I went out of the changing room and stood in front of them.
“Well. What do you guys think?”. I asked when I saw that all of them where speechlessly looking at me.
“Wow!.” Stacy managed to break out of her trance.
“Wow damn right!”. Freddy commented.
“Never have I been speechless in my life like today.” Freddy continued.
“Mom? How do I look ?”. I asked my mom wanting to here from her.
“O dear, you look very beautiful. I can’t believe my daughter is all grown up!.” Mom emotionally said as she wipes away a tear or two from her eyes.
“Thank you mom.”
“You are definitely taking this. All you need is silver jewelries to match the outfit with it.” Freddy commented.
“That’s right Freddy, we are definitely taking this. Claire go and change so that we can get the jewelries and the shoes”. Mom instructed. I went back into the changing room and carefully took off the dress.
Mom paid for the dresses and Stacy accompanied us to the shoe section. Mom and I ended up choosing a matching silver heels. Mom own is about four inches high while mine is six inches. The shoes also came with a matching silver clutch.
After that, we went to the jewelry section. Since we can’t afford diamond jewelries, we settled for Crystal gems stone jewelries. Bu the time we where done, it was already late and I am exhausted. As soon as we got home, I don’t even have the strength to take the boxes out of the car. I made a mental note to take them out early in the morning before breakfast or mum might talk. I went straight to my room and immediately slept off without pulling off my uniforms.
The next day I woke up feeling as if I was hit by a truck last night. I seriously don’t know how all this celebrities survive with always going for shopping and attending dinners and event. Seriously, that life is not for me.
I can’t believe I slept in my uniform. Thank god I have other pairs if not, it will have been story for the gods.
I went straight to the bathroom and took my showers. I don’t have strength for any dress up today. Moreover, since today it’s sport, we will only have to wear the uniform until break time.
I head downstairs praying that mum prepared a sweet breakfast because I am actually very hungry. The last time I eat was yesterday break time when Xander brought the sausage and apple just for me.
“Good morning mom! Morning dad!.” I peck both of them on their cheek.
“Morning Claire. How was your night? Hope you slept well. You must have been tired yesterday because you went to sleep as soon as you and your mom came back from shopping.” Dad pointed out.
“Yes dad, I was tired but I am now alright.” I said. I frowned when I noticed that my food is not at the table.
“It’s good to see that you are no longer tired. Hi and off load the boxes from the car before you come back for you breakfast!”. Mom said in a voice that gives no room for augment. I look at dad whether he can help me out of this but dad turns his face as soon as we made i contacted. I knew that I have no choice but to do as my asked. I stoped my backpack on the chair I went outside. The boxes are about six in numbers and it took me four times to take them into the house.
I went back to the dining table and meet a plate of noodles blanket with a cup of fruit parfait waiting for me. At least the breakfast is worth the work I did.
“So I can see you in the dresses or I have to wait until the time for the charity event ?.” Dad asked.
“You have to wait until the time for the event. We don’t want you to faint out of shook twice in two days.” Mum teased dad.
“O really? The i await to see my girls then.” Dad winked at us.
“I hate the fact that I have to share my husband with you. Go and look for yours.” Mom complained.
“Hell No! You are stock here with me.” I told mom before I moved closer and peck dad on his cheek to make her angry the more.
“I will soon live this house for you.!” Mom murmured.
“Go ahead. After all, no body is stopping you from going”. I said as I stare directly at mom.
“Darling, are you listening to her?.” Mom look at dad for help. Da gave me a playful glare before he turned his attention to mom.
“O love . Don’t mind her, you know that no one can replace you in my heart.” Dad comforted mom and gave her a kiss. And for the rest of the breakfast, mom and dad kept on acting lovey dovey. And poor innocent me have no choice than to tolerate it since I am very hungry and I need to eat.
After breakfast, mom dropped me off at school.
