice is too soft for them to hear what she is saying. When Himari notices the auctioneers, she smiles at them before quickly saying goodbye to the person she is speaking with on the phone. 
Then Himari starts walking towards Jin. Jin just stays where he is when she surprises them by standing on tiptoe in front of him and kissing his left cheek. Vincent and Dice both let out loud gasps, while the others observed them quietly. Himari then tilts her head slightly.
"You didn’t miss me?" She asked. "You are too heartless, Jin."
"Boyfriend?!"
Jin remains silent and focuses on Himari. She warmly smiles at Jin before wrapping her arms around his right arm. She gives a little humming noise and then boldly entwines her fingers with Jin's. 
"You guys were not informed by Jin?" Himari asked. She then smiled mischievously at them. "We have been together for a month already."
