"Where have you been? I tried calling you like two times. I almost thought you got lost." Ron said to me.

"I just ran into some friends." I smiled.
He looked at me weirdly.
"Boyfriend?" he asked, his gaze fixed on the road.
"I told you, friend."
I was busy texting Bella eabout earlier.
"You don't want to come inside first?" I asked. 
"Nah. Kate probably home alone and I didn't want her to be mad at me that long."
"You two live together?" I was curious.
He smirked and said goodbye.

"I'm home!" I said, and Mom greeted me back. I sometimes hate being the youngest. I have two brothers and one sister. They are all in college now. Well, Ron and Rex. Rania was probably still in her honeymoon mood since she got married a month ago.
They leave me alone with mom and dad, who's always busy with work. Almost every day I'm home alone. But yeah, I got used to it. Ron and Rex are twins. But they didn't attend the same college. I haven't figured it out yet about what I am going to be. Although I'm already in my senior year. Yes. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't afraid.
Dinner was fine. As usual, They keep asking about how I am doing at school. Mom was back at the hospital. She said they needed her there. While my dad's still up. saying that he had a lot of paper work to be done. tiring. I locked the door and took my coat. The breeze was cold. And I regretted just wearing shorts. Stupid. I decided to just have a walk. When I reached the nearest park, I heard someone singing. I was scared. Is that a ghost?
"Hello?" I said, and the singing stopped.

"Hello?" again. Nobody. I sigh, sitting down on the bench.
While I was busy in my thoughts, I heard someone singing again. This time it's getting closer.
"Hello from the other side..." I heard someone whisper and when I turned around, I saw someone. I was startled. I was already on the ground. Ouch. My butt hurt.
The person laughed. I mean, really laugh. Oh, I know now that he or she is annoying.
"What are you doing here at this hour?" he asked, because he sounded like a boy. So he is.
I didn't even know who he was, so I decided to stay on the ground. My butt still hurts.
"Let me help you. I won't bite."
He said, chuckling. And this scared the shit out of me. I reached for his hand when I finally saw his face. He let go of me and I ended up on the ground. Again, My butt is seriously hurting. He laughed again. Hmm, that's an improvement? He rarely laughed at school or even smiled.
I managed to stand, but my butt is still hurting.
"Ugh. Why are you even here?" I said annoyed. I really am because he made my butt hurt like hell.
"Finding someone to kill? Yes."

When he heard me not responding. He laughed again. Is he high? This Nicolas frightened me...Well, not really. He's weird, but I enjoyed being with him at the same time.
"What are you exactly doing here?" He said as he sat on the bench.
"Fishing elephants?" I shrug. And I didn't mean to make him laugh, but he did.
That stupid remark made him laugh? Wow. He really is something.
"That's stupid. Why can't you just tell me the truth?" he said. Huh? What 'truth'?
"What do you mean?" I raise an eyebrow.
"The truth is that you came here to stalk me." he smirked.
Unbelievable. As much as I wanted to stalk him, right now. I just wanted to punch him. with my lips. Haha... I don't know why but he's weird from the Nicolas that I knew at school?
"You think so highly of yourself."
We sat in silence. I hate being silent when he's around me.
"I can't sleep." I finally say. He didn't respond. Nicolas, you idiot, I sigh.
"Same?" It sounded more like a question.
I smiled, hoping that he could not see me.
"You know..." he trailed off.
My heart beats faster. My stomach is filled with butterflies. I'm dying.
"I don't like you. I will never like you." he added.
Wow. His words stung like hell. I obviously wanted to cry, but I kept it to myself. Well, at least I managed to make him hate me. Applause for myself. And when he says never, It hurt me a lot.
"You don't even know me, Nicolas Flynn." Yes, I tried my best not to cry in front of him.
I decided to leave.
"Try me." he said.

"Never mind. You won't understand it anyway." He said, and why do I feel insulted by his remarks?
"You annoying, stupid, ugly tall human!"
