“Claire are you coming?.” Alissa asked.
“Yes sure!.” I got the hold of my self as I follow her to the mighty building.
The building is to big to be even called a mansion. I understand why people refer it as a palace. It is five story high and is done in a curve shape. At the center of the water fountain is a large sculpture of a wolf.
Alissa open the double door and I entered into the house after her. I suck in a breath when my eyes look around the building. The walls of the house are made of gold. There are long chandeliers light at every point of the high ceilings. At the end of the hallway is a grand double staircase. The floors are made up expensive marbles. Everything in the house screams expensive.
“Xander is in his room, we will head there now”. Alissa said and leads us to an elevator. Of cause they will have an elevator. What do I expect.
The pressed on the button of the last floor and in no time we are there. The lead us to the east wink of the building. We soon reach a double door that says “Alexander”.
So I guess this is Xander’s room. Alissa opened the door and we entered inside. It seems as if we walk right into an apartment. We are standing in a very big lounge room right. The lounge has a very big television on the wall. There is also a piano and a guitar at the side. It knows like a typical rich boy’s crib. The one thing I love the must about the lounge room is the high windows that surround the whole room. You can see the amazing view of the forest from where I am standing.
Alissa went and knocked at a door at the end of the lounge room. I guess that is Xander’s bedroom.
Alissa kept on knocking but there is no response from the inside.
“Xander open up! I know you are in there!”. Alissa said as she kept in knocking on his door.
“Go away!”. Xander said from inside of the room.
“I won’t. You have a guest!”. Alissa said.
“I don’t want to see anyone!”. Xander replied.
“It’s Claire you moron! But since you don’t want to see her. It’s fine, we will leave now!.” Alissa screamed.
Immediately she finished talking, Xander came out of his room.
“I thought you won’t come out. I will leave you both to talk things out”. Alissa said and excused herself. Xander and I stood looking at each other. As much as I tried not to look at his body, I can’t help it. He is not wearing any shirt. His chest and muscular arms are bare to me. I must admit he has a fine body, he must really work out a lot. He has a wolf head tattoo on the upper part of his chest. I don’t understand what is their obsession with wolves. From the water fountain, ti the painting hanged on the wall and now this.

Xander stood and we kept looking at each other with non of us saying anything.
“Hi!”. I waved at him when I am tired of the silence.
“How are you feeling now?”. I asked him again when he didn’t say anything.
“Can I hug you?”. Xander nervously asked as he walk to me. I nod my head as a go ahead to him.
Xander wrap his arms around my waist and hug me tight.
“I missed you!”. Xander whispered into my ears and I hug him back. We stood there in each other’s embrace for almost twenty minutes. We are now seating on Xander’s couch.
“I am still angry with you. You had a break down in my front and you then ghost me for a week not even a phone or text. Did it occur to you how I might be feeling?.” I addressed Xander.
“I know. I am very sorry. If I could rewind time and change my behavior that day, trust I will do it. Believe me when I saw that I love you. I really mean it.” Xander stated.
“I understand!.” I replied him.
“Em.. so does that mean that we are still together?”. Xander nervously asked me.
“Yes of cause. Did we break up before?.” I asked him.
“ o thank god! I thought I have loss you!.” Xander said and hugged me again.
“There is something I want to tell you, but promise me first that you won’t leave me!.” Xander said with fear in his voice and eyes.
“Hey don’t be afraid! I won’t ever leave you!.” I promise him.
“Alright get up, I want to show you something.” Xander took my hand and lead me out of the room.
We went down the elevator and went out of the house and into the forest behind the house. So now he is being to scare me a little bit.
“If notice there is something different about my family.” Xander stated saying. I have actually noticed that but I am yet to point out what it is.
“We are not fully humans. Well technically, we are not not humans.” Xander pause to look at my reaction.
“So what are you trying to tell me?”. I asked him.
Xander’s POV ~
Am actually a werewolf!" I said to her with my heart beating very fast because I am actually afraid of her reaction.
"Yeah right and I am a vampire!". Claire said while rolling her eyes. She obviously didn't believe me.
But I am determined to tell her today because it's actually took me a lot of courage to be doing this right now.
"Claire am not joking, am actually a werewolf". I tired to convince her again.
"Then prove it" She stated.
"Alright! But promise me that you won't run away!". I said to her and she nodded her head.
Well here goes nothing! I took a deep breath and transformed into a wolf and kept my eyes closed waiting for her reaction. The next thing I heard is a scream and the sound of someone falling. I open my eyes to see that Claire has fainted. Well at least she didn't run away. I quickly transformed back to my human form and lifted her body and took her inside the house.
When Alissa told me that Claire is her to see me, I knew that the goddess have given me another chance to be with her.
I made up my mind to tell her the truth about us and not keep anything from her anymore.
Now I have to wait for her to wake up.
Clair POV~
I woke up on a very soft bed. I realized that this is not my room. I recalled everything that happened earlier on. Xander must have brought me here.
I went out of the room into the lounge and the movement of my leg must have attract the attention of Xander who is seating of the lounge. Xander stood up and turn to look at me. He walked to me but kept some distance between us.
“So..?” Xander asked waiting for me to make the next move.
“So if you are a wolf does that mean I am your mate?”. I asked him. I have always enjoy reading werewolves books so I know a lot of things about them.
“Yes. You are not angry?.” Xander asked surprise.
“Nope! Thanks for telling me!.” I told him. And for the next two hours, Xander told me all the things I need to know about werewolves. Turns about he is the future Alpha of the Avila pack and that makes their future Luna that is if I accept him.
At the end of the day, I made my decision.
“I Claire Hudson, accept you Alexander Gray as my mate!”. I said.
“Thank you. And I Alexander Gray accept you too as my mate”. Xander smiled at me snd lean over to kiss me.
No matter what the future holds, we will over come it together.
