Xander POV.
We sat there for almost fifteen minutes in each other’s embrace until she stopped crying.
“Am sorry, am wetting your shirt. Am such a cry baby”. Claire said as she gave a little distance between us and took a handkerchief out of my bag and wiped her face.
“Not you are not. It’s okay to cry. Crying doesn’t mean you are weak, it’s means you are human and you have emotions.” I said as I took the handkerchief from her hand and helped her to wipe away her tears.
“Thank you for being here with”.
“It’s my pleasure”. I replied her truthfully because indeed it’s my pleasure. Anything that has to do with her will always be my pleasure.
“I didn’t know that’s what they think of me. I …” Claire started saying but then bust into tears.
“Shhhh! It’s okay.” I consoled her as I arm my hands around her and hugged her again. She placed her head on my chest and kept crying.
“I wasn’t never trying to befriend you or your sister just to be part of the elite. I will never to do that.” She lift up her head from my chest as she try to explain herself.
I held her face with my two hands and made her face me directly; “O come on, you don’t have to explain yourself because believe me if Alissa didn’t wish to be your friend, you wouldn’t have talk to you. Hell I didn’t too, I wouldn’t have been here with you. So stop thinking and believing what those girls said okay?”.
“Okay!”.
“That’s my girl. Now put a smile on your face”. I cheered her up. And she gave me a big smile. Just then the bell rang. What a wrong timing I thought.
“Do you what to go for your next class or do you wish to skip?”. I asked her. If she wants to skip I would talk to the principal on her behalf.
“No i will go for my class. I don’t want to give them a satisfaction that they hurt me!”. Claire determined. Well then I guess my mate isn’t a quitter.
“You go girl”. I cheered her and gave her a high five. I stood up, and gave her my hand so that I could help her up.
“Are you sure you are okay? Is later to late to change your mind about attending the class”. I told her. I am worried that she might have another breakdown.
“Am fine. Thank you for being here for me”. She gave me a genuine smile and a peck on the cheek before she quickly entered her class. I stood there for a minute with my hand touching the spot where she had peck.
“Dude are you going to stand there forever?”. Josh waved his hands to my face and that when I noticed that some people at the hallway where looking at me. I force myself to move to my class with a big smile on my face. I can’t really believe she pecked me.
“If you are behaving like this because of a peck, I can’t wait to see your reaction on the day she kiss you on the lips”. Allen mocked at me and him and Josh gave each other a high five. Good to know that am the source of their entertainment.
“Well no matter how am going to react, I very sure that am not going to faint because of a kiss unlike someone I know of”. I mocked back at Allen. Josh and I busted into laughter as we recall the incident.
Alissa begin crazy, at first was avoiding Allen due to a reason best non to them. So by the time she started giving him her attention, It’s was making him go crazy. The very first time they shared a kiss, they where in the garden having a picnic “date” when Alissa came rushing into the house that Allen has fainted. When we inquire from her what had happened, she explained to us that she kissed him unaware and the next thing she saw was him fainting. When he had woke up, he became a source of entertainment to the entire pack. It happened two years ago but it’s still fresh in my memory and I used it against him in moments like this.
“For heaven sake, must you always bring this up? Can’t you delete it from your mommy?”. Allen who has turn red from blushing said.
“Never! I will keep using it against you. In fact it will be the first story I will tell to your children”. I winked at him and continued laughing.

It’s was closing time, so I rushed to our private lounge and took the cupcakes box my mate gave me with the attention of eating it at home. Next I went to her class to check on her to see if she is around but then Alissa told me that she has left.
Well I hope she it’s really okay now. We went home and Alissa and I where told that our mom wanted to see us. I wonder what’s up.
We walked to the Alpha’s private lounge. I intended to knock but Alissa just opened the door and walk in so I went in after her.
We walked in on mom and dad making out wildly. When did dad get back? He was not suppose to until next week. Before we realize, dad and mom started taking off each others clothes off.
“Dad!!! Mom!!!” Alissa and I screamed together. And dad separate himself from mom that’s was after he gave her a deep kiss. What shameless parents I have.
“Kids I didn’t noticed you entered. Don’t you miss your old man? Come give me a hug”. Dad beacon on us to come over and we walked to him and gave him a peck on his cheek and we did the same for mom too.
“What’s that in your hand”. Mom pointed at the box of cupcakes that I was holding. I didn’t have the opportunity to go to my room and change that’s why is still in my hand. Before I could reply, Alissa grab it and pass it to mom whose eyes lighten up when see saw the cupcakes. Next her and dad took a piece and took a bite.
“Hmm this is very delicious where did you get it from?” Mom questioned as she took another bite again.
I kept quiet because I don’t what to tell them and become the topic of conversation.
“Actually his mate gave it to him”. Alissa replied on my behalf and I gave her a glare. One of these days am going to choke her.
“Really?”. Mom asked excitedly.
“Wait what? Alexander has a mate? Why didn’t bu know of it?”. Dad asked surprises. I personally thought mom told him since they share everything with each other.
“Yes he does, he found her a forth night ago. I want it to be a surprise for you that’s why you weren’t informed. Mom explained to dad before she turned at face Alissa.
“And you young lady, you know that it was given to him by his mate why did you pass it to me and allow us to eat it? If am not mistaken it’s the first gift given to him by his mate so he is supposed to have it to himself.”
“Am sorry!”. Alissa silently said.
“Mom it’s fine really. I don’t mind sharing it with you guys”. I assured her.
“Congratulations my boy! You are finally becoming a man. You and I are going to have a man to man discussion after lunch okay?” Dad walk to me and gave me a hug. And I nodded my head. It’s been ages we had a one on one discussion with him.
“By the way, dad why are you back this early? Hope nothing is wrong?” . Alissa voiced out the question that was in my mind.
“Well the meeting ended early and I was missing the love of my life so I decided to come back early.” Dad explained as he winked at mom and she started blushing. I just love the way mom and dad behave like teenagers. It’s one of the thing that keeps their love life still strong.
Mom cleared her throat and addressed us; “okay kids the reason why I called you here is to inform on the annual Desilva dinner party which is on Saturday. We all are going no excuses. We are going shopping tomorrow is that clear?”.
“Yes ma!” Alissa and I saluted at the same time.
“Well in that case, you might want to excuse us. My mate and I have some unfinished business.” Mom said and started making her way to dad.
“Ewww!”. Alissa screamed and we both quickly rushed out of the room.
