Xander POV~
“ wait for me here! Let me go and drop this”. Xander said to Claire as he hurried into the Avila’s private lounge and kept the box containing the remaining cupcakes. This is the first gift giving to him by his mate, so he is going to take his time to eat it. He was actually touched because he didn’t expect her to Bering him something as a sign of apperception.
As he went into the lounge to drop the parcel in his personal drawer and then locked it because he don’t someone to come check it out later. And by someone, Xander meant Alissa. Went it comes to his stuff, she doesn’t respect his privacy, quoting; “ we are siblings there is nothing like privacy between us”.
Those pack members that where present in the lounge started hailing him.
“Awww it’s just been two days and You and your mate are already playing house”. Alissa cheered and I gave her a middle finger before I went out of the lounge.
I escorted my mate to the front of her class and then went my way to attend mine.
All through the classes, I was thinking about our morning conversation. I remember the look of shock that was on her face when I took a bit of the cupcakes. I didn’t why she had the look, I mean wasn’t she expecting me eat? I will always eat what ever comes from her. Even if it’s poison, I will take it and die a happy man.
“Alright I know you are in a great mood but seriously dude stop smiling like that it’s creeping me out”. Allen who is seating beside said out him mind.
“So do you prefer that i should frown?”. I gave him one of my deadly glare as I turned to face him.
“Nope! Never mind! I was just joking. You look quite handsome while smiling.” Allen rephrase his sentence as he moves back. An Alpha’s glare it’s very deadly so that scared him off for me.
“Guys face the board or will end up with a detention. But since they can’t give you that, they are going to call the Luna and that won’t good for the both of you. Imagine the future Alpha and Beta being reported for misbehaving in school”. Josh who is also among our pack members whispered to both Allen and I.
After that, we both turned to pay attention to the board and actually saw that the teacher was looking at us but he didn’t say anything. The truth is that the teachers are actually afraid of giving detention since we own a percentage in the school’s board. So my mom ordered them to report to her directly if anyone of us misbehaves. She is going to give the punishment herself and that would be good at all because mom can really be ruthless when she wants to be. Heck! Even dad the Alpha himself fears her some times.

Soon it’s lunch time and I can’t wait to go not just because of anything but to see my mate.
We went to sat at our table, and we where served our food. From our table, I was monitoring my mate. She and the girl sitting beside her at the table seems to be having a conversation. Since werewolves have super hearing abilities, I was listening to what they where saying. The girls where curios on why my sister was interacting with her as if that’s their business.
Their talk was getting hotter as the time goes by and I could sense my mate getting angry.
She finally snapped at the them. And one of the Becky insulted her saying something about my mate coming here and acting innocent and trying to befriend us the Avila’s. Like what the hell its their problem. I clench my fist trying to stop myself from walking over to them.
“Like what is their problem for God sake. She owes non of them an explanation of what she does”. Alissa said looking quite angry too. I look around our table and noticed that everyone of them was also angry. Since all of us are werewolves, we could listen to all their conversations.
My mate stood up and took her bag and left the cafeteria. As she passed by our table, her eyes meet mine for a second before she turned her face and left.
“Give me one good reason why I should walk up to those girls and give them a piece of my mind.” Alissa spoke out the exact words that where in my mind.
“Because this is a human school system and you are going to get in trouble if you do that. But that’s doesn’t mean we are going to allow them to get away with what they did.” Ivory stated and started Bering ideas on how we could indirectly make them pay.
I wasn’t paying attention to what they are saying. I was thinking about my mate. I don’t know if I should go after her because she looks as if she wants to be left alone and not bothered.
“You should after her!” Allen suggested as if he could understand the dilemma I was in.
“Hh?”.
“Your mate, you should go after her. I know she looks like she wants to be left alone but truth she will appreciate it if are with her at the moment”. Allen insisted. I nodded my head at he and stood up and quickly went after not before giving those girls a deadly glare. I will let Alissa handle them just right. After all she is related to the devil”.
I stood for a moment trying to think about the possible place she could be. My heart keeps telling that she is at the rooftop so I decided to go there.
I entered into the rooftop and I saw her seating at the far end crying. My heart broke. Damn those girls, they are surly going to pay.
Claire must have sense me coming closer because she turned to look at me with her eyes feel with tears. I rushed to her and without thinking, I gave her a tight hug and she started crying afresh.
