Saturday was boring. I didn't know what to do. Bella was spending time with her brother. Her mom asked her to babysit him, so she can't go to my house even if she wanted to. I was thinking about going somewhere, but I didn't want to go alone. I think I could die in my house. Suddenly, I heard the front door being knocked on. I was curious. I didn't invite anybody. Who could it be? I walk to the door and open it.
"Hi"
He said, smiling, with a white lily in his hand. I was staring at him. Confused
"Uhm. Hey? What are you doing here?"
"Why? Can't I visit my girlfriend?"
He chuckled. Not funny.
"Caleb, Seriously, what do you want?"
I'm getting annoyed with him. He sighs.
"I just wanted to meet you. Why do you hate me so much?" He asked, staring at me. "And this is for you."
He gave me the lily. I took it without thinking. I love Lily.
"Uh thanks..." I was thinking about whether to invite him to come in or not.
"Can I come in?"
Should I? Well, at least I have a friend to talk to.
"Sure."
I opened the door for him to enter. He walked in and looked around.
"Hmm.. still the same as I used to see."
He smiled. Yeah, right. The couch was 3 weeks old.
"So..... What are you actually doing here?"
I asked again. He chuckled.
"I told you I wanted to see you. And I miss you so much."
He said, taking a seat on the couch.
"Come here."
Is he serious? I stared at him as if he was joking.
"Why?"
"You didn't change much."
"I won't gobble you up. Come here. Please?"
He made the face. Ugh. I walked to sit next to him. He moved closer.
"What are you doing?"
I asked curiously. Closer. He did something I wasn't expecting. He hugged me. I was frozen in place. What is he doing?
"I miss you. I'm sorry that I left."
I could feel his breath on my neck. Why now? I have nothing to say. I didn't know what I should say. So I keep silent.
"But now I'm back. Did you know how it hurt me to see you with that guy? Yes. I was hurt. A lot. Even when I left, I didn't mean to. I always miss you every day. And I regret the day I left you. Forgive me please."
He said, looking straight into my eyes. I didn't know. I was afraid.
"Okay."
It sounds more like a whisper, but I still say it. Why did I even forgive him anyway? Ugh, wasting my time. He thanked me and leaned in. What the heck is happening? What about Nicolas? Wait. He's not even my boyfriend. But neither is Caleb.
"You know I have Nicolas."
I lie again. He sighs.
"Can we at least be friends? I don't want to lose you again. I will try to accept that you have someone. I will. Please just don't shut me out."
"Fine. I don't like you being stubborn."
I hit him in the chest slightly. He smiled.
"What?" I was just joking. Don't be mad."
He talked about the day when he raised his voice at me.
"You scared me to death!"
He laughs.
"Why are you so scared of me? It's not like I will eat you alive... but I'll think about it. Since you are so addictive.
He's back. To be honest, I do miss him, but I can't be his anymore. "Friend" is enough. I wonder why he suddenly went missing last year? We spent time watching some movies and talking about things that we missed. It's just like the old days.
"I'll see you at school."
I waved, saying goodbye. He stopped and turned around. I was confused. He walked up to me and kissed me on my cheek. I felt weird. shocked. Confused?
"What was that for?"
"That's just a friendly gesture. See you."
He's weird. That's for sure. I guess we're friends now. Me and Caleb. He knew that Nicolas is my boyfriend. Well, I didn't tell him about the part that Nicolas himself doesn't know that he's my boyfriend. Wait, who am I kidding? Nicolas is not even my boyfriend. He hated me so much.
Just great.
The next day, mom was at home the whole day. That makes me less lonely in this house. She decided that she and I needed some quality time today. She wanted to spend time, just mother and daughter. Maybe this could work?
"Hurry up, Rose! We're going in 10 minutes."I heard my mom say downstairs. I sigh.
Why is she so excited?
"Coming!" I said as I walked downstairs.
"I was planning on going to watch a movie. You okay with that?" I nod at her and we walk to her car. She keeps saying that she's excited for today. The movie was fine. I'm not really a fan of horror, but it still scared the shit out of me. I don't know if I can survive sleeping without any nightmares tonight. We eat our lunch at Mom's favourite restaurant. It was yummy. I was busy eating when suddenly a woman approached us.
"Rory!"
I heard someone say, Huh? Mom greeted her friend and asked her to join us. She accepted. I learned that her name is Marie. She's my mom's classmate in college.
"Oh, you and my nephew have the same age."
She smiled. Nephew huh?
"What is his name?"
I asked curiously. She was about to answer when mom's phone suddenly rang. I stared at her. Who could it be? Mom said that she had to go back to the hospital. She got an emergency call from the hospital saying they needed her now. Mom said sorry and asked her friend Marie to drive me home. She agreed. Mom said goodbye to me and her friend.
"So, it looks like it's just you and me now.
Marie smiled at me. Yeah, She's kind. She told me that she couldn't send me home now. I was confused, to be honest. Why can't she send me home? Huh??
"I have to get my son into his tuition class. You could stay for a while at our house, and when I get back I'll drive you home. Or my nephew. You okay?" She grinned, guilty.
I'll probably die of boredom if I'm at home. So yeah, I agreed to her.
"Sure."
She drove us back to her house. This neighbourhood looks familiar.
"We're here! Go on dear, I already told my nephew that someone's coming over, so don't worry, he's not going to eat you." It was weird when she quoted it like that.
She said goodbye and drove away, saying that she'd be back in an hour. Seriously, this neighbourhood does look familiar. It feels like I live around here. I walk to the door and unlock the door with the key she gave me. Her house is beautiful. I felt a little uncomfortable because it suddenly felt cold, just as I was about to open the door to look at anything. The rain started falling. Gosh, why now? and It looks like it's not stopping anytime soon.
And so I started to regret wearing shorts and a thin white shirt. Gosh, why didn't someone tell me it was going to rain today? Plus, I feel like there's nobody in this house.
"What are you doing in Marie's house?"
I heard a voice. When I turned around, Oh holy God.

I'm so lucky, oh my God.
"Marie? As in your aunt?"
I was confused. Gosh! Wait, is he living with his aunt? That means... he's living close to me? That's why this neighbourhood seems familiar. I take a step back and rush to the door.
"Where are you going?"
He asked, confused. I can't be on the same roof with him. Especially when he is half naked. I might die. I just have to run back home. I'll be fine. Right?
"Um... Do you possibly have any umbrellas that I could borrow?" I turn to face him.
Don't stare Rose. Relax. Calm down. Gosh, why is he making me crazy?
"Why?"
Can't he just stop asking? And that's when the storm and lightning decided to join in.
I was startled.
He stared at me weirdly. I'd rather die by the lightning, but please God
"Marie will be back soon. Can't you wait? Why did you even follow her here anyway?"
He scoffed. Can't he just wear anything? As much as I like seeing his body, I don't want to do something that will embarrass me. God no. It feels like he's read my mind. He decided to wear a white shirt.
Why white?
I stare at him weirdly.
"How would I know she lives near my house? If I already know I'm at home by now."
I glared at him. He raised an eyebrow.
"You live around here? Did you move closer to me to stalk me?"
He said jokingly. It's not funny at all. I sighs. I don't need him to annoy me this time.
"Oh yes. I am stalking you." I rolled my eyes at him
He was silent.
"Maybe you should go home?"
He shrugged. cruel. really cruel.
"If you haven't noticed, it was raining heavily out there."
I said, staring at him.
"You live nearby, so it's not a problem."
If only I wasn't freezing here, I would have chased him, killed him, and hid his body in my room. Huh, creepy enough. When he noticed me walking towards the door, He spoke again.
"You're seriously going out there?"
He asked as if he didn't believe me. Oh, I will if I really have to.
"Why not? I won't be here to annoy you anymore."
He kept staring at me. What now?
"Uh... maybe you could sit down first and wait for Marie?"
He scratched the back of his head. I stared at him. He looked away. Was I making him nervous?
"On the floor"
Huh?
"What?" I was confused. "You could sit down on the floor. I'll take the couch."
He smirks. It's just not cool. I just glared at him.
"I was kidding Rosa. Relax."
He chuckled and told me to sit on the couch. I obeyed him because my feet were getting numb from standing. I sigh and check my phone. No signal? seriously. I noticed he was staring at me.
"What? You wanted to kill me now?"
I was just joking. There's no way he's going to kill me. right?
"Why not?"

We stayed silent for a few moments. It's killing me. I wanted to talk to him so badly. I noticed him staring at me again. He's going to drive me insane! He moved closer to me. Ohmygod, what is he going to do? I just keep my eyes on him.
"Black also looks good on you."
