Even at lunch, Bella and I didn't talk much. It was just her talking and me listening.
"Hey, I heard that you have practise this evening."
"It's great that you're going to act with Nicolas."
"What was your role again?"
"I wish I could see you two."
"Are you even listening?"
I nod.
"Of course. It's delicious."
I smiled. She just shook her head in disbelief.
"Did something happen?" She was worried. I shake my head, saying no.
"Uh, I'll see you later. I'm going to the washroom." I took my bag and left. I didn't know why I was acting weird today. It's just huh. I'm tired.
"Hey, you okay?" It was Damien.
Why do people like bothering me today?
"I'm okay."
"Can I ask you something?"
I stared at him.
"What?" I was curious.
"Do you want to go home together? I'll drive you home." He scratched the back of his head. Since he's not one of the characters, I think that's why he's going home earlier.
"Sure." I smiled. I'm not in the mood to walk or take the crowdy school bus . So why not? "Okay. I'll see you after school."
Is it just me, or has Damien suddenly become cute? Maybe it's just me. Except for Damien, who's giving me a ride home, nothing is actually okay. I hate Monday. I'm moody today is probably one of the reasons why. School ends. And I saw my classmates in literature walking to the auditorium. They look so excited. There's nothing to be excited about, to be honest. I walk away from them.
"Rose! You're not going?"
I heard Violet say I turned around and said I was going to the washroom and I'd be there soon.
"Okay. See you there!"
I actually lied about going to the auditorium. I was actually making my way towards Damien, who was now standing in front of my locker. I smiled when he saw me. He is actually pretty fun to be with. The car ride was fun. He keeps telling jokes and his awkward moments. It was so weird that I actually laughed. I'm not in the mood today, but I guess that he changed my mind.
"I'll see you tomorrow, I guess."
He smiles. I waved at him and said goodbye. It was about 2 pm when I reached home. I decided to do my homework and took a shower. I need some sleep.
At about 7, I was called for dinner. Mom looks happy today. I wonder why? Dad also had a smile on his face. They keep telling jokes at dinner. It was actually pretty fine. My dad said that he's going to send me to school tomorrow. I see someone's in a good mood. When we finished dinner, I said goodnight to both of them and went to my room. I grabbed my phone and sat on my bed. I've got two unread messages. Huh?
The first message said,

It was absolutely from Nicolas. What does he want now? And the second one was from him too.
:Oiiiiiiii
He really has got some issues. Last time I checked, he didn't like me, so why is he texting me now? I was about to reply when he called. I didn't know why suddenly I felt nervous.
:What do you want?
I said over the phone. I heard him chuckle. How I missed his voice
:Why didn't you attend the practise earlier?
He asked.
:Why do you care?
I smirk to myself.
:I do.
I was silent. WHAT
:It was boring I didn't see your grumpy face.
Huh, he just has to annoy me.
:Funny. What do you want?
I ask again. He was silent.
:I remember you telling me that you didn't like me. Why did you call then?
I am a very curious person.
:I'm bored, Rosa. When I said I didn't like you, I didn't say I wouldn't call you.
I could feel him smirking. Somehow, I felt special when he said that
:You're weird, Nicolas. Honestly, what do you want?
I asked for the third time.
:Are you busy or something?
Again, He answers a question with a question. I sigh again.
:Speak
I said and he started to talk about the practise earlier, saying how stupid Hanna was and how stupid everyone was. What a typical person he is. I was happy that he chose to call me and talk about the practice. I don't know. Him calling me makes me happy. It was already 11 p.m.
I'm sleepy, but Nicolas is still talking on the other line.
:Are you even listening?
I heard him say I decided to stay silent.
:Oiiiiiiiii
I decided to ignore him.
:Rosaaaa
He sounded so cute, ugh.
:Hmm
That was the only reply I gave to him. He was silent.
:I'm hanging up now.
I said. No response? I was about to end the call when he finally spoke.
:Hey, can I ask for something?
okay that's weird...
:What?
I was always the curious one.
:Sing me to sleep?
Why did he suddenly become such a cute person? I can't stop myself from smiling.
:I don't sing Nicolas. Goodbye
I chuckled. And with that, I ended the call. He seriously is something.
